What about sleep? My experience with exercise, nutrition and sleep is that exercise is important but not to be dwelled upon(just do something, run lift swim bike whatever) but very important is sleep and rest after and consistently and a close second is nutrition ( only to stress about it if you are going for low fat procentage, you are trying to loose weight fast or gain muscle fast).
Why can't we find Doctors like this in the real world? In my experience, as soon as you bring information like this to most primary care doctors, it's like you are speaking a completely different language. Thankful for these two, I have learned so much from both of them ever since they went on JRE.
Please advise what doctor can do this for me. If I go to my primary care provider he's not going to acknowledge this at all. Again I love and appreciate this channel.
Peter Attia talks to million of viewers about the thoughtful ways he manages testosterone levels, why it is good, why it is safe the way he does it, and so on, but then Peter doesn't seem to see the connection to why TRT clinics are so popular. It'd be nice if all these podcasters with large audiences would acknowledge how they are driving the modern interest in TRT, especially since they also think those TRT clinics are terrible!
My mother was a nurse and later, a course coordinator at a top University for the nursing. She explained to me during my depression, that GPs are essentially trained to aim at medication solutions for your health problems. They are not so much general health professionals as assessors and highly educated medication prescribers. That and general restrictions to obvious things like bad food, alcohol and smoking. My GP is great, but he thinks being over 170lbs at 6ft for a guy of 30 isn't good, and when I said what about putting on muscle, aiming for 190 lean, he said that was unnecessary and not healthy. He is also in his late 60s, so.
And the numbers show that. Also thanks to Rich Roll for being one of the first to invite him to speak on a podcast. Dr Huberman’s growth on social media is one of the few that are well deserved.
Please please please do a full podcast on peri-menopause and menopause... Dr Lisa Mosconi is doing some amazing work on the impact of menopause and it's impact in the brain... we need a Huberman deep-dive on this area... please!
These podcasts make highway driving a breeze. It’s weird arriving to a place with a fresh 2 hours of knowledge. I never seem to arrive at a place where folks want to hear about science and health, though haha
Dr. Peter Attia, MD, hit the nail on the head when talking about biggest screw-up in the medical field of all time- the Women’s Health Initiative debacle! Amen! Thank you for recognizing this.
Dr. Attia, I don't know what is the most valuable part of this conversation. I very much appreciate the wealth of information about physical health, but your openness about your struggle with emotional health... I don't have the right words to express how deeply I felt that. I'm going through a difficult time in life on a few levels right now (physical and emotional), which is how I found this specific episode. Thank you for sharing so much and for providing some signposts I can consider as I navigate my situation. Hoping to buy and read your book soon, but I'm going to knock out one of the books I'm reading right now first... Thanks again. Profoundly.
Cathy Stanczak - yah, it grabbed me too🤯 Either way he's using 'gravity'....whether in the context of 'gravity' to mean extreme seriousness, OR as a metaphor for a rapid & significant free-fall (decline) at some point... - taken either way - and...yikes!😳
@@barbarafairbanks4578 remember too Gravity, like the force. a constant posture adversary. Postural position is crucial to overall blood flow which carries the regenerative properties in our blood.
@@aninterestingconversation thanks...something to think about. 🤔 I try to counteract it by spending 20min - head down, feet up on my slanted weight bench...cooling off after my run. As far as posture, do you think bent over laterals to strengthen the rhomboids are enough? (I do those too)...or is something more needed for posture? About 'gravity'...yah I was making that distinction, initially... gravity as a force (which he could have meant) vs. gravity, as in a grave situation. I do think he meant the latter. What do you think? Either way, it was probably one of the most profound phrases about our mortality I've come across. Only topper, for me, would be 'memento mori'😳
As a 60 year old woman this is the best program I've viewed on TH-cam. Peter Attia is a bad dude. You two are the only reason I would view a YT video for 3hrs. That was AMAZING!
