Just starting my journey. I'm a mom of 5, just got into a car accident. Thank the Lord that only I was in the car 😢, because I was T-boned and the person was going full speed so I spun and flipped with my windows down. And thank the Lord I only came out with just some pain and bruises... So while I'm stuck here in bed, I've started doing some mini twists. It's hard to reach up, but I'm so excited and you've inspired me to finally take the leap after contemplating for about 15 years 😂.
@@FLAWEDANDFOCUSED He is the only reason I survived with no major injuries and I thank him every day. Thank you, sis. And yay!! I'm so excited for you! I just know we're gonna love this journey 💖
I'm a year into my loc journey and was feeling really discouraged, even considering taking them out, but then I came across your video and it inspired me. Thank you 🙏🏾
Congratulations on your 4 year locversary 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I got motivated by you to get microlocs and I'm obsessed!!! I'm 2 years 5 months in with 262 locs. I get my hair reties every 6 weeks by my loctician, it takes about an hour.I'm from Trinidad ❤ Please do some more styles on here thanks much.
Your hair is beautiful❤ No! It's not just you. 2 years locd next month. My hair is growing like crazy, the more I leave it the more it grows. I'm at collar bone when stretched ❤❤❤❤ love it!
Hey Keke you just gone keep making these retie vids until I give in and do my own huh lol, now I wanna see your setup for doing the back and I also wanna know that skincare routine because you’re glowing and I like it 😂😂
Love your video! Your locs are beautiful 😍. I’m going on 3 years this coming January. I get my microlocs retighten every 6-7 weeks and my stylist does them for me. Best decision ever!
OMG your locs are beautiful 😍. I remember when you restarted your journey with these. You encouraged me to start mine almost 3 years (in December). Can't wait to get to your length.
Beautiful locs! I'm almost 2 years into my journey but just started doing my own reties a few months ago. I'm able to stretch to about 6 weeks before needing a retie. I've done 3 and 4 point rotations but you might have just sold me on the 2 point!
Beautiful and so neat! I love watching your videos! I usually do a 4 point rotation but if I can achieve this look with a 2 point I might need to reconsider! Anyone switch from 4 to 2? Thoughts?
I absolutely love your hair!!! I just started my own in June and I have retied them twice so far. I wanted to know if it's possible for you to share a close up on your next retie of how you twist the hair around... that part I can't figure out and my hair looks frizzy cause I don't know what to do with the new growth 🤦🏾♀️ thanks for sharing your process with us!
I loveeee your videos. I love must that you are constant and know what you want when it comes to your locs. Plus, I am also a photographer from the Caribbean Trinidad and Tobago. Keep up your profesiona and your professional videos.
Noooo I’ve been using the twist and paste since your first video with it . I don’t use anything else . I’ll definitely be waiting for the review of the rebrand 😭
So were you always moisturizing your hair or did you wait until your locs fully matured? Also how do you fix damaged microlocs? Like bulging or knots per say
I experienced that too, the less I did the more rampant the growth. Like minimum product and styles, my hair would be growing like vines. I would just use almond oil once mainly on the shaft after a good wash mist with rose water throughout the week wash once every week and half. Started giving my scalp massages while sitting upside down on the bed to for more blood circulation. Started doing what my hair and scalped liked rather what "I thought it liked". If the aim is growth, similar to plants stick to what works for you and it will grow like weeds.
So happy this video popped up. I’m really considering getting micro locs but the cost of having them done is steep 😮💨 Did you do yours yourself? Also, thank you for the product drops because I need something for my scalp asap lol.
I retie every 6 weeks, self retie, and it took me 34 hours, using the 4 point rotation. This was my third retie. My first retie took the same amount of time. 🤦🏾♀️ My second retie was 4 weeks post and took me 18 hours. So either I need to retie every 4 weeks or change my rotation. I'm going to try the 3 point rotation next and maybe the 2 point.
Hey Keke, I love your locs. I was wondering why your not explaining to new DIY LOC STARTERS, that when you start on your 1st. retie, you should always end ALL of your rotations at north to south or top to bottom so that when you to start your 2nd retie and so on, you don't have to feel in your locs where the hole is! You'll always just start your locking tool going from east to west or left to right EVERY TIME you do your touch-ups....😅
So I was going to someone but I noticed she was not really caring for my hair. I just noticed some are braided smh. Anyway so I just want to begin doing it myself. Hence me hunting down your videos so I can do it. Wish me luck
Your locs are getting so long so fast. Maybe my perception is skewed because I've been binging your videos.😂😂😂 They look gorgeous and healthy. Someone needs to pay you to be the face/head of their loc product. I just retired my edges only. I'm getting so much slippage there☹️ doesn't help that I'm a semi aquatic creature by nature. All the pool time is coming at a price.
Omg you’re too sweet! Thank youuu! That would be so dope lol I’m sure the slippage will stop soon, sometimes it takes a little time. But don’t let that hold you back for that pool! ❤

Thank you so much! ❤
I love the size of your locs! A healthy size! Not too small, but perfect, healthy and thick! 😍😍😍
I self-retie every 12 weeks but I’m about to start doing every 8 weeks. The way my locs start to marry from all the new growth is insane.

Beautiful! I always thought that I'd need a 4-point turn to get locs as compact, now I have to do more research before I install.
Noooo I’ve been using the twist and paste since your first video with it . I don’t use anything else . I’ll definitely be waiting for the review of the rebrand 😭
@KekeJ Your microlocs are stunning and truly flourishing! Do you still do and take appointments for installing microlocs?
Mine are a year and 2 months old. I get a retie every 6 weeks❤
I love your hair ❤
Kee kee please find us another twisting paste. I hate that stuff is discontinued I ran out months ago and caught the devil trying to order more.
Do you still do micro loc installation? I was on your website but the bookings are closed and I would love if you could help me start my journey.
How do you keep the patience to do your whole head??? I remember when you just started, they are beautiful. I have small traditional locs.
So were you always moisturizing your hair or did you wait until your locs fully matured? Also how do you fix damaged microlocs? Like bulging or knots per say
They did come out with a different paste but it’s the same just different color and other healthy stuff
Can we get another style update with microlocs different and new styles you do with your hair
So beautiful I’m almost 2 years loc I wish I could retighten my arms won’t allow it
You got me on the avocado twist but the other one is the same consistency and is just as good❤
I havé mine 1 year and 6 monds but my hair is dry and my scalp is greasy.
Do you havé Some tips for me please

How are you seeing the back of your head? I'm struggling. Also do the length shortens after the retie? Trying to be sure I'm doing this correctly.
Get a three-way mirror.
Heeeeey sis it’s a long time since I’ve been on. Hair looks great
Hey sis! Welcome back! 🫶🏾 and Tysm ❤
You might have answered this but does that paste cause flakes or build up

I could never find that paste using your link. I guess it might've been discontinued 😮💨
Yes! They seem to discontinue or replaced it because I loved that paste. Stay blessed and continue the loc journey ❤
