Tina's initial observation is a great name for a boat. "Anger Issues" is a great name for a race boat... I know you have abstracted it further to get Max, but if you went with her initial comment, it would work pretty well. That thing is freaking insane though. As someone who grew up with west coast drag boats, big, fast power is nothing really new, but the launches and the full-throttle buoy turns is on a whole different level.

I honestly make a choice to Kit wear one. Biggest threat is bucket dropping and ending up on the bottom of the river in about 1/2 a second and trying to get out. I really don’t enjoy open-water testing but gotta do it
After the run I couldn’t tell if Bean needed a cigarette or toilet paper! Her reaction was crazy! I can’t imagine the shock of the G force for the first time with that much power!

@@JollyRoger907 yes sir it most definitely does. Should be able to get in contact with them and get sensors needed and get it setup fairly easy never ram motec but have heard great things and seen some pretty nasty cars with the set.
Looks like some serious sensory overload! Once y’all get some familiarization for seat time, I expect things’ll get awesome. Seemed to handle the chop better then I’d expected. Have you considered a larger diameter quadrant on the throttle shaft, to lessen the sensitivity, make the throttle more linear? That and try different weight springs. Power is great, but, drivability makes a huge difference in managing the power. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing and be safe…

Just watched the last video after a delay due to company coming over. Saw that you posted this one and had to watch it to. Its the "907" to me since I've watched it from the beginning. I think I deserves to stay the "907". Not my call, just my humble opinion. It looks like a hot handful for sure! The fish in the river are thinking, "what the hecks going on up there!?!" 😂 Guessing with a foot brace, PDF and eye protection on next test run, along with your brain dailing in, you'll feel more confident. Any idea what RPMS you are pulling at WOT? May pay to put a Go Pro on the display to check that you are actually in the motors optimal power curve with that impeller and nozzle setup. I heard you only turning about 4700 RPM (not counting pump ventilation) which means you're only doing about 750 HP according to your dyno chart. It needs to hit about 6150 to hit 1000.
Oh yeah, we’re nowhere near max performing this thing yet! Our impellers are wayyyy too big which is why we’re so low on RPM. Wait til we get her dialed and she’s spinning 6700
@@ni_wink84 Yes, it's easy with a tone generator to match the frequency. Multiply Hz by 120 to get the RPM. Even by ear it's obviously not turning on the order of 6k and if you have perfect pitch you'll know what note it is.

Side note my 12' pre-welded Jetstream boat arrived a few weeks so about to start working on getting it together. Unfortunately Southern Jet is 9-12 week out on the pump so not sure how much I'll be able to accomplish without it being in the boat first. I've never built a boat before so my knowledge on what I'm doing is non-existent but what's new. I'm hoping to achieve a similar setup as Boostedboiz with the Turbocharger K24 Honda engine. The only difference being he chose a two stage Scott pump, I chose a two stage Southern Jet. Not sure which is better but you have a Southern Jet in that boat and if is any indication I'd say it will do.

I think Jetsprints are actually quicker out of the hole than drag boats are, just don’t have the top speed
