    also, when placing the sleeve i noticed that you counted however many holes back in order to line it up properly. i've slowed the video and tried pausing in order to line the sleeve up but id rather not just be guessing at this point in the build.

    Hello.
    First of all great work, I love everything you do.
    Second, some questions. Do you not add a lining for the inner jacket? Or fabric pockets on the zippers?

      I just bought the pattern but I have bought some material to make a lining and I a going to double up the corral piece, so it is nice leather on each side,

    Great Design... can you tell me it the stitching holes are 1.5mm and 6mm spacings? Being a Dieselpunk.ro bag maker, I'm set up for this spacing. Actually, I'm trying to guess how long it will take me to make this thing. I'm 75 years old now and I want to be sure that I have enough time left on this side of the grass to make it.....lol

      Looks like 5mm spacing. I was going to get a set of 5mm punches for this project but decided on doing it the same way I do all of my pattern builds...one hole at a time. It takes a lot longer, I'm sure, but I find it very therapeutic so I don't mind.

    Хорошо, но много не додумано. Что это, куртка или мотокуртка ? Нет карманов, только муляж, нет подкладки, если это байкерская куртка, тогда где место под защиту, да и в молниях отсутствует ветрозащита. Если только побаловаться для тренировки шитья.

    • @scottmorrison8579
      @scottmorrison8579 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      These are things you can add as needed or desire. The lining isn't too difficult and if you've ever taken a jacket apart you can see how the top pockets are made, then it's up to you how to make them to suit your desire..or omit them altogether when cutting out the pattern. The bottom pockets are included.

    • @user-mr6uy5dw9i

      Подклад можно под замутить, можно исполнить как просто жакет, без всякой байкерской мишуры, например из защиты или велюра😉

    what about the pockets, dummy?

    • @maddawgnoll
      @maddawgnoll 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a biker jacket. Pockets are in your pants, dummy
      Not saying adding pockets is a bad idea. But not necessarily a must

    • @amuzkup
      @amuzkup 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      it looks like a biker jacket only visually. No protection for elbows, shoulders, back. It's not convenient without pockets. It also falls short of a regular jacket, no padding, no pockets. But not good.

    • @maddawgnoll
      @maddawgnoll 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@amuzkup I personally, if I were to make one, would line it and add inside pocket at the very minimum. These things you mention can easily be added to the pattern if you were to buy it and modify it slightly You're right though. It's not a protective jacket, but more of a style. It would still be an interesting project and a lot of work with all the hand stitching done.

    • @scottmorrison8579
      @scottmorrison8579 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The term "Biker jacket" is the STYLE of jacket. People asking about the padding or the "Protection" need to understand this.9 out if 10 leather projects you find online are what you would call a starting point. You can add to them or omit from them at will. If you want protective padding I would make one size larger than you would normally wear and add your padding but make sure you're using too grade leather and thread because now you're making a Safety Device. This, as most projects are, is beautiful starting point that you can embellish on. Thus is not a safety jacket, it's a STYLE.
