But rotaries are not even un reliable people just treat them like shit and than complain. Literally just as reliable than any other motor you just need to warm them up first and pre mix oil that's literally it. It's people who know nothing about cars that complain about rotarys. Also from an engineering POV they're more reliable than a pushrod motor so as they only have three moving parts. My rotor has done 70 000ks and it's got perfect compression and I limiter bash almost daily at 9000rpm and have flogged it for the past 40 000ks. Only thing that broke was a oil cooler fan which made my car overheat but was quickly fixed.
Sorry mate ! But you simply can not compare anything like that exciting anywhere in USA because first ,..... you can not ride these without life jackets and lots of safety measures in place and permissions before hand especially given the large gatherings if they ever did race these kind of things and 2nd ,.....rules and regulations will starts to come into effect gradually making any of these kind of events so complicated and costly that it eventually make these kind of boat races limited to promotional marketing affairs (capitalist economy ) and to very rich motor/boat houses and mechanics ! Cops/departments in USA and similar kind of countries just suck the fun and life out of anything like that and some media houses even starts their propaganda machines to outright ban it and cops will be so quick on the throat of the organizers that one can just imagine !

The driver of this boat is chill Af! And so was CB media 😊
My guy legit has a diesel truck motor on his boat 😂
And controls it with a STICK!

I'm an adrenaline nut. This is right up my alley. If i ever get to go to Bangkok I'm hittin the river immediately to find these people
Different cultures but we all have fun in similar ways. Cool video. Even cooler boats, yet even cooler people. Loved it
This gets better every time i watch it !!
This is a rare footage of a species that becoming extinct recently, the real man. That’s the real race, just the real man, some hardcore drinks at the river banks and the real big ass engines. I’m glad there are some species of the “real man” is exist and dint extinct yet. Man will be man. 🍻😎💪

Glad to see the meds are working.
eh I wouldnt use "big ass engines" so loosely, they're little turbo 4 bangers. dope machines nonetheless but theres much, much bigger motors w more cylinders for power boats out there.
those are not "big ass" engines...
This is what people do when they have freedom to enjoy their hobbies-- nobody worried about anything but having fun. Friggen amazing!
Here I am in California wishing I could go to my bar and grab a beer. I need to rethink my life choices.

Just left CA last week before the crazy fire started. Missing the IPA but yes now I’m in Thailand still under quarantine. Can’t wait to go out!

These boats just got my mind boggled bro! INSANE!

I must confess this is so photogenic. The boats speeding through the water with the dramatic sunset! Wow!🤔😀

The contrast of the skillfully crafted wooden boat and the bare motor spitting smoke and shredding the water is wonderful

Bruh I was like WTF just happened hahahaaa
CB Media really didn’t expect that because you swallowed your saliva 10 times in my count 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m sure you enjoyed that ride, wish I could experience that too
@CB Media how fast 💨 do they actually go ????
CB Media you’re a legend I’ve watched this again a few times and everytime I wanna get on one of these boats because of your reaction

It's not a good manners, And if you're born in Thailand you must known that there are not a lot ladyboy outside of red light district areas and while you've known that why you still talk like many guys in Chad's comment sections that never come to Thailand and try to tell another members that those ladies in Chad car Video events are ladyboy from their guessed, because if you live here you'd known that there are not a lot of them out here and all of those ladies in Chad's videos are all real ladies because ladyboy are never allowed to do these kinds of job at car events and of course in this video there are none of them too. What a great video, cannot believe it's been two years. It's still showing my original upvote so I guess I can't give you another, but congrats on 10 million plus views! Also it was great to say hello to you in passing on Sukumvit soi 24 a couple months ago. I'm not much of a car guy but I have gone to NHRA events for years and love heads up drag racing. So cool to see this side of Thailand and I will definitely make it to a track at some point.
@Baby music Yes he is
no one showthese guys rotarys they'll have no hearing but a damn fast boat.
They want engines that last more than one day
@@MaliciousSRT rotaries do last more than a day, they last 3 days
@@xavierrodriguez2463 huh.......a day for each rotor,XD lmao jk
Most of the people who trashes a rotary engine doesn't even own one lol they're just following the trend like a bandwagons.
They just made 1000 HP 100+ PSI larger class on November, please update.
This is some of the best use of dinosaur juice on earth
I love watching these race. It's absolutely insane.
This is the most American thing Thailand as ever done.
Damn there you go !!!! Reality check
You cant do this is America mate, so not really the most American thing
This is more what 1950' era America car racing was like . Before all the safety stuff was so prominent and folks could just do crazy stuff on weekends. :)
@@ernie548 Correct ! Damages started to take place in the late 70s and then slowly continued throughout the 80s and 90s and BOOM ! 911 and you guys are starting to lose every kind of freedom and natural joys gradually being taken away up to a point that now parking spots violations are being recorded on phones to somehow send the violator to jail or everybody who is stranger , is somehow a possible stalker , thief , pervert , pedo or just a creeper !
Everyone is too sensitive now that it is reaching to a point to restrict the freedom of speech itself and the grumpy old folks who were young in the 70s and 80s are the biggest contributors in that ! So ,.... they are still the problems no matter where you want to look at this .
This is one if the coolest sports ever. Every country should start doing this. I would be like a little boy again if I could have a ride on one those rocket ships.
