Nice work.
How much do you charge per animal, getting one roped strung and treated?
Fun video. Hard work
Great tutorial. Thank you
@@howardbarrett1125 thanks for watching partner, glad you found this useful
You’re a regular Michelangelo Awesome job
Horses love this stuff.
What a great way to work and live. Caring for animals.
@@howardbarrett1125 it sure is. I sure enjoy it.
Best trippin horse ever I bought from an ole boy contract day rider pasture doctor out of Canyon TX. This horse could size up cattle and literally saved my life several times.
Will definitely watch with my kids from now on. Great roping. We enjoy it when you leave the doctoring footage in too.
@@beauc5155 thanks for watching partner. And thank you for the feedback, that really helps out.
Hey, that bronc looks like he's doing pretty well! Nice job.
@@keenanmccalmont9445 he got a little better as the day went on for sure. Thanks for watching!
Excellent, professional
@@howardbarrett1125 thank you for watching 🤠
Man I want to go rope something now. Another great vid.
@@AmericanFrontierCo don’t let fear and common sense hold you back! Thanks for watching partner
what does a horn wrap do? is it necessary?
@@Razzle_and_Dazzle. it is necessary if you plan to rope cattle. A horn wrap protects your horn when you dally (wrap your rope around the horn). A horn wrapped with leather is considered “slick” horn and taking wraps around the horn acts like a break to slow and stop the cow that is roped.
@@pastureparamedic thanks!
Great job thanks for this video good horse too Thank from France Normandie
@@azertyquerty6072 thanks for watching partner!
Great vid pard! Keep it up!
@@AaronReinert-oc2jg thanks partner. Not planning to stop any time soon
Been watching you for a while now and I'm wondering where you got that bit with the frog mouthpiece i think my mare would like one!
@@ccc1594 if it’s the bit I think it is it’s a Richard Brooks
@@pastureparamedic thank you! Looked like it had a santa Barbara cheek with a frog mouthpiece from what I remember
@@ccc1594 not exactly. It’s more of a medium wide-ish port. But similar. I have a seven cheek from him with a frog and that’s a good bridle too
@@pastureparamedic much appreciated
THIS is all the stuff you see on the TV used in real life in a great video. Couple nice ponies right there n if ya don’t cuss yourself out when ya leg who will? Haha great video fellas
@@zachaddingtonZ2A thanks for watching partner
What camera and setup do you use??
@@sammyvargas2000 I use the Osmo Action 3 from DJI. They’re known for their drones, but their action cameras are top of the line also and for my purposes it definitely outperforms the GoPro. And I’m just wearing it on my hat with a cheap head strap from Amazon.
Lol " FUCK"... LOVE HOW U USE THAT WORD 😂😅 HAHAHA...FAWK YEAH
Glad Roman is alright. I had a couple days last winter where I couldn’t have caught 2 legs if someone held them up for me lol.
@@robgriz72 I’m glad he’s alright too. Good guy and good help. Him and I have won a bunch of money roping together I was just teasing him about the legs haha. He’s a good sport
Are you getting the suttons from alturas vet or is there somewhere else around here that sales them. Im in davis creek.
@@jarredterra7508 I get some from the vet clinic and I order some.
@@jarredterra7508 they don’t always have the ones I want at the vet. And they cost more there
If you ever wanna make a big order let me know the give a pretty big discount for the more you order.
what are your favorite ropes? I've been using waxed cotton last couple years.
@@dustinneudorf2987 I like 100 percent nylon ropes the best. There are some nylon poly blends out there I like also.
@@pastureparamedicwhat is the green one you use, i used a few patriots, but they lost life so quick
@@dustinneudorf2987 the green one I used on instagram is called the hammer and it’s from Sutton ropes
Shining Spark was a national reining horse association money winner. I double pad all horses, whether it's a client horse or my own. Waffle pad first the a professional choice pad on top. I used a Nathan Lamb roping saddle full quarter horse bars 16 inch seat double rigged with a rough out pulling collar. Same saddle and pads for over 20 years. Your riding puts a lot more wear on your equipment than my riding does.
@@thomasosburn833 thanks for the info. I’m not opposed to using two pads, just don’t think it’s necessary in many cases. One good pad will do more for your horse than two crappy ones. But the real trick is making sure your saddle fits good. Just my opinions.
What rope where you using in this video?
@@bodaciousdaake5854 I was using the lonestar Poly ranch rope. I think I put a link to it in the description
@pastureparamedic Thank you looks like it stands up good on the heels for a poly!
@@bodaciousdaake5854 I did a review of this rope on instagram. In the review I mentioned I don’t think it would be any good to heel with, and then this branding was the day after I posted the review. Turns out it’s actually decent to heel with. Far exceeded my expectations
@pastureparamedic I watched that video and that's why I thought it couldn't be that poly! Looks good man good roping as always!
@@bodaciousdaake5854 thanks partner. Yeah it was working that day for sure. Better than your average gold poly for sure but I wouldn’t trust it too much.
Wow that’s an awesome job, also a very instructive video. Easily one of my favorite cowboy TH-camrs.

Wooow. You guys must be careful. with those horses that raise their heads a lot. That's how a friend of mine died while racing a mule and the horse fell on him, killing him.👍👊🙋 Good video!!! Greetings from Sonora. Mx.
Nice video. What do you use, is it a GoPro and is it on a hat?
@@dennisroddy5074 it’s the osmo action3 from DJI. Real similar to the go pro cameras. And yep just strapped to my hat
Thanks

@@dededenver9560 yep both horse and rider were totally unharmed
