As someone who’s never seen A Link To The Past Speedrun before, this video gave me whiplash. I literally had no idea what was going on the whole video, and I loved it!
the game is so broken you can walk to the triforce within 3 minutes of starting the game on your first try
This was worth staying up til 3 am. And worth rewatching.

TenebrisTheDog during the Jak and Daxter run, which Patty commentated, he and the runner (Bonesaw577) ended up talking like Owen Wilson as a joke (you'd have to watch the run, it's a lot funnier in context) and they kept saying stuff like "it's amazing! Wow! I can't believe it!" and so Andy was vaguely referencing that to try to bait Patty into making another Owen Wilson joke

This and the battle block theater run with the devs a few years back are the best ever. So many runners take themselves and speed-running too seriously. It's not fun to watch. This was an amazing run and also entertaining.

I come back and watch this about once every few months. One of my favorites of all time, right up there with Puwexil's Chrono Trigger.
Absolutely the funniest speedrun I've ever watched. If you are debating on watching it it's worth the sit-down.

Though I dont want everyone trying to mimic these guys as far as host and runner combos go, these guys were great and I would love to see more of them next year.
I find the announcer's potato puns to be half baked.

A nice throwback to when GDQ runs were fun.
If they would just hire nerdy comedians to sit on the couch, they could bring in so many more views and donations. This is such a wasted opportunity that could have been used to draw in new viewers.
No they don't. All you have to do is sandwich a comedian with two other runners and have them play off the situations. It's ridiculous to suggest that you need a comedian speed runner in order to pop off jokes about the game. Hell, if anything, it'd be funnier if they had no idea what was going on. That would open questions they'd have that could stem to funnier jokes. The whole point is to make the show more entertaining, not informative.
GDQ runs are still fun. I'm glad you don't think so, though; we deffo don't need folks like you around anymore. :)

Honestly not a fan of glitched runs, but the cast had me watching through the entire run.
This was a really impressive run!!! The game was broken in so many ways xD
It's really cool because i've already been messing with ALTTP glitches for quite some time (actually, it was the game that introduced me to glitches), and yet through most of the run i was completely speechless seeing all these glitches being used so well and how much knowledge of the game this guy has!
Also, that was some of the most hilarious commentary i've ever seen in a run! xD

But damn it was awesome finishing it.
Back then there was no internet to check it out when you got stuck a little in game.
