- This is the tenth audit for Northern Audits and it takes place in Wakefield at the Coca Cola Bottling Factory. The Wakefield plant was built in 1989 as a manufacturing and distribution centre for CCE (Coca Cola Enterprises) in the North of England. The plant is the largest soft drinks factory in Europe, covering an area of 41 acres and has 72,000m² of buildings.

@@a-bootiful-mind6648 I could do that right now with the tallest fountains of any UK city, which is surrounded by over 100 smaller fountains, and is just 1.5 miles down the road from me.
I suspect if it had an effect, it would only last a few seconds.
@@a-bootiful-mind6648 The fountains tank holds over 500,000 litres of water, and is locked away with a security guard as far as I know.
Therefore I'd only be able to pour the bubble bath down the holes for the fountains themselves, which like I said I doubt the bubbles would last long, even it it worked.
Security guy did OK there... He was polite but insistent you leave the site, he shepherded you back to public access, and offered you info on who to contact. 10 out of 10 for him. Why can't all security people be as calm & decent as he was.

In all fairness, that security guy was spot on. Professional and knew the score. He may not have known the specifics about the drone flying but he knew you could film from public land with no problems.

Security guard did exactly as he was supposed to, keep unautherised people of the property (decently) and admitted you were well within your rights to do what you want off their property ie drones, videoing etc Good audit all round.
I'm amazed how it is so.many security guards are a legal liability to the business they are supposed to protect , im aware of at least three who have been sacked for situations that took place " off site "

I think that security guy did a pretty good job imo...
I was delivering to this gate for a year back in 2017 with packaging, heavy rolls of shrink wrap for the can packs etc. This security guard was there then and he is a really nice fella. All the security guards at this gate were professional and polite, they had female officers too back then. They have strict rules, where the two artics were parked is the holding area until their allocated delivery point (mine was right opposite the gates), and they come out to make sure there are no dogs, passengers in the cab. If you have a passenger they would have to wait by the gatehouse until you drove out. The drivers are all given arrival times and they do try their best to get you in if you are late. Can't remember his name but I wouldn't put it on here anyway, but he was spot on with me and he was spot on in this video.
Engaged with you whilst on the property.. disengaged once you left and went back his area. You were both respective of each other. A job well done.
you said to the security man "you have been very professional" I think everybody would say ALL here were very professional, so well done, good audit 👍💫

Security bad wasn't too bad - sought advice where he wasn't sure, informed that he doesn't have to give his name, was relatively polite and respectful, showed his badge. I would say that's a pass.

I love this, I see it nearly everyday, it’s so good to see it from another angle. Really enjoyed our chat but forgot to mention the building next door supplies the cans via conveyor, I think around 3000+ cans per minute, water comes from Ardsley Reservoir to Kirkhamgate treatment works then to Coca cola’s via their own 600mm water main which is about 2 mile long it’s then purified on site. They also have a solar farm in West Ardsley. Look forward to the next audit

This is the 41 estate at Wakefield. The "public road" referred to is a bit of an odd one. It is a private road with a public right of way. Its owned by Morrison's.

As a security officer he should know the rules and regulations about drones that might be flown over their company site as their are loads of auditors and people flying drones these days.
You are asking a lot , most of them don't know their elbow from their arse.

The place you have been recording in is a very special place according to my old maps ,,here is where a well used to be,,Wacky well,,monks used to live and look after the waters,,the monks had a job of keeping the water to a high standard,,if they weren't able to look after it,, People used to pee,,be sick,dump,the contents of home made nappies down the well, terrible,so it was a magical place to get fresh water.the secret recipe is the old well in the heart of the plant,,monks from the local priory still visit once a year to make sure that the water is pure,and the are rewarded with a case of Cola,,strange but true.!Wackey Well.
Lovely story, but Yorkshire Water pump it in by the million litres every day. No well is keeping up with that plant.

I wonder if it's occurred to any company to put their name/logo on the roof of buildings like this one. A Coke logo covering a building this size would be easily visible from all passing aircraft and would probably be as conspicuous as any notable landmark. Plus you'd get thousands of drone pilots swarming over to get a shot and put that logo on pretty much every social media.
Ive seen that on the approaches of lots of airport runways.
1:14, they are using lego as part of the barriers, cant be too secure with those. My lego blocks always fell apart.
