Splat typically leaves that up to his viewers. Typically you can find a comment that does a few time stamps. If I have time and in early I will try to leave some time stamps for you guys. Or do to his discord and ask another mod nicely if they wouldn't mind.
I played a similar concept as a mobile game. Being able to get the same without a the whole "wait 24 hours after upgrading" is gonna be a major win for me, so definitly checking this out :)

Agree with the comment that there wasn't much to this game when it first released. With the past two updates from the developer, it's expanded the number of locations, unit types, unit abilities, and the tech tree. It's easy to see the time and dedication that was put into all aspects to greatly improve the core gameplay.
You do not need to build anything to deploy BOLO or Star Destroyer in the battle. You do it like you did this with rebel's deploying. Check little lower under line with rebel's squad icons.
The rebels make a great addition to your forces adding a little bit of specialization to your loadout. My personal favorite is a anti tank platoon made up of rocket dudes and the snipers who inflict weakness on whatever they shoot so they sort out tanks with a speed that just wasn't possible with making your whole fortress based around it.
It has been on my Wishlist for a bit. Just waiting for a sale, I feel 25 is more than I'll get out of this game. I have too many games that I get 4 hours into and don't finish and I don't feel bad if I spent 10 or less on it but the20 and up games I get disappointed when that happens.
If you make a really balanced base that can handle any type of attack, the difficulty tends to make relative sense, but if you focus on one particular thing (like anti-ground) and forget to ever make anti-air stuff, even an easy mission will be brutal if it's all air units.
Max guardians, cleaver, disintegrator, shield, and gunships. All you need. Also SAM sites / decimators if you have the resources (which you should if you’re being meta)
Looks a bit different from when i last played. Infact the first time the boss showed up i won, it was close, don't ask me how, i actually don't know. Played the game through in one go. Looks like it has changed a bit, think I'll load it up and have another go. Doubt I'll be so lucky as they say 2nd time round. (Actually 3rd time, i got slaughtered on a 2nd run)
have you tried gsync or freesync and maybe a frame limiter to match or slightly lower your fps to your monitors refresh rate to reduce tearing? Much better experience than vsync.
Whoah this is insane.. The gameplay loop of this is LITERALLY the stratagem I designed for my custom Titanicus Legion for 40k. They shoot out titan arms from orbit, modified with gun ports and energy fields behind the planetary thrusters that come off in decent, so when they land and embed themselves into the ground, the Secutarii Hoplites and Peltasts create a solid line at the barrier of the field, while the guns open fire above them as covering fire, allowing them to take ground on the offensive without the need for an entire Titan to be on standby. What a weird world.
I want to love this. But the constant moving around, looking for targets is bothering me. You saw it in the last battle. You missed a bomber and it hurt. I like a more static map rather than the move to see everything.
You don't need to look all the map for targets, you can use your troops to help you with that, since they always position themselves depending where the enemy is, it includes flares and enemies that are still out of bounds
A comparison to Supreme Commander is IMHO not adequate (utter ..). (supcom 1 that is, not supcom 2 which is a big disappointment (also IMHO)) This strikes me more like an Android app from 2011 or so.
Honestly I think if they made it rogue-like as you describe it would make it more boring / generic - all games now have 'random modifiers' and enemies coming in waves and whatnot, it's rare to see a spin from it nowadays. Game looks dope, will try it

Ive played thru this game probably a dozen times doing different tower builds each time, you the man splat

The way the tower pieces come in and the way they look reminds me of a mobile game called Mega Tower, lots of similarities actually.

Maybe the shields in the objectives are actually the faction that you are engaging, as the 3 factions are each those colors in trade screen, idk....
