If you are in the luxury world accept the reality or just leave there are 1 million watches but more than 1 million buyers hence premium and in case of gs there are 35k watches but 30k buyers hence the below retail price simple economics
@@songoku-jx3cb no disrespect meant but I’m not a newbie nor do I have anything against a Rolex. But I do see a massive amount of manipulation in the watch industry. When it comes to Rolex and their ADs, Rolex are kings of marketing. I respect that. The ADs …. As another collectors said, tons going to the back door to the grey market. If there was true shortage then fine. But the reality is there is no shortage. It’s a game of chicken where the AD says no stock but the reality is tons of stock. Why do they do this? Because they want to make money by selling other “sacrifice” watches to reward the buyer after spend history requirements are achieved. The silly collectors do it often to just flip the Rolex again. This is why there are 9,000 “rare” Daytona’s for sale on c24. Check and see yourself.
We also know of the games played by many brands on the auction front. By brands and auction houses to give the illusion of demand. If I was a Rolex collector, I would look for rare neo vintage Rolexes low production numbers and special heritage. The ones one would buy at the AD today are nothing more than s factory produced tool watch. Buy it at MSRP if you like … It’s a factory produced … mass produced watch. So many are “getting the call” from ADs. They are in pain.
Anyway, I wish you well in your collecting journey.
Oh no the conspiracy theory. 😂
Oh, good God in heaven ... I am so-o-o-o-o-o sick of hearing about the Rolex "Pepsi." Can't you Rolex reviewers talk about any other models ... even once in awhile?
No because how many times have you seen a meteorite hit the earth
@@MandarKasture It isn't the meteorite dial I dislike.
Because it has been discontinued
Hands up who got one at retail 🙋🏻♂️😆
Bruh, don't flex on us
@@michele_ FOMO is strong with these things isn't it. before I got mine I thought about it everyday for about 3 years. don't worry, your AD will come through eventually!
Lucky you. Still waiting for mine, but the new Daytona (two-tone) hopefully comes first.
I buy a Pepsi at retail everyday 🥤
@@MandarKasture lol
From now on, any watch youtube video that has 'Rolex' in the title gets a 'thumbs down' from me. Stop it, we just don't give a damned about that brand.
I agree with you, comment on other TH-camrs pages, they chuck out content with that name in the title daily/weekly.
The meteorite dial is ugly. I'm sorry. With respect to why you won't get a GMT from an AD, they are all sold to famous people, rich prior customers, or out the back door to gray market dealers. Rolex could make more of these popular models, but doesn't because they want to feed the hype. Don't believe any other explanation. You're being played. Boycott Rolex. They don't deserve your business.
Conspiracy theory BS
@@alexxo7546 I have an MBA in Marketing from Wharton. I understand business. Where's your MBA from?
@@Nordic_Sky You say MBA like they aren’t two a penny, and if that ‘analysis’ of the world’s most successful watch company is what you gained from it you’ve been short-changed.
@@alexxo7546 OMG you're hilarious.
This fall you will be looking for food. Hard to eat a watch.... I will pass on that waste of money!!!
It’s just been discontinued
i could buy five of them tomorrow, the flippers are full of them. 😂. a simple search shows many.
And pay $$$ over retail! You want to do that you can buy anything

The video is about Rolex. What else should I call it for u not to be offended 😂
