- Saddle up and ride along with Roman and me while we doctor some calves! Roman takes a pretty good spill in this one but don't worry, he walks it off.
I really like my F10 Ultra saddle pad! I've tried lots of different pads over the years but this one is about the best thing out there. Here's a link to the one I use:

Glad Roman is alright. I had a couple days last winter where I couldn’t have caught 2 legs if someone held them up for me lol.

Shining Spark was a national reining horse association money winner. I double pad all horses, whether it's a client horse or my own. Waffle pad first the a professional choice pad on top. I used a Nathan Lamb roping saddle full quarter horse bars 16 inch seat double rigged with a rough out pulling collar. Same saddle and pads for over 20 years. Your riding puts a lot more wear on your equipment than my riding does.
@@thomasosburn833 thanks for the info. I’m not opposed to using two pads, just don’t think it’s necessary in many cases. One good pad will do more for your horse than two crappy ones. But the real trick is making sure your saddle fits good. Just my opinions.

@@ccc1594 not exactly. It’s more of a medium wide-ish port. But similar. I have a seven cheek from him with a frog and that’s a good bridle too

what are your favorite ropes? I've been using waxed cotton last couple years.
@@dustinneudorf2987 I like 100 percent nylon ropes the best. There are some nylon poly blends out there I like also.
