I love how on Lea's opening night for "Funny Girl," she could hear Jonathan crying in the audience, and later on she said, "I was thinking, 'Is this fool really crying during the opening number?'" 🤣

i met him when i was 14 at the san francisco hamilton premier and he was so incredibly gracious and kind. i was freaking out when i saw him lol and he went so out of his way to come talk to me and my friends and take a picture with us. he is so genuine and as a young teen that interaction meant the world to me

Jonathan Groff’s friendship with Leah Michelle makes me like her more ( I know, I know, that’s weird). I must have watched this reunion special like 7 times and I didn’t know much about Spring Awakening before that. I knew him and Leah were very close and had undeniable chemistry on Glee but seeing this special and knowing the context of that play, I’m so captivated by it all

There is a video on TH-cam where Jonathan talks about how early in the show's previews he once forgot EVERY SINGLE LYRIC of an entire section of Left Behind and just kept repeating "All things.... All things... All things" for like a full minute, causing every other cast member to start laughing hysterically (which was a problem because they're supposed to be very sad in that scene)

It’s on Max, which hasn’t launched officially in Australia yet because WBD is is still licensing HBO content to Foxtel. ‘Spring Awakening: Those You’ve Known’ is a HBO Original, so presumably if Foxtel buys all HBO Originals it should be available on their streaming services like f.i. Binge.
If the deal ends though or is restructured to be non-exclusive for Foxtel, Max is likely coming to Australia in 2025 or 2026. In the meantime, there are always alternative ways to watch ‘Spring Awakening: Those You’ve Known’ if one really wants to.
I remember in our last show that we did we had to sing move toward the darkness as our spirits went to rest in an epic orchestra moment. There was not one dry tear on stage.. 😂

When was this reunion?! Did they did the show again?!
They held a benefit concert last year I think. There’s a documentary on hbo and someone recorded the audio from the concert and uploaded it on TH-cam. Some of the cast said they might release the full concert footage later but I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
