NF specifically is a huge inspiration for me, not just the realness of his lyrics but the fact that he's non-explicit. He has dark themes but he's not conforming to the normal subject matter of a mainstream rapper. I keep my music free if that trendy stuff not because I have anything against those doing it (I listen to Logic, Kendrick, Polo G, Juice etc.) but because it's not who I am. Same way with Logic's positivity and Hopsin's messages.

I am a big NF fan, been at two of his concerts and I absolutely love his music because I can relate to it. BUT nowadays I mostly listen to modern rap in the style of Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Polo G etc. So there are people who like both! It still is an interestic topic and you covered it well, great video!

No pressure is the album of the year for me TBH. I feel like I'm in high school again listening to him as Jcole dropped born sinner. Man those were the years. 2010s had some great albums. And he set the tone for lyrics and his flows was butter I couldnt skip anything on the last album. I could skip alot of NF and Hops music. TBH but with logic it wasn't until coadm is where I could skip a few songs.

I think that NF is freaking awesome... He has an extremely large fan base...I like his music and his style... I was always an outcast on the black side of my family and used to get so much shit for being quote unquote "White Washed" because i enjoyed listening to metal and being in mosh pits. The amount of times i have been told i was not black for letting other black people know i enjoyed Anthrax, Iron Maiden or Pantera over 99% over most rap music when i was younger, these days i'm completely open minded to great music no matter the genre but still being an outcast can be a downer but if you use it for rocket fuel you can break through all the negative shit like the god damn stratosphere. What I find NF, Hopsin, and Logic have in common is that they are ALL TALENTED! They each have their own unique styles and fanbases (even though I'd personally argue that a fan of NF's is likely a fan of Logic's and even Hopsin's), but ultimately they stand out to me because they make music that is sonically pleasing, lyrically well-composed, and simply fun & relatable. I don't buy into this "them being in their own lane" deal aka the notion that these guys only belong in a particular niche because these 3 dudes have the accolades and hit records; they've won awards / RIAA certifications for their songs, racked up multi-millions of TH-cam views on their music videos, consistently sell out live shows across the world, and are the talk among true hip hop circles as the most skilled & even overlooked rappers. As far as them not being "accepted" in the wider hip hop culture, well, that's just the game being on some bullshit imo. The game is fucked; if it was the 90s or even early 2000s, these dudes would absolutely be recognized all over by everyone as elite MCs. We live in an era where trash ass individuals who call themselves rappers can make hot garbage and the masses will love it because it oftentimes does not require them to feel or think.

I'd have to disagree. Jack is pretty mainstream and his subject matter is so average. For the most part he raps about the same thing (mainly girls and him flexing). Gazebo was his most authentic project and I think it'd be cool if he makes more stuff like that...

All three of these rappers are amazing. Although you may get made fun of for listening to them, at least you know that their fans are real ones. I grew up with listening to NF since my parent‘s didn‘t want me to listen to any music that would involve any swearing, but eventually I found my way into the „Lil Baby“-type of rap. I still fuck with the music of both artists. They are both great.

No pressure is the album of the year for me TBH. I feel like I'm in high school again listening to him as Jcole dropped born sinner. Man those were the years. 2010s had some great albums. And he set the tone for lyrics and his flows was butter I couldnt skip anything on the last album. I could skip alot of NF and Hops music. TBH but with logic it wasn't until coadm is where I could skip a few songs.
RTJ4 is a better album for me but I loved No Pressure nevertheless 👌🏼🔥💯

I think that NF is freaking awesome... He has an extremely large fan base...I like his music and his style... I think Logic and Hopsin hold/held their own pretty good..but at the same time a rap artist has to have alligator skin to be in this game...because the vultures are always circling and waiting to swoop down to snatch up their pound of flesh.
Before the video even starts, I want to thank you for bringing this up dude, i know it's hip hop based but i personally connect with this right away. I was always an outcast on the black side of my family and used to get so much shit for being quote unquote "White Washed" because i enjoyed listening to metal and being in mosh pits. The amount of times i have been told i was not black for letting other black people know i enjoyed Anthrax, Iron Maiden or Pantera over 99% over most rap music when i was younger, these days i'm completely open minded to great music no matter the genre but still being an outcast can be a downer but if you use it for rocket fuel you can break through all the negative shit like the god damn stratosphere. I like this video a lot, as an artist who never really knows where they fit in. I always feel weird when I have a new fan, but they come from everywhere and it doesn’t limit me as much and I should be happy about that.

What I find NF, Hopsin, and Logic have in common is that they are ALL TALENTED! They each have their own unique styles and fanbases (even though I'd personally argue that a fan of NF's is likely a fan of Logic's and even Hopsin's), but ultimately they stand out to me because they make music that is sonically pleasing, lyrically well-composed, and simply fun & relatable. I don't buy into this "them being in their own lane" deal aka the notion that these guys only belong in a particular niche because these 3 dudes have the accolades and hit records; they've won awards / RIAA certifications for their songs, racked up multi-millions of TH-cam views on their music videos, consistently sell out live shows across the world, and are the talk among true hip hop circles as the most skilled & even overlooked rappers. As far as them not being "accepted" in the wider hip hop culture, well, that's just the game being on some bullshit imo. The game is fucked; if it was the 90s or even early 2000s, these dudes would absolutely be recognized all over by everyone as elite MCs. We live in an era where trash ass individuals who call themselves rappers can make hot garbage and the masses will love it because it oftentimes does not require them to feel or think.
Even though I don't listen to nf he definitely deserves to he in the category of hip hop as rap is his main sound and the few songs I have heard he has killed it

I'd have to disagree. Jack is pretty mainstream and his subject matter is so average. For the most part he raps about the same thing (mainly girls and him flexing). Gazebo was his most authentic project and I think it'd be cool if he makes more stuff like that...

All three of these rappers are amazing. Although you may get made fun of for listening to them, at least you know that their fans are real ones. They have all been a huge inspiration to me and they deserve more support. Like stated in the video, any great person will get hated on, but at that point we know that they are good enough for people to spend their time on them.
Nf doesn't make songs. He makes PERFECT songs. He said it multiple times"if a song isn't perfect it doesn't make in annalbum". Thats why he has few songs but all of them are hits.
