I love the Ibis. When I tell people, they think I am crazy for some reason. I love the beautiful colours on their necks and I think they are a really interesting bird.
There is quite a large population of Ibis at Sweeney Park in Petrie, on the North side of Brisbane. They nest in the palms and larger trees near the entrance to the reserve, by a long billabong.
Thank you. Always love learning from you all on Anne's team.
WTF is Anne?
I'm looking forward to this series.
Love these types of stories. Very interesting.
Great information on the ibis feathers! I love this article. From USA.
I love the Ibis
I took one as a pet. He stays inside my little unit he loves it!
Lakeside next to The Lakeside cafe in Oakden south Australia…. They have taken over the lake!
Good to see Anne
All about the 🙌🏾
You should go to the tip. They are everywhere.
The urban ibis, Thoth, only mingles with kookas, magpies, crows, butchers, pee wees, minors and currawongs at my place. And he loves the palms 🌴 born local, lives local. I’ve known him for five years. Where can I send his feathers?
lol
You're asking you tube hahaha. Why not email the university and ask them?
you forget their other natural habitat: skip bins
Also quiet common in Western Aust.
Why is ibis less frequently shown than people?
because a lot of people see them as a 'bin chicken'. They are city birds and leave a mess from their bin pickings.
Shame that only Australians can stream the full documenation. Happy for every snippet tho.
Foreigners shouldn't set their VPNs to Australia before trying to watch the full documentary because that would violate the licensing agreement. ;)
How could an amazing bird be sooo successful
good old tip turkey
Great birds. Humans are the villains.
I remember when an international university student was describing a bird which she did not know the name of. She called it "the garbage bird" and we all immediately knew what they were talking about. O_o;
Rats also live in palm trees
Bin chickens , yuck. Cheers
THEY'RE CUTE BRO
Thay are not in there natural habit they need crabs to gain their beautiful red color
How are they are villian?Humans make the mess.

Very interesting, just an unrelated comment ABC, why don't you drop your disgusting Left wing and political bias and stick to balanced and impartial news reporting, like you are supposed to do!
