Drove my friend's.... I guess 2014 RT. Nothing wildly special on that model, but still a V8 at least. I used to be a Mustang guy until I took the RT for a spin..... needless to say I wont be going back to Mustangs ever again

I just recently purchased the 2017 392 Hemi Scat Pack with the shaker it ran me 48,500 out of the door price. Not bad for a Hellcat in sheep clothing. I'll be adding a twin turbo or supercharger in about 6 months. I've never been so excited about a purchase in my life. lol

You actually have the ability to turn the radio off, not just mute it and have it start playing again every time you cycle the key. I wish my 2016 would let me shut it off. Glad they brought that feature back at least. It's amazing how automakers can overlook the simplest, most basic things when they redesign cars. I know it may seem like a very minor thing, but it's actually very annoying when you realize you can't actually turn your radio off. I can't explain why.
I bought the Scat Pack when it came out in 2015. Love the car. Got it fully loaded and cost about $50K. I have about 14K miles in it now.

Great video! I had to go out and get me one, and I absolutely love this car! It was either Challenger or Mustang. I think I made the right choice. Still love the Mustang too, but the Challenger has that special swagger about it.

Starting at the 8 minute mark of the video (showing the rear of the car) it's evident that the two sections of the right tail light housing don't match up with each other.
It's possible that the car has received some damage to its right rear at some point in time.
At 8:50 you will see a trunk support bumper that sticks up. It keeps the trunk from slamming down on the painted surface.
Well this one needed to be screwed in a little more. It is a 30 second fix.
valve guide seals are already leaking , should not smoke blue when starting or any time
Or he has been revving it too much in idle.

So they added CarPlay but removed the SD card slot. Interesting trade-off. Personally I like not having to hook up the phone to listen to music, so the SD card is great on my 2016 Challenger.

I have a 2014. Would love a year or two newer with new interior and exterior upgrades. Looking at getting newer one with automatic for the wife. Ok, it’ll be for me but have to make her think it’s for her so I can keep 2014 and still get newer one.
I wish I could afford one, but 2 things. 1) The right tail light wasn't inline with the split. 2) When you started it up, the engine smoked like a little oil got past the piston rings. Of course that's probably because everyone who wants to test drive it wants to rev it to redline while in park to hear the exhaust.
1) Trunk needed to be aligned.
2) Engine needs to break in.
blueknight it isn't smoke. It is moisture. You can see water shoot out with it. You can also see the plastic on the bumper condensating. And also you can see water dripping from the muffler or resonator. And even if it was smoke. The engine needs to be broken in. That is normal for a new engine
***** No, it was smoke. When moisture comes out the exhaust pipe,it is white and dissipates fairly quickly. That was blue smoke meaning oil is being burn.
MikesCarInfo Ok,the trunk needed alignment. But the engine needs breaking in? Don't think so. I've started and seen many new engines start and they didn't smoke like that. It's either a defect from the factory or people being rev happy with the engine which caused a problem.
blueknight it is 100% normal smoke. it is a free flowing exhaust system, cold starts get a rich start causing rapid change in exhaust temp in a fraction of second = smoke poof. it immediately goes away. not a mechanical issue. happens on all 6.4s and hellcats. even lambos/ferraris do it on cold start...thermaldynamics always wins.

The only thing I don't like about the challenger and chargers or really any Chrysler product to begin with, is the low quality plastics. My uncle had a 2015 dodge challenger hellcat and he babied that thing and the plastics just got this wear and tear which made the finish of looked smudges and almost greasy like. I wish dodge would give the interior plastics a better finish to them and extend the leather option to a leather-covered dashboard. I know this is a sports car and not a luxury car but the leather dash would ease up on the vast amount of plastic in the car. Also a trim piece around the infotainment unit would be nice too, I feel like the screen just looks awkward where it it and looks like it wasnt very well integrated into the car

no. The car can tell if the key is inside or outside the car.
Hope the rings seal better after break-in. Saw some blue smoke when you did the remote start filming at back of car.
Otherwise, I considered this exact car but then contemplated the Scat charger, then said too much money without AWD for a daily driver for me. I really needed just a work car to put miles on. For a weekend fast toy, hell yeah. I would take this over a mustang without a second thought.
Big thing to remember for wanna be buyers is on the 8 speed automatic equipped models MDS IS mandatory. Meaning engine cuts down to 4 cylinders cruising around and sounds like crap. Plus, have been major problems with MDS system breaking and screwing up valve trane majorly. Only the 6 speed manual is a non MDS motor and is what you want!! Research it. Dodge MDS issues on Google.
If you put it in sport mode the MDS shuts off and it remains in 8 cylinders

I saw a video where a dude six foot 10 was able to sit in the back seat and the front seat looked like it had enough room for the average person.. but couldn't tell in ur video with the seal all the way back.. U made it look like the back seats were unusable.
one seat forward, one seat back to show full range of motion.
gotcha.. just that it was more focused on the seat forward. didn't get a feel for the room
