- From the Disney Collection we have Toy Story 4 Buzz Lightyear, he is very similar to the Disney Store Buzz, we just a couple of differences like the face, he looks more of the serious Buzz like the one from the first Toy Story movie. He has 11 phrases and karate chop feature and the button to make his helmet do that swoosh thing.

that's the face he makes when he wakes up for the first time in toy story 1. or when he looks down at woody laughing at him on the ground mocking him later in the movie. he's even got the phrases from the first movie & third too. yeah I may pick this one up but I rather see a smiling buzz than a "where the heck am I?" face buzz looking around. there's two options: there's a buzz that comes in a box of his ship in the first movie then there's this buzz. but I rather make something up with a pretend shuttle box then the real one. he's got the space ranger attitude face alright. now that's the right stuff.
nice a custom box would look cool, this buzz is usually on sale now at jc penney, not sure why thats the only place i see this buzz, it might even be cheaper since the new movie lightyear came out.
I did buy a couple buzz light-years both toy story & lightyear movie. recently. I like the gimic buzz lightyear from the new movie line with the rocket pack & launcher & even the glow in the dark one too but that glow in the dark gimic..😬😬 gotta get fixed. I originally bought both of them so I could attach the rocket pack to the glow in the dark one to feel like the real buzz lightyear from toy story. since the colors. but that doesn't work very well so I kept the rocket pack with the gimic buzz that came with it & gotta say the gimic is really awesome you can bend his arm in a position then switch his leg to the side when you press against it & he can do an uppercut or a super man flight pose. he is really cool. & you can pull his wings out without pressing a button. but I want the original one from when I was a kid, mine never had a back or wings and I lost him growing up but now the day has come for me to retrieve the lost memory toy. so far I've retrieved a few of my lost child hood toys getting older. but here's a story I had this general grievous action figure from when I first got one of my very first star wars toys a battle pack. in the pack I had an utapau arc trooper, commander Cody, obi wan Kenobi & general grievous. I lost commander Cody & the arc trooper & grievous too. but I held onto Kenobi for a long time. I also got an Anakin Skywalker too. & my very first Darth Vader. table & removable accessories to repair him from the scene in the movie after the duel. so I lost grievous & the troopers but I finally got ahold of grievous again by himself at my 99 cent store sometime ago. & then finally found a way back to my collection.
I used to have a lot of toys I lost in my time growing up. so now I finally got a new Mr potato head I used to love playing with I lost, I have his bowler hat from the original Mr potato head I used to have along with a hair piece, & I'm glad he's back. I got woody back along with buzz just basic standard Pixar Mattel figures. costed about ten bucks as much as Mr potato costed. zurg was expensive got him from the new movie because never had zurg before. so he's a new character. but if I can somehow grab a buzz from jc penny or one from Amazon online in his original ship box design I could test zurg vs lightyear with all the action I like he has that face sculpt that there is the space ranger attitude just like he said in toy story treats. now that's the right stuff. if I'm gonna get buzz I might as well grab woody too since can't have buzz without woody. I was gonna get woody when I was buying zurg the same day but I didn't. I thought about my son someday. if I have one I thought it would be a good gift for him to him from me later when he's born I know I was hard to handle with growing up I was diagnosed with a disability. so I figure he might be special too just like me & his mom. who happens to live right down where I am. but it's a high school sweetheart story you know? it's normal.
and I better get ahold of this buzz before they run out because my jc Penney every time I check the number of how many are in stock drop. real quick last I checked there was four then when I checked back again. there's only 3 left at my jc penny in the mall atleast a drive hour long later ahead from where I live in the city. or town.
let's just say it's outside of town in another town. because it requires a drive on the highway to get there.
the best thing about this buzz toy is it has Andy instead of Bonnie because admit it Andy is more cooler than Bonnie in toy story. I do like Bonnie has a competition match dinosaur for rex but everything else is not what made toy story 1 & 2 enjoyable in the first place. if anything I would have expected for toy story 3 & 4. 3 should have been the close cap for Andy going into adulthood & putting the toys in the attic or taking them with him to college. toy story 4 years later Andy is around 30 and there's a boy named Antony. it's not Anthony it's Antony. so like Andy which represents Andrew he has a son named Antony. & his name could just be anty. or antie. antie stumbles upon a collection of old toys sitting in a toy box or a box like the one used to donate to Bonnie in 3 but Antony opens the box & finds his father's old collection of toys. he takes the box down to his room & Andy sees his son playing with woody & buzz & the gang he tells the story about how he used to love playing with these toys at his age & when he thought about giving them to a little girl his mom knew from daycare, but he changed his mind & decided to keep them & take em to college. he stored the box of toys in his college room dorm closet & would always never bare to look at them. he was too busy living up to grow up and be a father like a dad that he never had. he stored away his old toys & never lifted a finger to touch them for years until his own son was born.
