Hallo mensen, ik ben libaneese, dus ik spreek nederlands en ik woon in nederland bijna 1 jaar.
Ik ben nu 14, bijna 15, en ik heb nederlands gewoon van school geleerd. Ik zit nu in de isk, sinds augustus, en volgend jaar ga ik naar 3 vwo. De schoolsysteem hier is niet slecht en je kan de taal leren in een paar jaren maar de probleem is er staan niet genoeg plekken voor alle kinderen.
Volgens mij is arabisch moeilijker dan nederlands voor zo veel reden, en goed zo Tim, je arabisch in de Easy Arabic video is bijna perfect.
Wij hadden een stagair hij woonde nog maar 2 jaar in Nederland gevlucht uit Syrië.
Maar in die kleine 2 jaar dat hij hier was kon hij al verrekte goed Nederlands. Ik vind dat echt knap dat mensen zo snel een compleet andere taal kunnen oppakken.

De kern is dat de beste wijze om een nieuwe taal te leren is, gewoon het lef hebben deze taal te spreken met de inheemse sprekers, niet bang te zijn fouten te maken en dan pik je veel vanzelf op. Dat is ook hoe ik Engels en een klein beetje Duits heb geleerd.
The core is that the best way to learn a new language is just having the nerve to speak this language with the native speakers, not being afraid to make mistakes and sooner or later you learn a lot. That is also who I learned English and little bit of German.
Der Kern ist daß der beste Weg um einem neue Sprache zu lernen, ist den Mut zu haben es zu sprechen mit den Muttersprachlern und keine Angst zu haben Fehler zu machen, und es werde ein Moment geben daß du es lerned. Das ist auch wie ich English und ein klein bißchen deutsch gelerned habe.
(And I guess the German version will have the most mistakes, but hey, I had the nerve to try and show that. As long as Germans understand me, I am for now zufrieden, but I am always open for suggestions to learn. Right now I'm playing the entire Deponia trilogy in German in order to practice).

I learnt to speak Dutch, because I really like De Alpenzusjes (a mad polonaise band). Though when I attempted to try to learn Dutch, I found that I really liked the language. How could
anyone not like a language that has stofzuigerslang (vacuum cleaner hose) and mierenneuken (obsessing over unimportant details)?
Though I like Dutch, that doesn't mean that I'm good at it. For me, the Dutch language is like a partner that you're crazy about, but also drives you crazy, and has you storming out of the
house on a regular basis.
Something that I really like is how Dutch people are so surprised that a foreigner speaks their language, they'll often say that you speak good Dutch, even though your Dutch may be
(like mine) pretty crap.
Many Dutch answered me in English when I talked to them in Dutch 😂
@@pepsicolla123 If you were in a big city like Amsterdam, I've no doubt that the locals preferred to speak English.
However, in more rural areas, the locals prefer to speak Dutch. I was in Drenthe last summer, and I was able to speak Dutch, and was spoken to in Dutch, for almost

ik ben zelf een geboren Nederlander en ga veel met Arabisch sprekende mensen om.
Na een paar maanden kan ik ze wel begrijpen, maar nog niet goed verstaan.
Arabisch lijkt mij super lastig, Maar zoals zij in de video al zeiden, als je wilt dan kan het.

This is a question I've always wondered. I always see English speaking people complaining they don't wanna learn Dutch because the moment dutch people sense an accent they switch to English. But funnily I've always heard different accent depending on ethnicity, Surinamese, Antilles, morokkanse, so I've never understood the excuse
So, a lot of Dutch people tend to switch to English if they understand that their interlocutor is not a Dutch native speaker. People from Suriname are generally also Dutch native speakers, so there would be no point in speaking to them in English.
@@EasyDutch it's an example, I don't mean specifically for Surinamese , but Dutch of buitenlander always sounds different be it Chinese, polish, and etc.
After visiting the Netherlands, I became inspired to learn the language. I don't understand people who don't. I'm enjoying the journey. Hope I will get to visit again.

I'm not so knowledgeable when it comes to a lot of languages, but it seems Arabic speakers wouldn't have trouble pronouncing the strong gutural stronger-than-French "R" (it is gutural how it is called?) that Dutch has.

Wat ik met het nederlands lastig vind, is dat ik de taal in de buitenland probeer te leren. Ik heb de indruk dat ik doordat ik duitser ben de taal snel kan leren maar in het land. Om te taal hier in Spanje te leren, fout me de directe contact met de taal. In de teorie leer ik het niet goed. Ik ben overtuigd dat ik in het leven in Nederland in een jaar de taal relatief fluiend zou kunnen spreken.
Sesamstraße hab ich gemocht, nur der Sandmann war nicht so gut, dat hieß dann auch ab ins Bett 😂

@Yuri R. Ich komme aus Nordholz aus der (frieischen) Region Land Wursten (Gemeinde Wurster Nordseeküste) im Landkreis Cuxhaven in Niedersachsen. Dabei ist anzumerken, dass das Wurtfriesische ausgestorben ist und hier Standarddeutsch und, wenn auch nicht mehr von vielen Plattdüütsch (neuniederdeutsch) gesprochen wird

One should notice that for an Arab it's much easier to learn a new language since their languages contains plethora of sounds which would cover almost any language that an Arab would like to learn.

@@Lookingforamiracle Guttural sounds: Both Arabic and Dutch have some guttural sounds. The Dutch "g" and "ch" sounds (as in "goed" and "lachen") are produced in the back of the mouth, somewhat similar to the Arabic "غ" (ghayn) and "خ" (kha). Arabic speakers might find it easier to produce these sounds compared to speakers of languages without such guttural sounds.
Trilled or rolled "r": The trilled or rolled "r" sound is present in both Arabic and Dutch. Arabic speakers familiar with this sound may find it relatively easier to pronounce Dutch words containing the trilled "r".

It’s funny how they man says Dutch is an easy language and still makes so many grammatical mistakes. Of course understanding each other is the main point, but Dutch is not easy.
Isn't it funny how you call them immigrants but if they were from another part of the world, you would call them Expats? 🤔🤫

In 1995 I was in Prague and I met an Irish couple in a bar, who lived there and worked as English teachers. There were also Americans (also teachers).
The Irish guy said: "We Irish are immigrants here, those Americans are expats!" 😂

@@SamplesurferA couple years ago I met an Israeli girl at a hostel, she spoke 3 languages and was on vacation in her fancy dress. We went for a Kebab and the guy who was working there (over 8 hours a day in 35° everyday) was from Palestine. Very interesting world we live in.
