I wish I found this channel a week ago when I started modding skyrim. So I graduated from nnm to mo2 specifically for this game, I've created a new instance 3 times and currently I'm hunting for a guide on how to set specific weapon animations, that may overwrite any aio I already have downloaded. Gonna subscribe, like and I'm writing this for the algorithm, so hopefully it saves someone else the hassle of spending a week to only play a few hours total.

@@ADHDecent Once your done with the series, if possible, try to make an FAQ troubleshoot video with some common mistakes.
For example some of the ones I’m having was the character not being able to move staying on T-Pose (but I was able to fix this)
Another is when I follow Ralof inside the castle, he buga out and doesn’t uncuffed me

Thanks for this great tutorial series. I would not, in a million years, guess that I had to go through to install a few mods. Still can't believe, that with all the benefits mod makers create, Bethesda didn't make it any easier to use mods for us simple pesants.

Here I was thinking I was going to just cram a million mods into vortex and press play. I had Vortex, MO2, and LOOT all installed. Lydia was spazzing out and my textures/ lighting looked soo bad. loool. Awesome series, thank you! Subscribed

Hello!! Thank you so much for this! I did have a question regarding some of the mods being installed. For instance the SKYUI + MCM, is that mandatory or is a preference mod from here on out? As well as the JK's skyrim overhaul. For I was hoping to install a different UI design and not so much the vanilla look that it gives, sorry I'm new to modding for I just got a PC and am slightly confused

Modern animations looks much better, but now I see Dragonborn can’t walk backwards (he just turns 180* in third look even when fighting). Maybe there’s a mod that ads to animations back moves?
Just make a list of 100 mods like this and you'll be hands down best content creator of skyrim.

Ugh I dread SKYUI!!! Had to reinstall Skyrim so of course it updated. Have the latest version of SKSE, latest Skyrim AE build ect and no matter what I do I can’t get SKYUI to show up in game.

Quick question i started your guide by accidentally installing Skyrim in French i changed for english on steam mid way but when i launch the game using mo2 i still see the menu in French...i suppose the change on steam don't apply when the game is launched via SKSE ? EDIT : i found the solution in the .ini file on MO2

I just started modding recently and I've been clean installing skyrim and steam because I keep messing up my mods. YOU ARE MY GOD. I shall worship you till the end of times. Also the nemesis files keep appearing in the Overwrite thing even though I create mod called nemesis output just like you said. Should I just drag them into the Nemesis output mod or should I create a new mod for the newer outputs.
I really appreciate your kind words and support thank you it means the world. Every time you regenerate you'll need to move the files to the mod folder again. You can also set this up to do so automatically under Nemesis settings in MO2 and overwrite files to option then specify the mod path. You'll only need to regenerate if you change your animations just in case you were wondering. Happy modding!

Where do I put animations in the load order? I downloaded the Vangargand animations for walking/running but cant seem to get them to work. I assume its the load order. I have all prereqs installed
Hello, & Thank you!!! I have been trying to learn how to mod my games for years, mostly with minimal success. I finally had a mod set working and then Annerversery edition broke everything again... lol.
While going through this tutorial (I started at pt 1and got to here, pt 6, so far) I did end up with more things in my Overwrite file, after this episode, they seem to be related to Nemisis and open animation replacer. (the files in the overwrite folder read: Meshes/ Nemesis_Engine/ Scripts & SKSE) Now the SKSE folder is where the Open animation replacer files are & everything else says nemesis in it someplace once you open it. Should I create a new mod from this like we did with the last set of Overwrite file info, if so where do I pout it once I have that done, or should I drag them to the mods they are talking about? Plus... once I am done makeing skyrim work again, I would like to do this to Skyrim VR... any plans on doing a series on how to mod that properly?

could you help me? i have this problem everytime i open SKSE: A DLL plugin has failed to load correctly. If a new version of Skyrim was just released, the plugin needs to be updated. Please check the mod's webpage for updates.

Im getting files in the overwrite mod directory, and am not sure what to do meshes, Nemesis_engine, scripts and SKSE
So I am new to modding skyrim and was wondering what will I do if all these mods need updating in a year will Mo2 do it for me?
I think things working but i have some problems but the main one is that i think mcm helper making me an error that i need to press no to enter the game the error is:

Hello, I'm Using your YT tutorials to mod skyrim SE. In part 6 (Install SKYUI & Modern Animations | Skyrim Modding Guide) I encountered some problems. After installing the mods TrueHUD, True Directional Movement, Animation Queue Fix, Paired Animation Improvements and Open Animation Replacer the overwrite line (in MO2) is red (flagged?) and i can't see the installed mods ingame (MCM manager). Can you help me?
Quick question, Ive only found XP32 fixed scripts, and it doesn't have any pop ups, it installs directly, and there's no dummy FNIS.esp, I can find SkyUI on mods tab in Skyrim but there's no XPMSSE tab. Is a fix needed or is this just an updated version that no longer requires FNIS and doesn'tt display XPMSSE as a result?
I got to the part in this video where you loaded the game up after installing the mods, but I’m met with purple textures and clipping through the floor. How do I fix this?

