Props to him but it doesn’t take very much self control when, like he said, u already don’t like doing it
Khyzjai Jones I kinda get what you’re saying but I also have experience in writing and also have networked with plenty of other writers. From what I’ve experienced if you are in the process of writing something when you are extremely heated and ready to explode, the swear words seem like they just come out naturally. When one can get over a state of blacking out, then you can feel like you have more control over what lines you’re thinking of. It’s not about just using swear words as fillers. They literally just come out of nowhere if you’re writing while you are in a state of extreme anger. Most of NFs songs sound angry so he must have some type of control over what he says.

I think that the reason NF has came so far without swearing is because like you said Blacky,he keeps it real. NF doesn’t need to swear to get on Billboard or get on the radio. He is just himself and that is why I like NF so much.

NF has influenced me to stop using profanity in my music. It gives me a challenge when I write. If there isn't a challenge then it's just too easy and isn't fun. I also like how it's now appropriate for anyone.
What i like about NF is that hes open about his faith. Struggles. And what he thinks. Hes someone that i enjoy listening to him. Yea i still like his older music thats more about faith but his music now is amazing as hell. I dont listen to him because hes a Christian whos a rapper or he was a Christian rapper. He just makes amazing songs. Hes unique. And thats what sticks out to me.
NF doesn’t need to swear because he keeps it real with everyone. So NF doesn’t need to swear to get on the radio because he is just himself and people can connect with that. Especially when NF raps about difficult situations in life and how he gives people hope that u can make it out of those situations. So that is why I’m a big fan of NF and another great video *Blacky* keep it up bro.
“NF is deciding not to breathe” I got that. It wasn’t cheesy at all . Let’s say Breathing is something that all rappers are doing (also for the sake of logic let’s say breathing isn’t something we need to do but something we choose to do ) NF is simply choosing not to do what everyone else is doing. I hope my little break down of your quote made since lol Love you Man , 1 last thing is it safe to say your basically the NF I’d TH-cam because you also choose not to “Breathe” as well
Know this is old but great vid...I remember an interview with him while back that he said like once he dropped christian thing, he still stuck to not cursing cause he liked that it challenged him more lyrically when writing so he kept forcing himself to find alternatives...which i got mad respect for...he even says it in “greenlight” n its true...”who u know droppin clean records but they nasty”🔥...the truth is NF n tommee the profit are the greates MC and producer in game right now n combined they are setting new precedent n level to reach i love em
(Not tryna self promote btw) But I don’t curse in my music either. I just don’t feel a need for it. I feel like they’re used to further push a point, or just for whatever reason. But I just feel that I can express my emotions in my music with my lyrics voice and the beat, and maybe that’s how he thinks as well. Plus maybe the Christianity part of his life influences the words he uses
I hugely agree with you. I think it's simply because it's just not who he is. I'm kinda the same way. I was raised in a Christian family and I used to not cuss because i thought it was wrong. And now, I don't have a problem with cussing. I have friends who cuss all the time and is makes no difference in the way I treat them. But for me, to decide to start cussing would be a conscious decision just to please people, and that's not who i am. I never change myself for anyone, so i totally get where NF is coming from.

I was just listening to Nate. Love your Vids btw
Rakim started this rule! This is something more rappers should follow to better their skill
Just let him do his thing, he's killing it
Insane what he’s doing. Keep up the grind blacky
NF not swearing for me . Makes h stand out as a rapper he is so different!
I hope my little break down of your quote made since lol Love you Man , 1 last thing is it safe to say your basically the NF I’d TH-cam because you also choose not to “Breathe” as well
5:00 Tyler from Twenty one pilots doesn't swear in his raps
He brings across the anger so well by using his beats and his voice and I love even without the swearing he still lets you feel the anger or passion
I don't swear In my raps because my parents don't let me xD
I need to give him more credit. Great video as always homie 🙏🏽
Who else is more excited for december 1st than thanksgiving??
lmao
God bless him! I'm old enough to be his grandma & I've never cared for rap music, but his is incredible, I appreciate his stance on not swearing 👋🏼🎯💙🎶
Why are people commenting before theyve even watched the intro smh
because they wanna get likes on their comments
@@Acore-ly9qx exactly complete dumbasses😂
I love your videos on NF, he’s my favorite artist! Nice work!
NF is amazing. He’s one of the greatest artists I’ve ever heard
What's tall favorite NF song mine is the one that's says "I'm on the edge rn"
Options
The song is called “let you down”
@@zac3754 That's ironic because as NF fans he let us down by not knowing the name of the song
rap god
@Shaun Pruitt dam bro das crazy but i dont remember asking
I've been listening to him for about 6 months and i have never even noticed. NF is a legend
I think you really love NF
You should do a video on why BlackySpeakz has such a dedicated fan base, it really could help someone else trying to build a fan base for themselves
You also can’t ignore his influence in the gaming community there a big part of his streams I believe
Really? I never noticed (not sarcasm I actually didn't )
It's as simple as him being faithful to his convictions. That's all! Ain't ever gonna change tho.
Nf to me he opened up what I've been feeling inside so far the good parts one of my favorite song is called why
When he's writing lyrics he probably includes them letting out all the emotion and then when he releases it he cuts it out.
dude, NF has gotten so much better as time goes by. it's crazy. favorite artist hands down
Because NF can cuss you out without cussing you out...lol 😂
I hugely agree with you. I think it's simply because it's just not who he is. I'm kinda the same way. I was raised in a Christian family and I used to not cuss because i thought it was wrong. And now, I don't have a problem with cussing. I have friends who cuss all the time and is makes no difference in the way I treat them. But for me, to decide to start cussing would be a conscious decision just to please people, and that's not who i am. I never change myself for anyone, so i totally get where NF is coming from.
NF a different type of fye🔥
I think it’s great because a lot of artists use swear words just to make wack ass bars rhyme, it shows the creativity in the writing.
