I had the Dillon Rl 450 which I upgraded to the RL550C. IT was a great press but because of component prices and scarcity, I do not shoot as much as I did. So I sold the Dillon and
I got a Redding T7 press. Not as fast but so what? I don't shoot 500 rounds a week like I used to and I really like the feel of the T7 press. I use all Redding dies and the combination of Redding dies and the excellent Redding T7 turret press makes for an enjoyable reloading experience.

I started with the 550. Just got a t7 also. They are both great. Thank you for the video

What are your thoughts on the T-7 after a year? I'm having trouble deciding between it and the Lyman AA-8. The extra station in the turret doesn't matter near as much as the priming and depriming functions not driving me down that short road to cranky. I haven't heard good things about those systems on the AA-8.

Thanx Jeff, would love to see a video on how you Reload 22TCM from the case trimming all the way to the actual reloading. I also have a Dillon XL650 and now reluctant to consider loading the 22TCM on my Dillon coz I truly trust your experty.
    Thank You again.

I'm from Brazil and I shoot only with a pistol, 9mm and .40. I shoot 300 rounds a month a little. I currently have a Lee Loadmaster progressive press, I have it for about 12 months, my first refill press. I confess that I am a little disappointed with Lee. This press requires a lot of adjustments, the operations sometimes fail, there are plastic parts that usually spoil easily. I am looking to migrate to the REDDING T7 TURRET. Am I on the right track?

If I had it to do all over again with a single stage press I would have only gotten the Redding Big Boss 2. I find that screwing in the dies is easier than having them all in that big head. Also it's easier to use a bullet puller and a case extractor if you needed too. However, for my range ammo I like the Dillion 650. You can do 500 rounds an hour and even 300 rounds a month will get a little tedious.

Hi Jeff, now that you have reloaded both 22tcm and 57, do you have a preference and why?

Hi George, I think the 5.7x28mm is my favorite all around handgun. Although the velocities are similar the amount of rounds the gun will hold in a flush mag is 20. The gun is very light and accurate. The bullets are as varied as 223 and its FN no offense to armscor but they aren't the same quality.

You sure have a lot of powder all over your Dillon 650. Have you tried trimming the spring down under the shell plate ? i took about 1 coil off my spring and it worked great.

Also replace the metal ball with a HDPE. Both mods helped my RCBS Pro 2000 with throwing powder from cases.

Why would you need to reload so many different rounds? Do you do it as a service for customers?
