Hadada (Hadeda) Ibis Bird Call & Birding Video - Sunset Dam, Kruger Park
The Hadada Ibis, is also known as the Hadeda Ibis, or just the Hadeda/Hadada. It's scientific name is Bostrychia hagedash, and is very common water bird and garden bird in South Africa. Surprisingly, they are not seen too often in the Kruger National Park, and I have had just a few sightings (All around water), at Sunset Dam (Where this video was taken), the Sabie River, the Crocodile River, Leeupan, Lake Panic and the Letaba River. They can be annoying too many in suburban areas, with their bird call (Which can be heard in this video), but when you are in the Kruger National Park, they seem very attractive.
