- Just outside of Albany, Texas there lies Nail Ranch. Founded in 1901, with cattle drive roots dating back the late 1800s, Nail Ranch is a 19,500 acre fully operational cattle ranch, a renown west Texas white-tail deer hunting destination, and a world class cutting horse and roping training program.
There's no other place like this in the world. The terrain is wild and rugged. and the landscapes are endless. The wildlife is beautiful and diverse. Nail Ranch could truly be considered the opening corridor to the wild west.

I’m 72 years old and I was a Marine for 30 years but I dreamed of being a cowboy on a cattle drive or ranch. I don’t own a horse but I would love to have an Appaloosa. This is the kind of work I would love to do. Unfortunately I am old and I can only look at videos. Thanks for sharing.👍👍🐎🇺🇸

I had the pleasure of hunting the Nail back in the early 90s for hogs and we had a great time every time we went there. Looks like it hasn't changed.

I only 240 acres. 30 cows. Im 25 now. That aint making a living here in Oklahoma so i go work for my neighbor who owns several large pasture. Head quarters is 14 miles by 12 miles.
Then the rossel is 8 by 6 miles.
The feed lot is just a feed lot.
Then they have a registered hereford bull sale.
Theres 9 large pastures in total. Smallest is 3 miles by 4 miles. Its across the road from my property. I ride horses and wean for him and help plant wheat etc.
I also day work for other ranchers when working cattle.
You would think i would be sick of it but thr trip is im a first generation rancher. Im not done growing my operation tell i die and i want 1,000 at the very least

Le gardian est comme vous dans les ranchs même vie.Dans un espace plus petit. Pour le cheval, il est complètement blanc. Pour les vêtements vous avez les pantalons peau de pêche, avec un liseré noir sur le coté. La chemise est avec des fleurs, et pour le chapeau,
ce n'est pas du feutre, mais fait avec du liège et du coton, c'est un chapeau de soleil. il n'a pas de lasso, mais une sorte de trident

my familys been in the Guthrie, Lueders, and Albany area since in the 1800s and its an honor to getting to live around these big beautiful ranches hope my kids are also into the agriculture bussiness .
