Splatter may not be the best gamer, but I'd love to see him voice a character for a video game.
You know.. I've seen a lot of Slay the Spire-esque games over the past two years and this is at the same time a lot like Slay the Spire and nothing like it at all. I dig it!
The combat look reminds me of final fantasy tactics. That is still my absolute favorite game.

The first one is legit the best one ever I just took a quick look on it on new grounds since flash games are dead in most websites but just looking at all the legendary character designs but deep brahhhhh now I’m old as fuck 😂

The bears beats Battlestar Gallactica doesn't really make sense *in* context aside from that Dwight knows about bears and battlestar gallactica. And beets, if it's the vegetable.

@@darioildiario3001 that wasn't really what I was insinuating there. It was more the fact Splat has the tendency to miss things that are right in front of him, I mean just look at the tarred planks debackle from Landlord Super. Not saying it was a lazy video, it's just funny in that mildly frustrating kind of way, and alot of us enjoy that.
@@ElderonAnalas That's because he plays so many games to make so many sub-quality videos. He would do better to find one good game a week and actually understand it instead of just halfway reading tooltips while playing a game for the first time for 30 minutes.

No, it shouldn’t be lightening. It should be fighting type damage. Normal is weak too fighting type. Fighting type is weak too flying. Then the fliers are weak too lightening.

Small update:. After playing it for a few hours last night I did find it to be fun. There are definitely some balancing issues in the various relics, and there needs to be a way to save after the various stages so when you die you don't have to start over, but otherwise it was quite fun.
7/10 - it has some pretty obvious flaws, but it's definitely a good way to kill a few hours.

18:20 Dont think Special Delivery is as good as he thinks it is. It's effectively just a mana piggy bank since you have to pay 30 mana to play it (which isn't the solution to a man heavy deck). But i think his issue also was that he spammed fairly useless cheap cards too much instead of waiting till you have mana enough for the better, more expensive, cards.

You should stop opening with Gladiator while you haven't yet stacked up enough mana (100) to immediately give him an escort.
Expecially true because you mostly sent him solo vs anti-armor animals.
And the zap spell should be used to turn large groups that into small, easily punchable groups.
This is like a reverse tower defense.
why would you pick starting mana instead of mana regen? mana regen with upgrade is likely the best investment possible if you can make it
where is the change speed button? isn't it in the game?
Looks like my kind of game, i'm just a bit worried about the difficulty. There really seems to be close to no challenge. Does it get substantially harder as you progress?
if you were expecting difficulty in the first 20 min of game you've got issues buddy
@@cesar9058 That was an awfully agressive way of adressing that question. And i would say most roguelites does in fact display a degree of difficulty in the beginning. Certainly more than what is displayed in this video.
@@renediffie Hello. As someone who owns the game, I can say the difficulty does ramp up. Depending on the path, your early choices can strongly influence how later events go. Consistency in a deck is key (as in most deck building games). Some enemies will rush you down from multiple paths; boss fights also have the challenge of multiple villages, their keep, and the boss unit. Level two picks up with even normal fights having more advanced units and multitude of relics to increase their stats. 2 hours on Steam will give you a good indicator if you'll like it or not. math must be hard, when you rather pick 25 starting mana over 25% increased regen when below 50 mana.
which is 12.5 starting mana on it own, but also pretty much last the entire fight.
also forgot to mention this stacks with taking extra castle's too.

I guess I somehow changed my genetics then, because I used to hate coriander and the soap taste but now I love it.

yep Cilantro tastes like soap to some of us. And not by choice but by genetics. So consider yourself lucky it doesn't taste horrible to you because it literally ruins anything someone puts it in for me.

I liked the game, but it gets a bit repetetive, when you figure out which combos are really OP.
Doesn't sound too bad though. I like crushing the opposition with some stupid OP cheese.
Personally I play weird shit and try to make it work. Even when it doesn't work it's fun! 🦹♀️

This looks fun except for the card mechanic. I am so over deckbuilding and card game mechanics infesting every other genre.
Pleaaaaaase try to put some commas in your sentences. You play really cool games, and I really wanna watch your let's plays, but you keep rush-talking as if you're playing "keep talking and nobody explodes", literally. It makes you sound very stressed about not talking enough and consequently stresses the viewer too. So please, just relax a bit. You really don't have to fill every tiny silence with a word.
Other than that, nice video, keep up the good work!
