Loved this video. I've done project life since 2015 and have experimented with a few strategies but have never graduated from novice. I'm hoping watching these videos will help me up my game!
Awesome! 🖤 I missed your PL videos so much these last few months. Glad you're feeling motivated to go on with your album. Those videos are my favorite. Thank you for sharing Ali. 😁
I lost my creative mojo for Project Life and it gives me great anxiety to be so behind. Watching your Craft The Story and this video helps so much. Hearing you say you had also lacked motivation was something I could relate to but also following that up with suggestions on how to move forward was great. Now I can't wait to get back into my studio with a new view of how I want to approach the project. Cheer to a new start. Thank you for sharing!
I love watching your process, Ali. I'm new to PL (2020 was my first year documenting 12x12 double page weekly) & I'm currently in the honeymoon phase with the project. It's nice to see though that it was easy for you to pick back up after time had passed. I keep fairly up-to-date on my PL (usually a few weeks behind), but I keep notes in a planner of what is happening throughout the week. I always enjoy hearing your perspective and watching you create!
LOL. I gave up on 2020 half way through as well. December Daily 2020 gave me the motivation to start over again in 2021 - and once again I gave up half way through. Lol. Thankfully December Daily 2021 (and two week of time off work) gave me the motivation to pick them both back up again. Just finished them both! Most are only one spread per month, but I’m calling it good.
I work on PL by using the posts/photos from my Facebook acct. I post 3-4 times a week, a picture w/comment, and I can scroll back when I am ready to work on my weekly spread (sometimes one or 2 month after the fact). I've always (since 2004) uploaded my photos to the external drive, by month within each year - everything is always easy to locate
Omg, I did the same thing I stopped halfway through the year, it was stressing me out and now Im working on my DD Album 2020 before I go back to the PL 2020 😭 You are such an inspiration Ali! 🥰 We can always go back anyway we just have to rest for a while... 🥺☺️
Is it Chatbooks? I’m not consistent with posting on Instagram, or Facebook. I forget to post half the time lol great layouts, I’m doing 9x12 this year, trying to stay up to date but not stressing 😊

So happy this was helpful for you! Let that anxiety go - it's never too late.

Thanks Kelly!
I really enjoyed seeing you back at Project Life! You’re my inspiration for doing this style in 2021, thanks for taking us along.

So good watching this! Re-enforces that sometimes stepping back from something is the right thing.
Totally feeling that too.

I loved watching your decision process for this, Ali. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!

Let that stress go! We are all doing the best we can at this point. We'll see how long it takes me to get back to it for September - ha.
@@AliEdwardsDesignInc hope we make it! 🤞🏽❤️

These turned out great! I’m curious, do you recall how long you spent on creating these pages?