PLEASE make a clip of the piece on women’s hormones for your TH-cam clips page. I need to share that portion with every woman and doctor I know. The part about progesterone could literally save women’s relationships, careers and even their lives. I did my own research recently at 42 because my endocrinologist, OBGYN and primary pretty much said my symptoms are normal hormonal age related stuff. Just last week I got my own lab work done on day 20 of cycle and found that my progesterone was at absolute post menopausal levels and I haven’t had menopause yet. They immediately put me on progesterone RX and apologized for not listening. I know other women my age suffering and possibly unnecessarily because doctors and society have taught us that feeling crazy anxiety at times of the month are normal.
I can’t agree more. I started peri symptoms around 37. Had blood work done. And because I was within “normal” range, no one wanted to do anything about it. I got to the point where I was experiencing hot flashes and missed periods and absolutely no hormone levels worth speaking about, before a Dr would do anything. I’ve been doing the bio-T pellets for 17 mths, and I’m still trying to get my Dr to find my correct dose. She did a blood panel before we started, and one about 6 wks after my first insertion. My testosterone was in the triple digits. She had 0 problem with letting me continue with that. I was trusting her to do another panel somewhere down the rd to see if I was leveling out. But, she didn’t. I started hair growth in places that I’ve never had before, and my libido was crazy. At the one yr mark from first insertion, I asked her if we should come down and she just wasn’t sure. I asked her to take it down. Then I had some break through bleeding. So we took estrogen down. Bleeding stopped. But had I not asked her, I’m certain I’d still be on that higher dose. It’s just not that important of an issue to most Drs. And that drives me crazy.
@@misharamage5529 my doctor won’t do pellets because it’s not easy to adjust and levels are going to change and need adjustment. I just do oral prescription.
@@misharamage5529 I’m surprised you weren’t under the care of the medical professional who inserted the pellets. They routinely measure your hormone levels. Glad you are on them. They are life changing.
I've never met a male doctor who knew so much about women's health let alone championed concerns like PMS and menopausal symptoms like Peter Attia. This conversation was eye opening, encouraging, and so clearly communicated. Thank you!
This was awesome! So I am 56 and on bioidentical estrogen, progesterone, testosterone and dhea. The estrogen is in a patch the rest are oral (troche). This therapy has changed my life. I had horrible brain fog, hot flashes, etc. when I did research on what happens to women going through menopause, I was horrified. Everything from cardiovascular to brain problems (which hot flashes are a symptom of. My general doctor told me that getting older sucks and there was nothing that could be done. I found a functional doctor who works with hormone replacement and life got better. This information needs to be discussed. Women need to know what treatments are out there. As it is, I’m looking at a future where I can stay viable in my career for longer.
Did you get tested by your primary care doctor or did you have to outsource and pay out of pocket? I've brought up these concerns to my doctor also with zero effort to address it. How do you get started on this path?
@@karlacarbajal6383 I started with a good functional doctor who works with me rather than against me. We work together on my health so it’s a partnership. The functional doctor (should have experience with hormones esp bio identical ones) will test your hormone levels and then compound everything but the estrogen. The estrogen will come in a transdermal patch. It’s important to take a cocktail of hormones. I’m on testosterone progesterone and dhea with the estrogen patch. My insurance covers the patch but not the compounded hormones. Unfortunately, you’ll pay out of pocket for the doctors visits but I feel it’s well worth it. Honestly, I hate my primary care doctor. She’s useless. My primary care doctor did the same thing about not addressing it. So I just took her out of the equation. I hope this makes sense.
I thought about your episode specifically on omega 3s. That doctor and Attias perspective has started to open my eyes to the fact that dietary cholesterol is not evil. Thanks for you’re work High Intensity Health!
Great information from 2 scientists I greatly admire and trust . Dr Attia I wish I could join your research program . I just turned 80 and exercice 4 times a week
Dear Andrew, bless your brilliant heart and thank you for listening to women's requests and bringing up female hormone therapy regarding perimenopause and the whole menopause process!!!