Andy introduces his toys to his son. he starts with woody & Antony asks who is woody? & Andy remembers it was a gift his father gave to him when he was young when his father was dying of polio disease. as a last present from his dad to Andy. woody always been there. he introduces buzz next, says he got buzz for his birthday the last few days before moving from his old house, he introduces bullseye & Jesse next tells him he got surprised when his mom bought him new toys coming home from cowboy camp one night. he introduces Rex, hamm, slinky, Mr potato head & Mrs potato head & the three green aliens. unfortunately there used to be more like an R.C & soldiers, barrel of monkeys, a wrestler, etch, a pair of binoculars toy, wheezy, bo peep & her sheep. a Barbie that his sister used to have. before donation to Sunnyside. & that was all he remembered. so as you can probably guess?
what is toy story 4 about? it's about the gang getting played with again by Andy's son. & guess what? remember sid? welp he's back too. this time he's got a son & he's a real bully to Andy's son. he takes other kids things & starts making em his own. yeah sid Philips returns but not the actual sid he's around 35 during this time speculating he was older than Andy in toy story 1. but yeah his name is spike Philips. he tortures kids things & stuff they have. like sid did.
so woody & buzz kind of have wondered well this boy is being mean. let's teach him a lesson but now it's opposite, it's not woody and buzz anymore it's exploring the outside life of other toys like star wars & marvel & DC & other things. anyway Antony has a birthday what does he get? well lucky here he gets two special toys. he gets Luke Skywalker & Darth Vader for his birthday. speculating they have original trilogy characters going on in the future but anyway they're just like woody & buzz. only better. Luke has a gimic that allows him to summon the lightsaber from his belt with a magnet, he can pose, and move & Bend he has catchphrases when you put him with another figure Darth Vader's gimic is he can choke another action figure balancing the magnetic field of a magnet in his hand & the other in another figures neck. so Antony loves these toys really much in fact he replaced buzz & woody over Luke & Vader he's pretty much into star wars now. all he thinks about is star wars & decorated his room with posters of star wars buzz & woody they become very concerned and so do the other toys. Antony pretty much Keeps only Luke & Vader & the other toys but he throws buzz & woody in the toy box like they're garbage & starts using his playtime with the toys with Luke and Vader. he imagines Jesse like princess Leia & makes bullseye the noble steed like donkey in Shrek. Pixar ripping off DreamWorks. telling them to get back up. and the others they're the rebels. they help against Vader. buzz & woody become jealous of their subsequent replacement knockoffs & go to confront them & just like buzz they both believe they're the real Luke Skywalker & Darth Vader in the movies. so spike is doing something he is pretty much doing what sid did except this time it's not a combat Carl it's a Freddy Fazbear Action figure strapped to an explosive bomb. the toys are aware of spikes doing & the bomb explodes destroying the Freddy action figure. spike laughs like a bomb maniac & later that night Antony is playing with Luke and Vader & his mom comes in and suggests to go out to eat. Antony leaves the room and asks if he can bring one of his toys Andy tells his son downstairs one toy. just like his mom in the first movie. Luke is deprived by this & asks the same magic ball will Antony pick him? the ball replies what it told woody in the first movie, and he throws the ball angrily away at the wall. he looks to Vader & gets an idea. just like before he uses a plan to distract Vader & the lamp on antony 's desk knocks Vader out the window & buzz & woody rush over to see what Luke just did. Vader flew into the bushes & that's where Luke's motive comes into plan. woody exactly knows where this is going & buzz knows it too. so you can guess that this story for toy story 4 is somewhat rehashing the first movie without bo peep & the rest in it. it's new characters from old characters. I should probably write it & make a what if universe someday.
you had an awesome toy collection there, i still do have some of my toys when i was young, i couldnt keep them all, i lost some, i broke some and some i forgot, kind of like andy i have some in boxes thats in the storage, i cant keep them all here, i would ran out of space , plus there already old and some are brittle can easily break but i save them just for memories sentimental value. its interesting how easily the action figures adds up. i like both toy story buzz and the new lightyear it gives buzz another look, we are just hoping they would make more lightyear with different suits kind of like iron man. by august 3 lightyear will on disney plus so we get to watch it again which is pretty cool, im sure their are some scenes or phrases or story lines i missed, we really want them to make a sequel but with the movie not doing well, we still hope they make another, im sure they are making there revenue through merchandise too, i still see more new lightyear toys coming up like the spotlight series lightyear which i am waiting for, also i havent seen a heavily articulated 12 inch buzz so im waiting for that too.
I haven't seen it yet, hopefully by the time I'm typing this I'll be able to see it when I get home from Vacation.
I was going to say I did manage to get my jc penny buzz lightyear online, so now I'm waiting to go home to see it. Of course I can't have buzz without woody I'm looking for woody right now. But I am happy to be interested in space things outside of earth. Star wars & buzz lightyear are both my favorite things. I'm still shocked as everyone is David Bowie managed to foreshadow the space ranger toy action figure in toy story. STarman. Gotta be one of his songs I enjoy listening.
Edit: scratch that I found woody & now I have the duo I've been searching for. This post a few days old, but I came home from vacation last night & I'm happy I got everything I needed from my vacation complete together in full circle & it feels good to be home. Especially now I'm back with my toys & my own room.
Thank you for inspiring me to buy this buzz lightyear action figure. Something I couldn't have thought better about myself for new ideas. Atleast it's a break away from star wars. I'm relieved of that.
It really looks like how buzz got rested in Toy Story 3 I mean it looks very good but I don’t like the laser sound it’s not that bad just wired

