Shocked that cats cradle was actually sold in a box as a ‘toy’! We literally used to just get a piece of thread from the arts room in school and play it!
Lol 2000's kids trying desperately to be like 90's kids. Y'all need to find your own things to be *proud* of because the 2000's was a GREAT decade. Better than the 90's IMO

The Skip it seems more safe then when I was little & at recess many kids would stand in a circle with one in the middle holding a jump rope & spin it as fast a they could & it would stop when someone couldn’t jump the rope & would trip
The skip it was something my mom would never buy for me because I was VERY clutzy, and so I got one for my birthday from an aunt I think, and then proceeded to immediately fall trying to use it. I really is a toy that's like yeah let's just give kids something they are inevitably going to trip themselves on.

I was born in 2006 and I had almost every one of the things Colleen showed except for the weird hair thing. That weird rolly toy Colleen asked if teens knew what it was YES I got one for selling enough Girl Scout cookies.
When you showed cats cradle it brought me right back to my childhood. I used to wear the string around my wrist as a bracelet when I wasn't doing Jacob's ladder. Some of my favorite 90s toys were lite Brite, bop it, poo chi, game boy color, n64, polly pockets, easy bake oven, Baskin Robin's ice cream maker, etch a sketch, and beanie babies.
Love all your family Colleen. I’ve heard you say time after time about Erik Stocklin snoring, I highly recommend to get a sleep study done on him. It sounds like he might have sleep apnea. If he does the treatment is getting a CPAP, APAP, or BiPAP prescribed. I have a slight sleep apnea and use a APAP and it has been a game changer. I had no idea that having sleeping issues can worsen your mental health. I started to see a new psychiatrist and he recommended to get the study. Now I have good sleep every night, don’t wake up tired, don’t toss & turn, don’t wake up during the night, I don’t wake up moody, I feel rested and the best part of it all my mental health has improved so much. Look into it, trust me it’s a life changer.
I’m 19 years old and when you brought out the cassette tape I teared up a bit. I don’t recognize everything in this video but I recognize a lot of it! I inherited a lot of my sisters toys (shes 33 now) so I had a lot of 90s toys.
When Erik was doing the cats cradle and was at the last part and then messed the whole thing up I literally almost Peed myself looking at Colleens face because she was so depressed😂😂😂😂😂
Some of these items came out in the 80s, like the glitter bracelets, Stretch Armstrong, the Skip It, the Pound Puppy (the cats were called Pound Purries), and the one with the wheel, called a Weelo. I'm a Tamagotchi collector, and have ones made in the 90sas well as Japanese versions, and newer ones in color, such as the Tamagotchi On. (Jan Griffiths).
Eric seems like such a straightforward person. Colleen is showing him her childhood toy and he's like "the skills you could've learned wasting time learning this" and when she was unboxing those mini shopkins things with her mom he was like "can you eat it?"
