  • The past month I have explored the reefs, catching many Kob.
I had a bunch of footage and snippets of catches that I added together with a small bait demonstration of how I have taken what I learned from other guys do and tweaked it to a way that suits my needs.
Some intense conditions but always a laugh and keeps me coming back for more.
    I hope you enjoy.
    TACKLE USED:
    Rod: Daiwa Saltist 13'6
    Reel: Penn Slammer 6500

Hey very niiice video, just a question. What happens should the chokka get bitten off along with the float? Will this not be a problem for the digestive system of the fish? Just want to know for the safety should one wish to practice catch and release for the sake of the species.
    Many thanks bru🤙

Hi there, I must be honest Iv never had it happen, the fish always gets hooked in the side and the float comes back, but I understand your point and I think I want to explore a fish safer option, thanks for bringing it up!

They have the ability to regurgitate what they have eaten. Shad often do it when hooked. Cob don't take small bites they swallow the bait.
