The HUGE difference between Domio's/Pizzahut and the NY pizza is that crust. Throw good toppings on to a bad crust and it just doesn't work. Put just sauce on a great crust and it will still taste amazing, beyond what those chain stores call pizza.
So when do you suggest people should stop coming in and support your job? Half an hour before? One hour before? I reckon the owner thinks differently. You're there to work not for leisure.

Pizza pie was and is Italian, as we in America know it. Pretty much a peasant creation. The crust is the thing. Second is good extra virgin cold pressed olive oil. Add to it what you will. A crappy, tasteless crust will ruin it. Whoever can make good crusty bread can throw together a good pizza pie.

I've been going to DiFara since 1969. Not only the absolute BEST, but Dom and his kids are awesome!! That was Maggie cutting the pie. Now, I live in CT and my kids heard my stories of DiFara and the build up and when I finally took them, they agreed, it is the best pizza. Period. nice video! Looking at my schedule when I can make the 2 hour drive...
