Does anyone ever feel really confused about Gwen and Tim’s view shift because all of the Ballinger children (colleens, Rachel, and chris) except Trent have at one point referenced their really conservative home but their parents don’t seem that conservative now. I know their religious but it seems like a shift must have occurred.
My parents were also very conservative and like hers when I was growing up...we did not have cable, went to church every sunday and I was very sheltered. When I was in high school (I am the youngest) they no longer forced us to go to church and also shifted to less conservative. I feel like they had more access to more information and they grew as people. In the 90's and early 2000"s they only really talked to people in person or saw a very limited view set on tv...around 2005-2008 the internet and whatnot spread more ideas around and people saw that there were different ways of life and people became less sheltered and more informed.
Sometimes I wonder if they escaped a cult lol. Like, they didn't allow their kids to watch the CARE BEARS because it contained "satanic magic" ?? That's pretty weird lol
@@idellekell Not being allowed to watch shows containing magic is not that rare, I’ve known a LOT of people who have also been restricted by their parents to watch magic related stuff, I wouldn’t call it weird, it’s just how other people think. You don’t have to compare it to a cult…

I wish you the best of luck with your twins 😘😘😘 and congratulations momma
I didn't think I was going to be able to relate to playing with these toys, ( bc I was born in 02) , but I am shocked at how much I did play with some of these.
I was born in 02 too! And my oldest brother was born late 90’s so… it really surprised me that I remember all of them
being a part of my childhood (besides the cassette/boom box). And I realized that I blow into my phone (the charging/speaker holes) because of how we would have to blow into our old games.
tries the charleston CHEW: “that was so chewy”
❤️
I'm 11 and I LOVE MOON SHOES!! They are so fun!
Okie.... I’m a 2000s baby from a conservative home and I had and currently still have (my grandma collected them and gave them to me so I’m passing time down) the ORIGINAL.. collectable Care Bears and those do not look like the original ones at all. 😂
