He's not allowed to stop blowing the horn until the head locomotive is clear of the last grade crossing. You can see there's one more street to cross right as he finishes up.
Jaw Tooth, as always you don't let us down, I've never seen a diamond like this in the roadway, AND dang he likes to hang on that horn. Very cool video.
Any railfan drivers at the crossing were probably delighted to see and hear the long train crossing the diamond. That is a rare diamond location. There used to be a middle-of-the-street diamond in the Westport section of Baltimore many years ago. The double tracked mainline of the Western Maryland Railway coming out of Port Covington crossed a B&O industrial track in the middle of Kloman St. Movements on the B&O Kloman St. spur were controlled by WM-style block signals mounted on the street edge each side of the WM tracks. I rode WM excursion trains across the diamond but never caught any switching activities on the B&O spur. That whole area changed when the WM yard was torn up after being absorbed into CSX, the old B&O industrial track was removed, and the Baltimore Light Rail line running to Glen Burnie was built where Kloman St. used to be.
MrJawtooth, if that sulfur train smelled that bad just rolling by, just imagine what the gals n guys that load that stuff go through. No I must say I haven't seen a diamond in the middle of the street, but how cool was that. Great video. I have smelled a hot asphalt train, that was bad enough.
The sound of those bogies hitting the diamond carries for miles. When I was a kid in East London you could hear wagons being shunted at Temple Mills marshalling yard for miles.(lot less traffic noise in those days) Love that noise. Nice one JT, thank you sir.
Wow, That's unique! And the Amtrak cuts across like smooth butter lol! Gag a maggot had me cutting up with laughter! The last time I heard of that term was several years ago at my FORMER employer when my manager said it often Ha! Nice video! Thanks for sharing! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Awesome video in Florida Sunshine State outside Lakeland Florida near Tampa Florida CSX frieght train loud horn keep up the good work jaw tooth bless you new videos Florida
Its weird that they decided to add a railroad track diamond on a 4 lane highway, but i love it. Bravo! To this idea and to you Jaw Tooth for capturing this.
Hello, JT! Yet another great video, thanks! You're there in that store to get Fruity pebbles cereal, yet you're in the liquor aisle! Cereal does go better with alcohol rather than milk!!! 👌👌👌👍👍😁😁😁😂😂🤣🤣
Well Mr. Jaw here you are in 2020 nice sunny winter day and here I sit in Indiana Feb. 2021 waiting on 3 to 7 inches of snow tonight. Keep those trains running...
Been there several times, I recommend Carter's Barbeque north of the diamond to Canal Street and go east (turn right) Carter's Barbeque is on the right almost a half mile.
You arrive at the best places to video trains Jaw Tooth! The Diamond Crossings are definitely a neat spectacle to trains. Awesome job yet again and on your next video give a shout out to "Shawn in Delmar Delaware " lol. I'm one of your BIGGEST FANS!
*MONDAY MAY 25 2020 12:16 PM CDT* Wow Jaw Tooth!! The first train was a l-o-o-n-ng train, with just 2 locomotives pulling it! That is pretty impressive! You're a great guy! 😊 👍 ⚠ Stay safe out there folks, during this COVID-19 crisis, you to Jaw Tooth. 😷 Tony 59-year-old Air Force VET 🇺🇸✈
I used to watch this guy called Millenium force in Florida. He has captured some interesting stuff too, especially street running freight trains in downtown Tampa !
There are phosphate trains that come from CSX that run on the BNSF sub in my area. Just got one a week or 2 ago. Kind of sad seeing the fallen flag hoppers rusting away, CNW, Rock Island, Milwaukee Road, Rio Grande, etc. Some of the CP potash trains have the older hoppers like the first train.
And just exactly what type of “fruity pebbles” come in bottles at the liquor store? If you have enough of that “breakfast drink” you won’t see the tracks, the diamond, the road.....LOL! Great “Live Action” as always!!
I work for UP (Chicago Service Unit ) as a conductor...i had to be a road conductor for a few days and i had to go to Clinton,Ia. How we know we're in Clinton? The soybean plant and corn processing plant. It smells like 52 butt cracks with the fan on.😂😂😂😂
That's very interesting. I never realized until I saw this video that there was such a big phosphate industry in Florida. When I was a big, burly truck driver (well, not so burly!) I used to go to a Cargil Plant in Tampa (according to what I can find, it's now The Mosaic Company) and pick up loads of fertalizer-type bags and take it to Laredo, TX. It was a good, easy, long run (nice when you get paid by the mile). So I learned something today. I thought FL was just a sand bar until today. :) According to the reporting marks in Wikipedia, CPDX is Chevron. It doesn't list a SUJX - Greg in TN
Smitty SF-3751 Well I opened the video and guess what, it's raining ( light ), You are blessed. Never saw a diamond like that before and I even chased trains in Turkey. Looks like you had a great trip, keep warm, it will be at least 72 degrees here in Marana, AZ.

Awesome Florida stink train action on interlocking diamond, live and I believe this one was filmed on location, not reanimated at the JT film production lots
That was neat to see!! Good job 👍
Obviously this isn't a "no horn" zone! He was really leaning on it.
He's not allowed to stop blowing the horn until the head locomotive is clear of the last grade crossing. You can see there's one more street to cross right as he finishes up.
Just amazing how your fine all this odd stuff ...... Great job again
I look at Google Maps to find places to film. Thanks for watching!
How cool I've never seen a diamond in middle of the road like that. Very cool video Jawtooth! 👍👍👍
Its the only one that I know of
I've never seen a railway diamond period. Double cool!

That is so cool! I've never seen anything like it before. That's a long, loud, slow train, and I loved every minute of it!
Florida is an awesome place for train watching. I used to visit there and spent many days surfing Sebastian inlet and watching FEC trains.
I love that you don't talk over the sound of the train as it goes over the diamond. Magical train sounds. Best stuff ever.

I love the dimand of the railway crossing

A train trucks that hit the diamond is a good sounds too. Great catch
Thanks!
The diamond there has rare Y pattern signals! Awesome!
Definitely one of the more unique crossings in America
I believe this video is between the weirdest and the coolest one.
You always seem to locate some of the most fascinating railway oddities. Truly a diamond IN the rough..GREAT work as usual sir.
Thats pretty cool never see that before and I been in Florida all my life awsome catch there
Just wanted to say thanks, I really enjoy watching your videos!

Wow that is so cool a diamond railroad crossing with tracks connected to each other amazing thumbs up👍
It has to be rare being in the middle of a busy highway
@@JawTooth Kudos to that man you make the best videos ever
That first loco bounced up when going over the diamond.
Jaw Tooth that was a crasy railroadcrossing in the middel of a Highway. Thumb ups.
Uuuggghhh those phosphate cars are all rust buckets good video
I'd hate to be stuck waiting on the phosphate train needing the restroom :)
Very Nice !!!!
I love the sound of those wheels doing the conga bongo over the diamond. I will set that as my new ring tone.
Wow replacing that diamond would be a major project with it being in the road like that. Excellent video JT👍🏼😎
Thanks 👍
Wow a diamond in the middle of the road, awesome.

would love you to have gotten closer to the diamond when the first train passed by
Just imagine if a train would suddenly derail on that diamond. That would be one hell of a mess.
Eh just push it back onto the tracks if it derailed specifically on the road parts of the track
Hmmm, indeed. Sure hope that doesn't happen in the future
I wonder how many vehicles have got stuck in that diamond when they were not looking at where they were going. It's certainly a cool video.
very interesting railroad crossing

Certainly has some old vet cars on that first train. Noticed a couple had old Penn Central green, which would make them 40 years old probably older.