Dr. Attia said he would bring it to a close but he could speak for an hour on the problems with this study - I’d love to hear the hour, honestly. I’m 29 and coming on 30 is making me dig into the things I’ll need to know to advocate for my own health when that time comes. There’s a lot of very predatory, legal-grey-area outfits operating in the women’s health space that latch onto women not knowing. I saw a clip on tiktok that pushed me to find this podcast - had never watched before but this is all so important. Thanks for this.
Check out info by Dr. Avrum Blumimg ...a great YT video with a synopsis of his book (Oestrogen Matters) titled WHY Your Estrogen Matters: a conversationn between Alloy & Dr Avrum Bluming. *on the Alloy Women's Health Channel. Great, fact based info...
Awesome topic. My father in law whom passed away two years ago at age of 96 was active in whole life doing simple stretch exercise every day. His passing was even more interesting than his living. It only took one week in hospital and his long gave up. He went in total peace. I learned a lot from him. as 57 years old man with diabetes type 2 I keep myself active with walking, biking and after listening to you and Dr Attia add Bowflex to my arsenal. It’s amazing how strength training effects my blood sugar. It shows immediately on my CGM. Thanks all of you for bringing this valuable knowledge at zero cost to us. I personally appreciate it a lot.
Thank you Peter Attia and Andrew Huberman for the wealth of knowledge you have given freely in this podcast, amazing! Peter you are my hero i teĺl everyone who informative you are, keep doing what you doing we need more medical professionals like you.
Hi and thank you for this episode! As a 39 year old woman turning 40 this year and the info on hormones and changing hormones is super useful. I have always been active and want to continue being active for the rest of my life. I would love to see another episode specifically on women's hormones and neurology and activity. I want to hear more on the topic brought up briefly about dropping progesterone and emotions and what exactly is going on in the brain with that. And also what does it mean for exercise with the changes in hormones we experience every month. And finally, with menopause what do we need to do to stay active and healthy.
Seconding all of this! There are so many of us out here lost at sea trying to figure this out on our own. Specifically PMDD and its relationship to GABA functioning
My two favorite podcasters together -- such an embarrassment of riches! Thank you for sharing Dr. Attia's cutting edge approach with a broader audience -- this episode should be required listening for every practicing physician and every med school student!
I really liked this episode especially the part about women and hormones. I hadn’t slept well for 13 years until last October when I finally found someone to help me with bioidenticals. Fortunately they are covered under insurance, but often they aren’t. I know so many women who have suffered from that flawed Women’s Health Initiative back in the late 90’s. Thank you for helping us women. As we age, we tend to be forgotten.
Thank you for talking about menopause and hormones. There is a huge sector of the population struggling with this and desperately seeking information on how to manage this season of our lives.
LOVE this one and for me exercise is the most important part of my day. Begin with the end in mind. Aged 16 I was determined not to repeat my family history (type 1 and 2 diabetics, heart disease to name few.) Exercise has been my saviour, no supplements and no meds. Dance was my first love and then thirty two years of strength training, body weight exercises, (calisthenics after age 54) and now it's POLE dancing.
This is the best interview of Dr Peter Atia that I have ever seen and I have seen a few. Your questions made his advice so much more practical and suitable for people of many different ages. Thank you 😊
The part about statins and cholesterol is really not great. Minimizing side effects of statins and zeroing their cognitive side effects is unethical. Proposing to use them to increase longevity is a total nonsense.
Love this conversation! I am a male in my 40s and have a body of a 25year old. Been training TaekwonDo and progressed into other martial arts along with strength/prowerlifting, yoga, Isometrics plyometrics, calisthenics, while focusing heavily on perfection of nutrition and techniques. Full body from head to toe. Long term goal is to be the first 200year old male in modern times!
Thank you Dr Huberman, you provide us with such valuable information about lifestyle and health at no cost. I've applied many of your tools, teachings, and methods which have improved my mental and physical health in excellent ways. You've changed my awareness and life for the better in powerful ways, much respect, love, and gratitude 🙏
These podcasts are so valuable to those of us who don't have insurance or time to chase down consultation after consultation to simply learn how to live healthier. Thank you.
