When Godzilla used his atomic breath to reach hollow Earth, used 50% of his power and then immediately fought Kong for round 2 and 3 again before fighting Mechagodzilla (possessed by Ghidorah).

The original idea for Ren Serizawa was that he created Mechagodzilla to serve as an ally to Godzilla. He was a staunch advocate for Godzilla like his father. Sadly they scrapped that idea and just made him a secondary villain who hates Godzilla for no reason.

Not for no reason, his father valued Godzilla more than his own son. It's like the jealousy that gets built up when your parents give all their attention to your sibling and not you, your entire life.
The only reason why mechagodzilla is taking down godzilla is that because he used 50% of his energy to blow a hole into the earth and 10% fighting kong. That and because mechagodzilla was made to kill him. Also, being controlled by ghidorah

1) Kong heard Ghidorah call from the last movie but ignore it only for a bunch of skull crawlers to wake up and went on a rampage and one of Ghidorah storms came to skull island and in the middle of this a giant bat named camazotz who was also awakened by Ghidorah travel to skull island to take it over
2) all the other titans that Ghidorah woke up are all asleep and the skull of Ghidorah even is the one controlling mechagodzilla after apex use the hollow earth energy to power up mechagodzilla

Feel from to add that the Ghidorah head used for Mechagodzilla was from Kevin (the curious/submissive one) so if it hadn’t been from his head Mechagodzilla would have been stronger in theory. Also Camatotz a giant Bat Titan attacked Kong on Skull island after being awakened by Ghidorahs call, in the Kingdom Kong graphic novel which is cannon to monsterverse.

The storm at Skull Island is explained in a tie-in comic. Basically, the storm that naturally surrounded the island combined with what was left of Ghidorah's storm, creating a perpetual super storm that now renders the island uninhabitable. Hence why Kong had to be contained.
You are exactly right. Ghidorah did take over Mechagodzilla the instant it got a sufficient power source.
Godzilla wasn't even going all out against Kong at first. Only when Kong actually got some hits on him you can see the G-man getting down on all fours and revert to a savage beast mode.

during the roar scene godzilla uses alpha roar at kong to make him submit but shockingly kong uses an alpha roar aswell showing his arrogance and dominance that hed rather die than submit so bassically we have two alpha of the monsterverse now that Godzilla x kong is in digital now icant wait for you guys to react to it
Not really, they did a Re-Roar at the end of the Movie and only Godzilla roared.
Kong is an Alpha Species, but he isn't THE Alpha who rules the planet.
After all, in GxK it's Godzilla running around putting out the fires (Titans) that are out of line and not Kong who is (mostly) just chilling in his home.
The fights between Godzilla and Kong were very cool, including their bout with Mechagodzilla! I give Kong an “A” for effort, but he wasn’t a match for the King of the Monsters. Team Godzilla FTW!

Supposedly, during the fight in Hong Kong, Godzilla wasn’t using his full strength. He spent the majority of time before that trying to find if Ghidorah was still alive with little to no rest in between. Though I don’t know if that was confirmed or if that was just a fan rumor.

Hello guys, in case you had any doubts, Godzilla is 120m and Kong is 102m tall. Also, Godzilla spent most of his time in Hong Kong playing with Kong and spamming his breath until the ax blow. This backfired on Godzilla because he was too weak to fight Mechag.
The reason Mecha G was wiping the floor with him was bc Godzilla was fatigued after his fight with Kong. If Godzilla was at his full strength, he’ll be able to take down Mecha G. Not to say Mecha G is a pushover bc he wasn’t but Godzilla would give him a run for his money

He's one of the most powerful creatures in all of fictional media, he's not getting worn out because he swam a long way lol. Unless a behind the scenes doc of the movie shows up with the director or anyone saying this, I'm chalking it up to fighting Kong, as kong gave him problems with his agility, until the atomic breath hit him in the back shoulder. Then because they had to wrap it up and it's GZ's movie it went from a even fun fight, to GZ biting kong, and actually tossing him with what felt like no weight to it (like he tossed a bag of napkins). I mean GZ took a giant ax to his head that exploded on impact, and that is a weapon made, and used to kill others in the past of GZ's kind when the kongs and zillas fought. The pacing of the fight was so bad.

This movie was such a blast to watch with my family. Very action packed and while the fight took place at night. They had the vibrant neon lights to make the area pop. The fights between Godzilla and Kong were epic. I had a feeling Godzilla was gonna win but Kong put up a decent fight.

Ghidorah being in outpost 32 in Antarctica is a reference to The Thing (stated as such in the directors' commentary). Destroying the computer console with Alcohol is another (referencing when Mac destroys the cheating Chess Wizard computer by pouring whiskey into it).

And yeah Mechagodzilla wa created to counter Godzilla, and know all of its weaknesses. Just remember that Godzilla killed Kong, so we know who the true alpha is :)
Godzilla is 393' tall, aircraft carrier typically 1100' long. Lay godzilla down, and it would be almost 3 of him to match the length of an average US carrier, which are sky scraper sized when stood on end. And yeah, Kong grew. Went from 104' in Skull Island to 335' in this one. They said he was still growing in Skull Island.

Kong is stronger than Godzilla but Godzilla is more powerful. It goes unnoticed but Kong was able to hold back Godzilla underwater where he's at his most powerful. Now keep in mind in king of the monsters Godzilla was able to rip off when a king ghidorah's heads yet come with able to hold his arms back then headed by the him to disorient him temporarily to get back on the ship. Also you should keep in mind he was drugged with a compound that captain from getting adrenaline boost during their fight in the water. Another thing to note is Godzilla and Kong fight in Hong Kong took place over the course of 8 hours. Before either of them having to fight mechagodzilla it has strength.
and all that was while he was 88% sedated, which is said to make him feel like hes drowning when he gets angry or trys using his strength.

Fun fact, this isn't the first time a Ghidorah has taken control of a Mechagodzilla. Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 2 in the Heisei series had humans build Mechagodzilla based on the salvaged remains of Mecha-King Ghidorah, and in the manga adaptation Mecha-King Ghidorah's spirit and programming took control of Mechagodzilla and beat Godzilla nearly to death, including almost beheading him with its missiles.

This Mechagodzilla's design was done by Jared Krichevsky, who'd previously designed the character for his appearance in Spielberg's adaptation of Ready Player One (that version actually being inspired by unused concept art for the Heisei MechaG). For GvK, he wanted to make this one more distinct. Design references included chameleons and mirror hand syndrome for the hands, the blocky design of classic Transformers, the Dino-Bots from Transformers: Age of Extinction, the T-800 from Terminator, and Mecha-King Ghidorah.
Speaking of, it is confirmed in the film's novelization that Ghidorah's consciousness took control of Mechagodzilla. Interestingly, this isn't the first version of Mechagodzilla to be possessed by Ghidorah, as that would also happen much earlier in the manga adaptation for Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla 2.

Getting popped with that ax pissed him off and then Kong got them hands. And then he SPARED him. Godzilla is a total Chad. Imagine how much less damage there would have been to Hong Kong if Kong hadn't been fucking with Godzilla. Godzilla would have found Mecha-Godzilla and destroyed it before it was ever activated. The director of the movie said that godzilla was toying with kong and used around %50 of his energy with toying kong and blowing a hole threw the earth. By the time he fought mecha godzilla he was really worn out and weak since godzilla and kong were fighting for a whole day, maybe even more. And by the time kong hit godzilla with the axe in the head, he was not messing arouns anymore. You can see that he decided to not let it slide since his style of combat changed with him being alot more aggresive and him crawling and pouncing on the ground to hit, scratch, and bite kong.
