I like to hit the Flooded Trainyard. With Butcher's Bounty, you can TYPICALLY get a lot of glowing meat from all of the glowing snallygasters that haunt that area.
It's actually mind boggling how many players don't know about/utilize food buffs or how much difference they make, granted the enemies, aren't that difficult, but these buffs are what make me able to solo earle in under 2 min, also mutation supression and buff stacking. I literally just showed a level 800 these food buff locations and ally buffs today.
A couple of thoughts - I'm always on the lookout particularly for strength & carry weight buffs. One of the best things to check is the slow cooker & mirelurk broiler resource gathers when you visit camps for deathclaw steaks & smoked mirelurk fillets (+60 carry for 90 mins). Making 'Mystery Meat Pies' are good for endurance & carry weight. Always do the 'Afternoon Tea' (?) event at the teapot for bulk meats (Stingwing/Mongrel/Wolf). A good place to check for salt/pepper/spice is the Rapidan Camp (Brown House & Visitors Cabin) in Skyline Valley. If you go to the Abandoned Waste Dump also check the 2 nests outside as deathclaw eggs can spawn there as well.
Another thing you can do is to travel to fissure prime after nuke event, you may find scorchbeast meat parts respawning on the ground, could be any parts as if you were farming them.
Watoga - on the roofs there is some "nests" that have random scorched beast meats in which you could probably do the picked up items reset to farm them.
Yasmin the camp ally is the single best place for high end buffs. She sells all types of tasty stews, and deathclaw wellingtons. The second best is Betty Hill at nuka world on tour. She sells yao guai pastries, gulper stuffed feet, and fried stuff on a stick.
At deathclaw island that white suitcase can also have 1+ eggs. I think one is sometimes a quest item? IDK that's a weird one but I've been checking it regularly. The dining room where Distinguished Guests takes place has a bunch of salt/pepper/spices, at least 6 and more in the kitchen. Source: I have over 2k of each on my food mule. Don't ask...
I'm not sure if anyone knows this, but the Abandoned Waste Dump has two Deathclaw nests on the outside, and the one near the cave entrance has one searchable egg IN the nest and one out on the nest. I don't know the spawn chance, but I get the one on the nest every time.
Good hint on the new static death claw egg location. When the challenge to collect a deathclaw egg is up, I usually go the the static spawn at the Monorail elevator, but as it is not an instanced zone it can happen that amother players already collected it. For quick Luck and Agility boosts I usually kill the opossum at Powder Winter Sports and the foxes at Big Fred's BBQ Shack.
You can find up to 3 eggs on Deathclaw Island, up to 3 inside and 3 outside the abandoned dump, and up to 3 in Hopewell Cave, of course you can also find zero.
A few things to note. Check the suitcase on deathclaw Island for eggs. It gets buggy. I've found as many as 6 eggs inside. Sometimes you'll have to open it as the eggs will disappear from the world menu. There is also an egg in the open world area of arktos pharma, but i can't really describe how to get it. I think that one is guaranteed, but I'm not sure. It's usually there. There is another egg which is a guaranteed spawn on top of the northern part of monorail elevator and there is an egg chance in the transmission station near deathclaw Island. The one you go into for the bos quest. For seared venison, if you need a few extra radstag meat, you can collect from the hanging radstags, they're all over the place. There's actually one at dent and sons and one at safe and clean disposal, which is convenient because if you run up to the whitespring from safe and clean, you'll find more radstags
Another deathclaw egg location is the Monorail elevator, the right side one, there is a static spawn on top of the building roof after taking the lift up, cannot remember exact location now as not done that farm for ages, mostly buy the stuff now, or I get the one from skyline vally for the daily.
@@fungkwong-toa9640 Yeah, any open spot will be harvested. Best place at the moment is the Dark Hallow Manor provided you have at least started the quest with access to the vault. Security office has a static spawn behind security desk.
Honestly I just keep to the regular mutant hound meat or glowing meat, in my experience that buff alone is enough to kill most enemies without much effort
My build is a low health cold shoulder vats build and was wondering what food mutation would be best for it, I have played since day one but had to stop after steel dawn and only started again the past 3 weeks
You also don't just have to choose one, serums are cheap to make and buy, you can pop a 2nd carnivore or herbivore to surpress negative effects and still get buffs from both
You've missed the pepperoni roll, the most powerfull strength booster food for cainivore player. Along with gulper stffed foot, extremely powerful. Savior for hoarders. Easy gredients to get, which is the gulper innards, you can get tonnage of them from the jambree event.
Remember that Surface to Air events also give you a steady stream of SBs, especially that one by Generals Steakhouse. Thanks for this rundown. I've been thinking about switching my new full health heavy PA guy to carnivore. I'll probably just get my luck boost from Nuka Dark, as is tradition.
It's just so easy to be a carnivore. Almost everything I kill gives me meat. I drop and sell meat all the time. Not to mention the free experience earned by just cooking it.
Another option for intelligence food though not as potent as sb brains is The owlet spawns at haven church. On the roof left of the church. Once killed and looted you learn the owlet nugget recipe. This is 1 of 2 owlet spawns in the entire game. The other spawns in the deep and is 99% of the time sadly killed by cricket's. It will give you 2 or 3 intelligence for 30 minutes.
Nuka dark with party boy and happy go lucky is great also, but whiskey is fantastic, I run a full health melee and a bloodied/1k ap heavy and these food buffs make so much difference
OK I've already put this comment in multiple places so after this I'll stop so I don't sound like a know it all, but serums are cheap to make and buy, don't forget popping a 2nd herbivore or carnivore suppresses the negatives, so if you surpress it you can use buffs from both
I tend to avoid recipes with Starlight Berries with the excetion of Tasty Mutant Hound Stew. They kinda suck to farm and I'd rather use what I have to farm for Berry Mentats.
Is the 100% extra crit blight soup not worth it anymore over the stat you get from carnivore buffs? Last time i was invested in this game, crits were so strong on bosses but it looks like everything is additive now
I would say Herbyvore is still the way to go in case of ranged damage and carnivore for melee and a bit convenience due to all the meat food generators
Sugar weighs nothing with food weight reductions and you won't use much as a carnivore. Picking up what you find is more than enough and you'll never really need to farm it. Unless you're a hard lemonade drinker like me.
Tasty squirrel stew is a pretty great recipe worth mentioning. It boosts xp by 25%. My freezer is filled with squirrel stew and scorchbeast brain
Did you not watch the Video?
It was mentioned at 3:14

