Tutorials are one of the most important parts of any game. If you have a bad tutorial, the players will have an awful experience at first and may even leave the game earlier than expected.
To fix your stupid text wall of a tutorial, all you need to do is to implement your tutorial into gameplay in some way.
A really simple and over-exaggerated example is telling the player to jump over a hole at the start of a platformer game. This way the player gets more feedback on how things work and will make your game more learnable.
If you can, try to teach your mechanics slowly over time. You don't want to overload players with too much information as they will forget too easily and get confused in the end.
In my game called Umblight, I gave some easy puzzles for the players to solve that mimic a single turn of a real battle. This way they can learn how the basics of fighting works before moving on to the more complicated stuff like combining cards and skills.

The best example of a good tutorial is the half life 2 opening where it's hard to tell that you're even in one

Could you please tell me the names of the games you used as examples? Some of them looked very fun to play!

Sorr, I have to ask, what is your nationality? You sound like a hungarian.