I love that you asked a question about young women on contraception, I am yet to find a podcast of this kind about womens contraception and the effect this has on the body, if you could cover this subject that would be amazing! I would love to know which is the safest option, supplements that would be useful to take while on birth control and if using an app to track your cycle is a viable contraceptive option. Also I have seen some recent papers suggesting being on birth control hinders muscle growth in females! I know this is a big subject not often talked about I would love to have your views on this as such a huge part of the population are on birth control for 5+ years of their life! Thankyou for your content it has helped me immensely!
Such a huge topic that everyone is simply not talking about. Women's birth control (most forms) have such massive detrimental effects on ladies health it's hard to quantify just how awful the side-effects truly are
It’s a tricky thing to talk about birth control’s negative side effects, but I’m sure the Hubs would do it right. That said, a book that has helped me navigate it all is Beyond the Pill. It at the very least pinpointed the hormonal imbalances I needed to work out. I can’t vouch for the entire book as I’ve kind of used it as a “choose your own adventure” book so far, but still. It is such a difficult thing to figure out and I’ve gone from feeling broken to having hope in figuring it out. Oh, and finding an ob gyn that listens to me has also helped tremendously.
This subject seems so important. There are so many concerns about the reactions some women have with BC. I’ve read the Fifth Vital sign, listened to a few different podcasts and have Taking Charge of Your Fertility on my shelf. It’s wonderful to go to for concerns and data. Thanks for bringing this up!!
@@LPurje I’ll have a look at getting that book Thankyou! As a 25 year old I’ve been on it since 18, prescribed my my doctor to help my skin as is the case for so many, for them to them come off after many years and get horrible side effects afterwards, adult acne being one of them!
Whoops, I had planned to haul a couple wheelbarrows of firewood to the house, bring a bag of grain to the barn and ride my horse for an hour. But instead I got hooked on watching these guys talking about exercise and have been sitting in a nice cozy chair by the fire. Tomorrow is my 85th birthday, so I’ll do my annual birthday hike and make some plans for my final decade.
I have to say I was very surprised at how well Andrew Huberman asked the questions. They made this episode digestible even for those new to the subject which I really appreciate since by watching a lot of Peter Attia's work I often find it very difficult to digest his deep knowledge. Really awesome work both of you! I love you share this knowledge, if everyone would do the same, our world would be totally different..
Shoutout to Huberman for always having his finger on the pulse in relevant health topics and acknowledging them. Genital sunning, sunscreen dangers, female birth control, etc. are all topics discussed on social media heavily but rarely acknowledged by health professionals/ scientists
Cannot express how much I am loving this episode, all of this information Dr Attia is sharing is so interesting and so helpful. I am a 45 year old woman and I started strength training (and HRT) a few years ago and I absolutely love it, I push myself at every session and my goal is to stay as fit and healthy as I possibly can until the day I die. I work out with a great group of women and I try to encourage all the women I know to do strength training, I also take brisk walks everyday with my dog, and go on hiking trips a few times a year. I wish I’d started strength training years ago but I was always scared of getting bulky and of course that hasn’t happened. Thank you for your interesting podcasts Andrew 🫶🏻🏋🏼♀️
Are you going through Dr. Attia? Whats his clinic called. I am starting HRT and I am going through core medical group. Its not full on TRT, but low HRT to try and kick start my T production. My T levels are low. 261. I would like to look around a little bit before I decide to use CMG for along time. It seems LIke Dr. Attia has a better understanding about it. Thank you
OMG I love to hear men talk about women especially there reproductive cycle it’s so beautiful👏👏👏… Thank you for talking about this highly probably most neglected topic that affects half the population!!! You guys are amazing my utmost respect to you!!! I’m sharing my journey to bring awareness and change how we go through this transformation ✨✨✨❤️❤️🙏🙏 THANK YOU!!
