The Pioneer AVH-501EX has a video output that will send the DVD image to an additional screen. Please note: this receiver must be playing the DVD as the selected source for the front screen and audio system to also play on the rear screens. You can see it here: th-cam.com/video/DTA6MxP0dA0/w-d-xo.html However, if you want to play music from one source, like the FM radio, and play a DVD move on a rear screen at the same time, I recommend a different receiver, the Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX seen here: th-cam.com/video/-JidsPPVKnA/w-d-xo.html or the Pioneer AVIC-W6500NEX/W6600NEX seen here: th-cam.com/video/sHjhBURFzGs/w-d-xo.html Pioneer calls this dual zone entertainment, with two different sources playing at the same time. You can find more videos on Pioneer's TH-cam Channel here: th-cam.com/users/pioneerelectronics
The focus of this receiver is not on store bought CD's. A burned disc will display many types of track information. And, loads of track information and album art can be displayed from a USB thumb drive. Check out this video: th-cam.com/video/KWaYfYk90IU/w-d-xo.html