A little late here but everything is running fine all the way up until I get to mcm helper as soon as I install that and then update and launch nemesis it gets stuck at 99% and idk why, is there a fix for this?

Hello, Whenever i load skse it seems to load fullscreen but slightly off to the side of my screen like its not centered? Do you know what could have caused this or how to fix? Thanks in advance!
Did anyone else get a net framework download when they tried to launch nemesis at the 2:43 time stamp on this video?? It appears to have stalled the launch operation and I am stuck not knowing what to do next.
I decided to end task on nemesis after the net was updated. Then I launched Nemesis once more, updated the engine and then launched the engine and that seemed to solve that problem.
But now, I think I have some files in the overwrite folder that need addressed and I am totally stuck now.
go to XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended\data\meshes\actors\character\animations\XPMS and delete the FNIS_XPMSE_List.txt file. This solved my problem
Change your Windows Display Language as English and restart your PC. Try this, I'm sure it will work..
When I launched Nemesis after installing Skyui I was able to update the engine. But when I hit launch It says I need to download required files did I do this right
When I update/launch Nemesis three folders are created in the Overwrite folder; "meshes", "Nemesis_Engine" and "scripts".
When I run the game one folder is created in the Overwrite folder; "SKSE".
What should I do with those?

@@nikelodian1456 by now I already solved it;
-Folders created when running Nemesis are new animations added for new mods you have installed: you can make them into a new mod, the "Nemesis Output" featured on this tutorial.
-SKSE folder is created when you change configurations on your configurable mods, like changing the preset for a HUD or camera mod. They can remain in Overwrite since they only alter the default config of said mods, but you can make them into a new mod to keep Overwrite clean or put them into "Nemesis Output" too.
Hope I helped. I already completed this tutorial and figured out the mistakes in it myself, so if you stumble upon one of them reply to this comment and I'll help you if I can. Just don't wait for creators like this one to help you; they're probably going to but you'll have to stall your modding process for a long time.

So I keep getting an overwrite error when I enable TrueHUD. When I start the game, "Continue, New Game, & Load Save" are the only options available, but the game run okay. I also discovered a bunch of overwrite errors related to meshes, Nemesis, scripts, and SKSE. Any help with this?

So I keep getting “address library has a newer version, either Skyrim has been updated or Address please check the web page” I followed this to a tee today and done everything you done I do not see any fix for this. I dont know if i must progress past Helgen, but none of the mods are loading in MCM. Well it's loaded, but when I click on them, I'm greeted with blank pages. And also True Directional Movement is not taking effect. Pls help...

For some reason, True Directional Movement Mounted Archery shows as not installed even though I checked everything in Nemesis
Does anybody else has some problems with running Nemesis? Everytime I do it'll ask if I can install .Net Framework 3.5 (that's an old version and gives a lot problems when downloading, like freezing my pc), but if I disable XP32 Nemesis will run without any problems. Is it a problem for Nemesis if I disable XP32 before running Nemesis and enable it after I've closed Nemesis again?
It still just crashes my game when i press ESC after i enable Skyui
Followed all of these steps, but all I see under mod configuration are Realistic Water Two and SKYUI.
3:00 At this point, I noticed my game was in French and struggled to change it to English. I succeeded it but now I have a notification because I have files in "Overwrite".
The files are :
- MCM
- meshes
- Nemesis_Engine
- scripts
It says I can drag&drop those files to regular mods... but which one(s) ?
EDIT : I presume meshes, Nemesis_Engine and scripts come from Nemesis and MCM from MCM Helper, since it says MCM>Settings>SkyUI_SE.ini

1.6.1170 version of skyrim is stable ? did i need to downgrade to some older and stable version ?
1.6.640 for example
This series uses 1.6.1170. There may be mods that havent been updated to work with this version but they wont be included in this series if that is the case. I test all mods in this guide with this game version before releasing
During 2:52 where im supposed to run skyrim through SKSE my game crashes during the bethesda logo, the only thing i did not do from previous videos is that i haven't installed the mod "alternate start", any help please?
I saw that under plugins, Cutting Room Floor and USSP gets unchecked.

Hello! When I launch Nemesis, I get tons of errors saying "32bit hkx file detected". I've digged through other communities and they said it's because the animations are from Oldrim which are in 32 bit format. I don't really know what's causing this, nor what mod is. I also loaded up the game, but the NPCs were t-posing, including me. I have Skyrim SE 1.6.1170 version.
Hello ! I have the same issue but i found i had download the wrong mod. It's not "XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended" but : XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended. (with the "SPECIAL"). Hope that's will help you !
@@zackgpr Yeah, I also saw that I downloaded the one without the "special" in the name while I was troubleshooting the issue, so I had to basically reinstall XP32 for SE. Thanks though!

The first time you run Nemesis, it may take a very long time to complete.
Change your Windows Display Language as English and restart your PC. Try this, I'm sure it will work..