I could no sooner have started exercising than flown to the moon until I changed my diet and started taking lots of supplements, only then did I have the energy to even try. And yes, I'm listening to this while doing my 200+ minutes of exercise every week because of the changes I've made since starting your podcast. Don't discourage people from starting with whatever aspect of your advice that will get them on the path to health ❣️
Another great episode! Loved the time spent discussing women’s health. Looking forward to a future episode that dives deeper into where progesterone scepters are located in the brain. Just overall understanding the impact of the rise and decline of hormones throughout the follicular, luteal, ovulatory and menstrual phases. Along with protocols to balance those.
Sometimes i have to watch Dr. Attiia's podcasts twice, because he packs a lot of info in. He reminds me of really good doctors i had in Boston and Florida, one has gone into concierge service too. I was watching him and Dr. Patrick today while working, and it was amazing. She's so thorough with questions, it's like she's in your head, because she follows up with every question in my head. 😂 They're all pretty amazing.
“Bones matter”. Yes they do. Please consider doing a full episode on bone health. Nutrition, supplements, exercise, vibration plates (do they work?). Thank you!
Could you do a podcast on hearing health, alleviating deafness symptoms and optimizing general ear health? Would be super cool and also seems like an untouched area in this otherwise awesome podcast series!
I’ve only been watching your channel for about 3 weeks but it’s changed my whole routine and views. My father had a stroke 4 months ago and while stroke symptoms are extremely hard to heal sometimes never at all, he has felt better in many ways from the practices and healthy habits I have learned from your channel🙏♥️
Thank you for discussing womens hormones. I am in perimenopause right now and have so many horrible side effects. Womens health is really lacking. So many drs dont even recognize perimenopause.
It's baffling how some women breeze through it and I, like you have experienced major side effects. I discovered the estrogen patch, progesterone pills and testosterone cream life changing. It took days to be relieved of symtoms, especially the brain fog and sweats.
@@MS-sr1fe I started with the lowest dose and worked myself up to .05mgs. I switch it twice a week and find it works best on the lower abdomen. (Also, I tried the generic patch first and disliked it because it caused irritation and fell off) I use 100 mgs of progesterone pill, along with 5mgs a day of compounded testosterone.
@@bellakim9404 ty so much for the detailed answer. Generic means pharmaceutical?. So you use the bio identical pharmaceutical patch of oestrogen. My doc gave only .5 testosterone. Thank you once again .Tc
I've both watched and listened to this podcast to ensure I didn't miss anything important. It's like you and Dr Attia read my mind with this episode. I recently had a DEXA scan (and other tests) and found out my bone density is on the low side. Chronic asthmatic for decades (I'm 47) - with daily corticosteroid inhalers - and went through 3 yrs of daily low dose chemo ending in 2019 (which I've read can affect bone density). I was going to write to you asking for best route to improve/increase bone density/strength for longevity and you've just about covered it. Being father to an asthmatic too, some of the advice will be adopted immediately. Many thanks and keep up the great work! One very appreciative podcast regular.👏
You make me LOVE learning the science topics I hated in school because you make them meaningful and accessible. I have a notebook and I write down everything I learn from all your podcasts. The part about VLDL, APOB, etc.. I know how to read my blood work with meaningful insight now, and not just looking to see if I'm in the right range.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and the knowledge of others. More comprehensive information about menopause for women who have had hysterectomies, the effects, and bioidentical pellet therapy. Is pellet therapy a good option versus creams, patch, oral. Thank you so much.
Suggestion: Many people would beneffit from a podcast of yours on your thoughts and your peers thoughts on movement disorders, in particular essential tremor which affects much more people than Parkinson, for example, and, in the vast majority of cases, in much early ages than parkinsons being equally, if more painfull to live with having in mind the early symptoms and evolution of the disease. In case you read this, keep up with the outstanding work. People like you are the ones we need the most.
I can attest to Dr Kandel’s commitment to exercise and I had the incredible honor to be his private swim coach while I was a student at Columbia. I had forgotten about that until I listened to this amazing episode.
