We have them up here in the U.S. and while I've not seen one yet, (a girl can dream) I know they are EVERYWHERE in Florida and a majority of the southern states. However, this guy here was found in Peru, which is not Australia or the U.S. New species keep popping out like popcorn down there, and it would not surprise me if more are discovered in the next week! Biology is beautiful that way. :)

Well! I FOUND IT FIRST ABOUT 23 YEARS AGO. I know I don't have proof, but I remember clearly when I pull it out as I try to find worm for fishing. Found it in Southeast Asia.

Now the only question's what to do with the thing...I'd be so worried about it, like, letting it go back into the wild where it'd come from like I can't help but to picture the second whoever releases it and they turn their back walking away soon as it's out of eye and earshot, some predator or hungry bird swoops down scooping it up and devouring it. But to try to keep it just in captivity is nearly as problematic, and just as devastating. It's almost kind of like, if someone's real adamant trying to talk you into wrestlin' them, perhaps even bullyin' you, to try to get you to do so, but the person wanting to wrestle has brittle bone disease or an equally, potentially hazardous, condition, with you being well aware that they have it... Yea, just like that! LmMFaO!!! ;) :P :o)
Imteresting! My parentes are from chile but im born and raised in europe. But I remember my trivs back to chile around the Valparaiso area. I always asked if there are venomus snakes nor insects.. ive was always tolv that there is just this one tiny spider (Araña del rincon) that could kill you, and that the only snake in that area was a small as a big worm. I Wonder how many people around the world have seen or known animals they are not aware of what animals are registered and what animals are not?
I caught a blind snake as a wee lad in the Mojave desert in California. It was probably the rarest reptile I’ve ever encountered out here given their subterranean nature

I have encountered this type of snake in my grandmother's home once, literally same like this. I thought it was earthworm but it was acting like snake just like in this video. Wow, by the way i am from India, Karnataka
