Just got mine. Ive only gone on 2 rides but I already love it!! Im 46 and how awesome it is to be able to do an exercise that's so fun, that I don't even think of it as exercise. If you know what I mean.
There’s not a ton of options for bike size in the wheelie/big Bmx scene … you basically get a 23.5” top tube no matter what brand you go with for a 29” bike. That said, I’ve seen 5’5” - 6’6” riding these without issues, and usually a taller handlebar works for most tall people.
I subscribed bc I enjoy your vids and everyday life of just getting out there doing your thing. As posted in another one of your vids, I got that 18" Sunday Primer for my son 2 days ago, and the Sunday High C 29" in green yesterday in LA bc San Diego is sold out of all 29" for appx 6wks. It's mayhem here. Was able to get it out today. My son and I hit the streets of Downtown San Diego. His little 6yr old self loves going downtown for some odd reason. So we go. I bunny hopped a mad curb and impressed myself that I still had what it took. I haven't done one that size since I was 15yrs old. I can't wait to get this bike out daily. I can run the dog for a few and once he's just spent, I can play around. Ive ridden motorcycles for 30yrs. The same every time, high costs of maintenance and also tickets. So what is the next best wheelie bar so I can search amazon, etc
Hi Sofa, awesome that you got a bike. Everything is sold out near me, and it seems like everything online is sold out, too. At least now you’ll be riding with your kid! What is your question? You want new handlebars?
@@dadmodewheeliegang what are your recommendations on must replace? I don't really need any bells and fancy whistles. Just functional things. I think handle bars are first. I'm a wheel but on a motorcycle but never learned as a kid which the itch is coming back after decades. It would be awesome to do a wheelie on a bike and not get a mean traffic citation by a police officer like I got 20yrs ago on motorcycles. Lol
@@TheYoungerSemiOldMan right outta the box this bike will wheelie no problem. I think for me, I changed the gearing from 27/13 to 30/15 (pretty much the same ratio), because I wanted a louder freewheel, but it wasn't necessary at all. I would recommend changing the brake pads to kool stops. The original promax pads really ate into my rim and they were really noisy.

I'm 45, so I'm right there with you! I totally know what you mean, it's just great getting out on it, and it's so smooth right out of the gate.