Radroach on a stick is a dropped plan from at least one of the Nukaworld events. Once you learn it, there's no reason to use anything else.

Good tip.
Yo?

Is Yasmin a season reward? Anyway to unlock her?
Think so...with bullion from either foundation or crater...cant remember @@KomaaGod28
@KomaaGod28 I believe you can purchase her for gold bullion at foundation, if I remember correctly
Stingwing Filet and Deathclaw Steak have the same strength bonuses for people having issues finding deathclaw meat to make into steaks.

As someone that regularly farms meat and eggs to make wellingtons, i hate when that is up for a daily lol
You can find up to 3 eggs on Deathclaw Island, up to 3 inside and 3 outside the abandoned dump, and up to 3 in Hopewell Cave, of course you can also find zero.
Insane timing. I was just looking for food buffs this morning.
If i eat those in real life, can i gain the same benefits too?
I hunt scorched beast at fissure sites, best buffs

8 out of 10 I got nothing from this location, seems lot of people travel here to farm the deathclaw egg.

Super helpful video! Just started using carnivore and I learned a lot from this
Awesome!
My build is a low health cold shoulder vats build and was wondering what food mutation would be best for it, I have played since day one but had to stop after steel dawn and only started again the past 3 weeks
There's no right or wrong answer. Herbivore food does more crit damage and carnivore foods are a bit easier and give better special buffs.
You also don't just have to choose one, serums are cheap to make and buy, you can pop a 2nd carnivore or herbivore to surpress negative effects and still get buffs from both
A 3rd Deathclaw egg can randomly spawn in that suitcase on Deathclaw Island. It has a unique loot list.
You've missed the pepperoni roll, the most powerfull strength booster food for cainivore player. Along with gulper stffed foot, extremely powerful. Savior for hoarders. Easy gredients to get, which is the gulper innards, you can get tonnage of them from the jambree event.

I always forget that one.
It's just so easy to be a carnivore. Almost everything I kill gives me meat. I drop and sell meat all the time. Not to mention the free experience earned by just cooking it.
Carnivore is great for ap, I run a 1k ap heavy
Also don't forget carnivore serums are cheap to make and buy and you can surpress carnivore to still use your herbivore buffs
You forgot the Golf Club, plenty of salt & pepper there

Great video as always. Thanks
Thanks Wiggle, i do like the carnivore over herbivore when i spec into mutations
You don't have to choose don't forget, you can surpress one by using a 2nd carnivore and herbivore and get buffs for both :)
I’m so torn what to be. I use vats a lot but then I recently discovered auto axe but with raid do I need to be herbivore since I won’t be melee?
You don't need to be melee to go carnivore. I play carnivore vats.
OK I've already put this comment in multiple places so after this I'll stop so I don't sound like a know it all, but serums are cheap to make and buy, don't forget popping a 2nd herbivore or carnivore suppresses the negatives, so if you surpress it you can use buffs from both
It’s the video we have all been waiting for tbh.
The wait is over.
Also in point pleasant around the picknick table there are a few mothman eggs
Suitcase on Deathclaw Island can also have eggs in it.
I tend to avoid recipes with Starlight Berries with the excetion of Tasty Mutant Hound Stew. They kinda suck to farm and I'd rather use what I have to farm for Berry Mentats.
I wish carnivore has a crit boost meal.
That would be nice. You can still use Sweet Mutfruit Tea or Steeped Thistle Tea for 50% crit boost.
It does. Megasloth Mushroom soup 😊
That's a herbivore food.
You can pop a 2nd herbivore or carnivore serum and surpress negatives so you can use buff from both at the same time :)
Herbivore will do the most crit damage. You can get 50% with carnivore using Sweet Mutfruit Tea or Steeped Thistle Tea.
Very nice!
Sugar weighs nothing with food weight reductions and you won't use much as a carnivore. Picking up what you find is more than enough and you'll never really need to farm it. Unless you're a hard lemonade drinker like me.
How do you have 999 carry weight?
Custom world.
@@wiggle_plays Ahhhh!! Okay. Thank you! I thought my capacity was decent but I saw that and started feeling some inadequacy issues coming on. lol
I always agonize over whether to use carnivore or herbivore. I switch so much, haha.
I played herbivore on my main character for years. Switched because of the changes to endurance cards and the pemmican collector.
I don’t eat meat
Not the "Best" food but easy to get.