Andrew and Peter-I've watched many informative medical broadcasts and I would rate this as the best and most useful, most educational. Thanks so much to both of you for all you do for us. You are both a great blessing to our world.
I would love an episode or part of an episode on women’s health issues such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder which are really hard to get good information on - physicians often don’t know what to do with them or have good solutions and a significant percentage of the population have them! The message is often that we just have to live with the pain/dysfunction and to suck it up.
Thank you for sharing all your amazing informative podcasts, especially for this one on aging. I am 72 years old and, learning so much from your and your guests scientific knowledge, probably will get to live to 100 years old 😇
A very helpful episode for me as a woman who just turned 40 and has Turner Syndrome. I am sure this information is important for everyone though. I really like how calm and clear and humble you come across when interviewing. It makes it easier for me to take in the information. You and your guests know so much but do not come across as arrogant and knowing it all. That is not the case for some of the teachers and doctors I have had in my life. Thank you to you and your guest.
Hands down The best podcast i listened to answering all the questions about optimizing health, especially HRT and cholesterol. Thank you thank you to both of you!!!
The first time I listened to this was this past May '23. I was in my classroom playing this while trying to tie up loose ends for the year. I kept having to stop and rewind because something was said that I didn't get right away. Since then I've bought and read just the first chapter of Peter Attia's "Outlive" and this time, when I re-listen, it all makes sense. If you're watching any of Peter's stuff, get that book. It's very well written.
This podcast got me super stoked on learning more about medicine. I studied physics and was never all that interested in the topic but Attia's explanations are sort of infectious in that way
My favorite episode to date. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and for seeking out high-quality guests. Please consider an episode on post-menopausal brain and health. There are a lot of us out here.
I finally addressed my cholesterol issues, thanks to Dr. Attia, but now I found out that statins can cause cognitive problems if you have APOE4. Should I die from hearth failure or brain damage? My doc just brushed me off.
Hi Dr. Huberman! I noticed that many of the episodes you have focusing on health, wellness, diet/nutrition, exercise, and specifically hormones had men as the guests. As a woman who loves science and really enjoys your podcast, I would love to see an episode with a woman in STEM describing some of these insights from the female perspective (specifically relating to exercise/nutrition and most importantly hormones). I know you’ve done recent episodes on this already, but I’m hoping this is something you can consider in the future. I’m sure the men speaking to these topics aren’t biased and are distinguished in their fields, but its hard to be sure that their research/experience gives women an equal focus. Keep up the great work :)
Wow! Such great information especially regarding menopause. I felt blindsided when I experienced so many menopause symptoms & my GYN pretty much said she would talk to me about HRT once my symptoms were too much to handle. I was never told of the advantages of HRT. Only the risks (breast cancer). I would love to hear more about this.
I’ve been a fan of Peter’s for almost a decade. Just like you, I heard of him through Tim Ferriss. I’m a subscriber to his Private Feed podcast. I love that he gets into the weeds since I am truly an information junky! But this… this is actionable and functional info. I love the fact that you are able to pull the details out of him that are truly useful to living our best lives. This is by far my favorite production you’ve created. Sincerely… thank you!
This is the most important Podcast I have heard for myself. Being a woman over 65 years, the subjects you debated concern me greatly and you gave precious information; which I would never be able to get from my General Practitioner,. As I feel their knowledge has not evolved since their medical school years?. A Massive Thank You.. ❤
Thank you soooooo much for drilling into the weeds a little on the topic of women’s health, especially with respect to menopause and hormone replacement therapy!!!
Extremely informative episode! I was waiting for you to circle back to rapamycin and its possible effect on the ovaries and fertility... A future episode entirely on women's health would be much appreciated - there is such a need for it! Many thanks Dr Huberman and your whole team for this podcast.
I love fitness and longevity information podcasts. When I saw Peter Attia's name, I got so excited I dropped my game controller and nearly spit my beer into my ashtray.
