Shane is a great guy and very generous. Beautiful watch and yes I noticed in beginning before you mentioned the second hand and yes it bothers me! I feel they should of went without seconds hand like they mostly do anyway! I have no issues buying a women's smaller watch,, 36mm fine since its vintage style. Great review my Brother! I have another version of the same watch...it is sposed to be a limited edition..Movado doesn't advertise very much in the traditional sense period..their market focuses on repeat buyers....the face is cream and other features are navy blue. It is beautiful.

Setting the moon phase is a pain but being a quartz, you set it and forget it. Imagine automatics and letting them power down. That’s my argument FOR watch winders.
Looks like a really classy piece, the fact that it doesn't the markers used to bother me, but my Hamilton does it and I'm slowly learning to deal with it. The 36mm sounds quite perfect too. Great job with the review.
Grand seiko quarts supposedly hit the mark every time. Don’t get me started on Movado bro. I did an older video going off on Movado because they burned me big time and I still got beef with this brand to this day
Very nice looking watch. Very surprised at the size of case, definitely wears bigger based on your wrist but my guess is at a 7.5 inch wrist for me it would be a mite small for my wrist. Movado seems to get quite a bit of hate for some reason, haven’t had any experience with them myself. I’ve said this before, on Steve channel I believe....if a quartz movement hits the markers that’s good, if it doesn’t, I don’t even care too much. A ticking seconds hand on a quartz isn’t anything I even look at when I look at a quartz not like a sweep on an auto. Great review as always m8!
Nice looking piece definitely looks like it wears bigger than 36mm that seconds hand missing the marks seems to be something that a few Swiss brands struggle with not just Movado guess they should take some pointers from Casio!! 😁

I thought the Celestograf was a 'Womens Watch" and the Larger case (43mm) CalendoGraph was the Mens, Im not going to lie I do Like the Moonphase comp wish it it was on the Larger Dial. If this was in 40mm to 44mm I'd buy it in a Heartbeat and wear it (Panda and Reverse Panda would be Great)
I read an article about the sapphire crystal test, and apparently if a crystal has a very weak sapphire signal, it may only be sapphire coated. The only way to test it would be to take a level 7 mohs pick and try to scratch it. If it doesn't scratch, it's real crystal! I don't suggest you doing it to Shane's watch!! Example, Apple say the camera on the iPhone has a sapphire glass protector, but it scratches at a level 7, so it's not sapphire, it's coated. Ok, this test you did doesn't mean it's not crystal but you can find out for sure! If Shane tries it himself and he scratches it with a 7......he could sue Movado! Honestly, and not to disrespect Shane's watch, this is an overpriced fashion watch with a cheap quartz movement. It doesn't matter if it's Chinese, US, Japanese, or Swiss, quartz movements cost a couple of dollars, particularly that low beat movement on this. A Swiss quartz is exactly the same technology as a Chinese quartz. If it had been a high beat movement like the Seiko one (4 ticks per second), it would look slightly better and it wouldn't miss the markers. I'm pretty happy with not finding this watch. I will definitely not be looking in the ladies section to find it. I am sorry, it's just a personal opinion. If you had told me this was a $50 Ali Express, I would have believed you.

By the way I was surprised when you said this is marketed as a ladies watch! Didn't realize that! I would wear this piece but then again I am part of the #ladywwristgang 😂
The movement is rubbish. Most likely Ronda and it does not come even close to Ebel in house quartz movement. They own Ebel but save money buying cheap off shelf movements from Ronda.

Agreed. Minus the hand missing the markers this is an excellent watch for the price you can get these at now.
My 30 year old TAG quartz still hits the marks. I may end up having the hand re-installed correctly 😬

Doesn’t say “Swiss Made”. Anyone know what change(s) caused this? Are these assembled elsewhere? Or, is it merely the sourcing of parts?
Heritage is Swiss parts but assembled in China or some other Asian country
