The 2001 Mattel Buzz was my first Buzz Lightyear figure. He was and still is my favorite even though mine's wings broke and I still haven't gotten around to fixing them. Other than that and a little faded paint he still works like new.

It’s probably one of the Disney Store Buzz Lightyear figures from the early 2000’s. They mostly used the same molds as the Thinkway ones, but made a few odd design changes. There’s two different versions of him with the button either being transparent or solid red, with the solid red one being a newer version I believe.

He’s basically a compact animatronic. He has motors that allow his arms, head, face, legs, and waist to move, and there’s a ton of different ways to interact with him. There’s a remote that goes with him that does a lot of the actions, but it’s only really necessary for a few functions and there’s enough on the actual figure to justify at least $50. The only issue is that I’ve noticed they can be really faulty and often have broken motors, I ended up buying a second one just to tear it apart and use the working parts from it to fix the other one (I put the other one back together, but most of his motors don’t work anymore and he’s essentially partially paralyzed).

I used to have all 20 buzz light years as well but apparently due to having an alcoholic father he decided that it was going to be funny to destroy every single one and make me watch how he destroyed them I'm not going to say but if you do have any duplicates that you are not mind sending my way please let me know because I would really love to start getting them back again since the Disney store at my Mall is now closed down and no other place I know carries a buzz lightyear stuff or toy story stuff so if you have any duplicates please let me know it would really be a big help

My biggest complaint about all of the "full-size" ("12-in."...??) Buzz Lightyear figures is the super-short wingspan with the wings "extended". That's really idiotic - there's no reason on earth why the Buzz figure wingspan could not resemble the wingspan of the figure in the first movie...!! When I bought my first Buzz figure, right after they were introduced in 1995, I guess, I was SO disappointed with that aspect of the figure...!!
