I love the nod to the 1962 Toho Studios movie King Kong VS Godzilla. When Kong shoves the handle of his axe into Godzilla's mouth, it parallels the '62 movie when Kong force fed Godzilla a tree.

I thought Kong didnt like the mean lady from Apex, but I guess he had a "crush" on her. Anyways, these two titans are a team up i never thought i wanted. That was my favorite part of this whole movie. And I recommend the newest Godzilla and Kong movie. It's so much fun As for Apex, i could only look at them like Red Foreman and yell "DUMBASSES!"
Here’s a reason why Skull Island is under a permanent storm. The permanent storm that once surrounded Skull Island was interrupted with one of King Ghidorah’s storms that he was using to terraform the planet to his liking, eventually ended up interfering with the natural permanent storm that surrounded Skull Island and moved it to Island itself. So essentially, Kong losing his home is King Ghidorah’s fault but also the damage caused by the actions of Emma Russell and Allen Jonah from releasing King Ghidorah from the Antarctic ice.
Your enthusiasm over these movies, and the monsters in them is simply wonderful,..so love how emotional you got over both Kong and Godzilla,..made me tear up some,..your full investment in these creature characters, is lovely, as many of us have been for decades,..its really awesome,..and Kong's relationship with the little girl,..it is very moving,..and yess like you so wanted them to work together to fight other foes,..and I love how, again it's the little girl who bridges that gap between them, and is partially instrumental in getting them to work together,..and I was so impressed how Godzilla didn't see the need to fight to the death with Kong, but only wanted him to yield in the 2nd round of their fight,..and both agreeing to walk away from fighting at the end,..the way they are portrayed, truly as not going all out and mindlessly killing each other, pausing short of that is fantastic,...so glad you have joined us in the monsterverse, and can't wait til you see the new movie,..really think you will like it, and will be just as emotional, again especially with the way they are portrayed in the new one as well,..do keep going,..love it,..Godspeed, Peace ✌

So I'm only giving this 5 stars because you had to know what this movie was gonna be going in. It had expectations to meet and it hit 'em... pretty hard actually. It's not like an Oscar award winning, but it gets an A for the assignment given. Good job WB.
At this point, if you go into these movies and expect anything else, that's on the person, in all honesty.This was like what, the 4th or 5th movie in the Monsterverse franchise? Godzilla and Kong roaring at each other that way was them both being kings, not submitting to the other. Godzilla won 3rd round and saw that as enough to prove hes alpha. It isn't necessarily about killing the other alpha, but getting them to submit like Caesar does to Rocket in planet of apes lol.
Extremely fun movies, you beautiful creatures. Try and understand the subplots about government business people wanting power and control. The movie itself, is really a great representation about what would likely happen if the USA decided not to share their entirety of the information Monarch has been gathering for decades.
btw when Godzilla did drill the hole to thew hollow Earth he used 50% of his power so he did fight Kong on 50% to fool ppl that did belaive Kong woulld had a real chacne aginst Godzilla .. i mean to nerf godzilla to make this fight look even when its not even clsoe says much dosent it