I subscribed to both of them. Watching health/fitness related videos is my main form of entertainment. I haven't watched an entire episode of a tv show in over 3 years and watch a movie in its entirety maybe once a year.
Hi Andrew, thank you for the podcast as usual - great crossover! I wanted to leave some recommendations for future podcasts (if you take recommendations!): 1) EMFs 2)Dental Health 3) Allergies (i.e. potential cures for chronic rhinosinusitis) Thanks!
I'd love to add to this request list...is there any research on tmj and jaw alignment and associated ailments...any thoughts on it having an impact on glaucoma?
Two of my favorites spewing knowledge for the greater good of humanity I LOVED THIS!!! Andrew, at the end of the video you mentioned putting in the comments people and topics we would like to see. My top pick would be a round table discussion on Cholesterol!!! I know Dr. Attia described things very well, and I took away new knowledge from this episode. I would love a more in depth episode dedicated to Cholesterol. I would love to hear what some of the other Cholesterol experts/enthusiasts would have to say in a round table type discussion. With Dr. Peter Attia of course, Dr. Bret Scher, Dave Feldman, and of course yourself. Thank you and keep up the great work that you do!!!

Dr. Peter Attia, MD, hit the nail on the head when talking about biggest screw-up in the medical field of all time- the Women’s Health Initiative debacle! Amen! Thank you for recognizing this.
Agreed! But aren’t we thankful Peter Attia is out there sounding the Hay Ladies have you heard the news! Thank You!

Profoundly.

“The gravity of aging is more vicious than people realize.” hits real hard.
Cathy Stanczak - yah, it grabbed me too🤯
Either way he's using 'gravity'....whether in the context of 'gravity' to mean extreme seriousness,
OR as a metaphor for a rapid & significant free-fall (decline)
at some point...
- taken either way -
and...yikes!😳
Which Dr. Said that? They are both so well spoken.
@@jengirlpa1 Attia
@@barbarafairbanks4578 remember too Gravity, like the force. a constant posture adversary. Postural position is crucial to overall blood flow which carries the regenerative properties in our blood.
@@aninterestingconversation thanks...something to think about. 🤔
I try to counteract it by spending 20min - head down, feet up on my slanted weight bench...cooling off after my run.
Would love an episode on periods, cycles, pms, menopause. ALL OF IT. I feel a lot of your listeners would appreciate it. I know I would ❤

Attia is my internet celebrity crush too. I can listen to his voice for hours no end.
We are so lucky to have access to this free information. Thank you so much
As a 60 year old woman this is the best program I've viewed on TH-cam.
I totally agree with that!
@@misharamage5529 my doctor won’t do pellets because it’s not easy to adjust and levels are going to change and need adjustment. I just do oral prescription.
Supporting this comment!
@@misharamage5529 I’m surprised you weren’t under the care of the medical professional who inserted the pellets. They routinely measure your hormone levels. Glad you are on them. They are life changing.

Share some of the good female doctors/scientists who provide this information so people can go find it
This was awesome!
I am on the same except for testosterone torches it was to strong for me didn’t make me feel good I’m now on a vaginal cream and feel good
Did you get tested by your primary care doctor or did you have to outsource and pay out of pocket?
This episode was beyond brilliant! I sincerely hope ‘Attia’s Rule’ goes viral. Excellent work, Rob and Andrew!

Yes, and it could of been more nuanced on statins. Nevertheless, it was far from disingenuous or unethical. 🤔

I really like how calm and clear and humble you come across when interviewing. It makes it easier for me to take in the information.

Hi Dr.

Thanks!
how is your diet? did you try an elimantion diet.
I'd love to add to this request list...is there any research on tmj and jaw alignment and associated ailments...any thoughts on it having an impact on glaucoma?
Great suggestions!
Dr Peter Attia must be cloned to elevate the way medicine is delivered. My favorite physician by far. No other physician is in the same zip code.
Almost 3 hours with such clever guys is just a breeze. Thanks for posting 👏
Thanks for being so thorough on women hormone health 👏
