In fact high end fidelity is dependent on 3 factors: 50% room acoustics 40% loudspeakers 10% or even less, audio equipment 0,01% cables, etc Without good acoustic properties of the listenening room (frequencies in balance, standing wave eliminated and getting rid of flutterechoes) ANY high end system, regardless of price, will sound horrible! Thats why most high end shows are a bad representation to show high end equipment, bcoz only a few have really take order to the acoustic environment, i.e. optimize the acoustic behaviour of the listening rooms.
What's impressive about this specific video is how the treble and overall sound remains stable in all but the most extreme positions of the room. Seems like the latest DDC tech is working correctly, yes?
The sound quality was so bad that everyone had to get the hella outta that room - thats why all the seats are empty . (aside: is that supposed to be music ??????1???)

Ear Paining no bass and fatiguing sound
I heard these at Munich last year. They had some of the deepest, most textured, physical bass ive ever heard. It was incredible.
Totally agree - modern speakers designed in a lab, no one even took a listen before they signed them off for series production.....
