  • I get it. We're supposed to always be the "Good Samaritan" no matter what is happening in life. But sometimes man it gets heavy. When do we get some rest? In this video I'll be looking at what it means to be selfish and how that mindset can actually be useful without going against our beliefs.

Good video, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I do not have a problem with saying "no" like I used to, I am really good with standing up for what I want now, but I still have a people pleasing mindset. I won't speak my mind when I really should because I don't want to offend someone or something like that. It's another side of this issue that I think should be considered.

Ooooo that's a really good point. Not wanting to be offensive is definitely a real thing. I guess in that case it's more about are you willing to let yourself be offended/hurt to protect someone else's feelings? That's some good food for thought. I appreciate it!💯

Interesting thoughts man. I go back and forth on this because the more I do for others, the better life goes for me, but it does lead to more burnout eventually. I guess I'm still trying to find balance. I liked what you said about saying no when you can't do something. Time is limited and thats okay. Thanks for your insights

Yea man it's all about finding the balance that works for you. I'm still figuring out myself lol but I'm much better than I was. This is something that I think needs to be talked about more
