George Lordos from the Bicommunal Famagusta Initiative is trying to bring the two communities together in an attempt to end the stalemate and heartache: "The first time that I visited it was a bit of shock to be honest. I have memories from my town, my home, my school. I was seven y...

From now on it is a dream to imagine Turkish people completely leave so find a two side solution.. Turkish side voted yes to that but Greeks said No. They demand Turks to leave all the control to Greeks which is like waiting red snow to drop instead of white.

The present division is the best solution for Cyprus. Greek Cypriots wave and play national anthem of Greece and celebrate independencece of Greece. There seems to be no Cypriot identity as both Turk-Cypriot and Greek Cypriots are attached to their mother countries. United Nation had to intereve since1964 for ceasefire between Turk-Cypriot and Greek Cypriots. There is no solution except this divorce/seperation between them.

This proves that Cyprus should've been ceded to Greece back then. Crazy an 18% minority can overule an 80% majority..

Greek Cypriots must admit that the best option was the Anan plan of 2004 that they rejected out of egoism and bigotry. Northern Cyprus must now be recognized as an independent state as Kosovo was rightly recognized. The only 2 solutions are either compromise or divorce.

becoz you claimed Cyprus is a greek island, We rightly landed on the island and liberated our turkish society by declaring independece from Republic of Cyprus. If you want it to come to an end, Do not call ''Cyprus is Greek' Cyprus is Cyprus you idiot.

explain how to me. I don't get it. Why should it belong to turkey? Oh let me guess historic precedence because it was part of the ottoman empire a couple hundred years ago...The Greeks have lived there since 1600 BC. Thats when the turks were still in central Asia. The Greek people are a majority and owned a majority of the land on the island before the turks invaded it and kicked everyone out of their houses.

Greeks as a people didn't commit crimes against turkish Cypriots, only individuals did. Only in a Turks mind could they justify the genocide of an entire people because of the actions of a handful of individuals.
