No LIE: RM WROTE HIS OWN SPEECH HERE, HE MEMORIES IT AND HE WROTE IT NOT JUST FOR HIMSELF BUT ALSO FOR BTS AND ARMY'S. Theres a actually a clip when BTS members including bts managers tell them the concept abt the topic and rm immediately just wrote a speech.
Fun fact when rm was rehearsing jimin was massaging him because he was nervous to give speech and when he was reading the speech Jimin's head was exploding seeing him read that speech. 😁😍. He understands how hard RM working. ☺️
Now what they didn’t show is how BTS ended up having to do an impromptu fan meeting after their speech bc literally everyone bombarded them for pictures and autographs once they sat back down 😂😂

I am 30 years old, and they showed me the way to love me. I lived my whole life acting like others wanted me to be, trying to be perfect so that others would be proud of me ... and along the way I lost myself. After the LY series, I left my job, a place where I made a lot of money, but where I lived constantly stressed and unhappy, speak for myself, cry, get angry and heal. And since I restarted as a person, I live happy, my husband and son see me happy and they are happy too. BTS is part of our family life. With them I teach my son about values and ideal. And they have given him more confidence. They are not just a musical taste, they are a philosophy of life 💜

I remember crying when rm said 'no matter your skin color or gender identity', because as an /asian/ based artist he cant really say his support for a specific (lgbt) group outright, but he tries so hard, so hard to show his support in his position.
I lived in this country in the closet my whole life bc the priviledge people have in the west are just mere dreams to us. To know that the person we look up to accept us another feeling in and of itself. What a comfort that man is, in the world as it is today.

I always write the sentence in this speech on my exam questions sheet as the main encouragement. this speech helped me when I wanted to end my life because of the difficulty of studying as a medical student and being surrounded by toxic people.

When i tell you i cried while watching the livestream of this speech back in 2018, like i felt that!!! Every word namjoon said really hit home to me. And i will truly forever be grateful for BTS and their messages of comfort and hope. So happy you are finally able to watch the whole speech. This speech will forever be powerful!

Its been years since the speech took place but why am i still crying? Coz their message literally helped me , i dont do good at work but yet their message makes me stand up and be confident.. i love them and what they can do to change someone's perspective in life in a heartbeat..
They hv been thru alot as an artist n normal human being. If they were big the moment they debuted, the story might change. The craziest thing to me is that less than 24 hours before this speech, they were giving it their all onstage in Hamilton. I was literally on a greyhound heading back home the next day and they were already in New York giving the speech!!

That's the amazing thing with BTS, they embrace all the aspects of art and help A LOT OF people worldwide with it, urging to young generation and everybody else, to be in knowledge of themselves and not only that but speaking up about it.
I'm an army since 2015 and is incredible how my life changed positively since then, because you just feel that you're in a familiar space when you listened to their songs and watch their videos. They are true artist and amazing human beings.
My strong recommendation to you guys is "Change" by RM (feat. Wale) it's all in english and was realesed in 2017, the lyrics are just PERFECT, such deep and real stuff, even more in the time that we are passing through so much. l Iove your reactions and I send a lot of support from Brazil :)
