Catching BIG Kob on a small SANDBANK! Not expecting this...

- KOBTOBER is finally here!
Today we put in the hardyards early morning after some Winter fish, knowing that Kobtober is around the corner, we took out Sandprawn, Whitemussel, Bloodworm and wonderworm but we didn't expect a fish like this. This is the biggest Kob, no, the biggest edible fish iv'e ever seen caught around here.
Lets hope this is going to be a Summer season to remember!
The 107cm Kob could not resist a fresh bloodworm, perfectly presented and placed on a small sandbank. Using his Berkley Anaconda L and Penn Slammer 5500, what a combo to target these fish. He used a Size 1 Landit Baitholder hook to land the fish.
In this video Lian shows his bloodworm bait presentation and shortly after his rod went..... by the looks of it, we thought it might have been a spotted Gully shark....but what a supprize!

Nice fish boys, just try and tag your fish on a wet mat pls, and limit the time out the water, sand removes the protective layer of slime over the scales
Great stuff buddy good to see cob's are here early. GB has produce some big shad as well the biggest being just under 5.5 kg. With lots of just size cob and plenty undersized ones on the reefs in strand. Lovely video. Be safe and God bless 🙏

Hey guys from Australia we here have Mulloway same as cob which we catch on beach worms but the big blood worm things you guys caught with wire we also have creature the same where we find on our yabby beds and you see like cleary yellow tail how do you catch cheers

I like the Winn grip..it makes the rod thinner. But nothing wrong with the berkley sensor grip.. it was actually a birthday present to custom my grip and put a bionic finger on
