Thanks for this! I was considering the metal wire method on my GT4. Does this cause any error indicators? I know that vacuum issues can often trigger coolant warnings on these cars.
@@TheEddysGarage In my experience, those factory crimp clamps aren't as tight as they look and the vacuum lines will pull right off of the valve nipples. They slip back on just as easily with the factory clamps still in place. Just in case you ever decide to cap the lines off instead. I'm guessing the fuel lines should hold up fine though. I first tried some huge industrial zip ties and they quickly melted.

@@logwind it doesn’t change the vacuum because nothing is disconnected

You know there is a simple vacuum line you can disconnect? Default is open.
That was plan B but I didn’t have any caps to cover the open line. Plus the factory fancy hose clamps are a pain to remove
