    A few things... 👨🏻
    1. I'm super excited that Brand Battle is back.
    2. Yes, I have a moustache. I'm going with it for a bit. There's no point in getting complacent with my facial hair. It's there to experiment with.
    3. Leave your product suggestions below!

    My BBA Clay has arrived today, just tried it this evening (first time using a clay for me).
    What can I say... Amazing! Nothing comparable to the old paste I used, the results are perfect, much better than I could ever expect! Thanks Robin for letting me discover these products!

    Battle of your favorite two "soft clays," as opposed to the traditional heavier clays like these. For guys with thick hair on the longer-side, its quite difficult to maintain volume with heavy clays weighing your hair down.
    Excited to see the series back Robin!

    Thank you, Robin! Loved hearing what you had to say about Lockhart's Matte Clay. One of my favorite products, however the only draw back is the slight shiny finish.

    • @ManForHimself
      @ManForHimself  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely, Peep! I kinda like it though.

    • @Siberius-
      @Siberius- 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's what I have been pondering.. I want matte finish but not sure how much shine Lockhart's has in comparison to Hanz de fuko is my other option.
      What makes this more tricky is that seemingly every other reviewer absolutely drenches their hair in product... Robin is pretty much the only safe haven with reviews on all these products. They put a matte product in their hair but because they used SOOOO fucking much of it.. it's really wet and shiny either way.

    Hey Robin! I have to admit that in spite of the fact that I haven't been commenting on your videos for the last 2 months I haven't missed a single one which, I have to say, they improved in terms of the quality and diversity of content. Nevertheless I cannot express in a few words how excited I am that Brand Battle series are back, especially if you are going to do this in relation to skincare products or clothes apart from hair products. Keep it up Robin and hope your channel will be able to grow exponential to the hard work that you are investing in doing your videos! ;) Btw MM Treatment Balm v Patricks M3 would be an amazing 'premium products brand battle'

    Hey Robin, I have fine, flat, frizzy hair and I had a few question.
    Can I use a thickening tonic, mousse, and leave-in conditioner all at the same time for my pre-styling?
    If so, do I cocktail them together then apply or do I layer them?
    If I layer them then in what order? Do I blow dry only once at the very end or periodically after each product?
    If I don’t have to use all of them, which ones can I get away with?
    Sorry for the barrage of questions but I’m just a bit frustrated with my hair at the moment and any help is greatly appreciated!

    • @ManForHimself
      @ManForHimself  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ahh... so much in one comment.
      I wouldn't do all.
      Leave in conditioner and one other - either mousse or thickening tonic.
      Do leave in first and let it work first, then with a hair dryer and one of the other.s

    1.which is better for a tall, volumistic hairstyle
    pomade or clay? (I use vo5 matte clay)

    Thanks Robin, truely loving the channel at the moment

    • @ManForHimself
      @ManForHimself  7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Robin. i find that your hair is extremly thin and fine. Do your hair falling out of your scalp when you wash your hair? i have thin hair but the density is much more than you. i wonder if i lose kinda 20 strands each time i shampoo will result in significant change on my hair? hope to have your answer. i'm so nervous

    • @charlesgregory6016

    • @Siberius-
      @Siberius- 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You naturally lose about 50 to 100 hairs a day. Others grow back to full length by the time more come out. It's a sustainable cycle. 20 hairs is nothin'.

    Please robin, make a brand battle of products that are great in all type of hair, the clays are best for thin hair and not everybody has it. Keep it up man !!

      Antonio Sierra but look he cant do it on his hair... look on "the pomp" channel.

    • @antoniosierra5595
      @antoniosierra5595 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man! But my theory is that the hair of the pomp guy is too long, so he can use all type of products. I haven't thin hair, so I'm looking for great "not thin" products

    how about pomade tournament? viewer's pick top 16?

    • @ManForHimself
      @ManForHimself  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Could do... It might get complicated and not all of them can be compared.
      How would it work?

    • @jasonloch8104
      @jasonloch8104 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      viewers pick top 16 ...or 8. make it a mini series. first 2-3 weeks round one. pending on how many you decide in the tournament and how much time you have for review/editing the videos. points will be just like you are doing now in battle....but add a viewer point which will count as 2?