Can't beat $25 bucks for the Buzz Light-year. I would chrome him out like my childhood Buzz I had years ago. Be a lot cheaper!

Usually something heppend to that buzz because when I went to jcpenny and look at this buzz Lightyear... I pressed the blue button and it worked Usually the blue button says his phrases you probably had a buzz that heppend like broken or something
maybe , we also had other buzz collector that had the same issue with the blue button, or it could be why this buzz is more of a discount compare to disney store buzz, it has less features.

There are many reasons why people have deliberately not made 100% accurate Toy Story Toys
But one of the reasons that’s just dawned on me is that
There’s a lot of people that love toy story like me and you
But there’s a lot of haters who absolutely hate it
For a long time I’ve been saying that it’s impossible
Especially buzz lightyear
But, it really isn’t
Yea!! No matter what there's always going to be someone or somebody will either like it or hate it. ive learned to accept that, to each and there own. For me on the other hand Toy Story has always and still is one of my favorite movies, brought so much joy and memories. When i buy there action figures i feel like im Andy that never grew up lolz that still has there figs. i believe thats the big difference between me and Andy ill never donate my Toy Story action figures.

I just bought a disney store buzz and when i pop open the wings sometimes the red and green lights are not blinking.
Do i need to change the batteries ? Is there any chance the lights aren't blinking because of the high pressure while the wings spread. The wings make loud noise 😢
What can i do ??
If you just bought it at a Disney store you should be able to return it , that’s a quality issue probably wiring that’s why sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t when you open the wings.
