you've gotta be a professional documentary maker, or something. this video and past videos I've watched , are something we would watch on tv (i'm 52 :) ) made by a big company ..... absolutely amazing!! thank you
@@BakerOverland Your work is above youtube quality. i hope someone scoops you up quick, Netflix, amazon, PBS.... definitely see it coming. Cheers and thank you
Awesome! It's great video! Presented a meaningful content. You invested well enough to inspire others. Your video shows your great talent and emotion well. What I can see in this video is to make it enjoyable for someone to watch. If keep uploading good videos then you will be successful. I hope most people will share your channel and give you a lot of encouragement and support. Have a nice day!
Great job! I think Independence Overland is one of the most legit creators on YT… to score a trip with Tyler speaks volumes to me about you! New sub here.
I was absolutely honored that he agreed to this. And I agree. He’s one of the best out there and about half of the epic shots in this are thanks to him.
Tyler sent me here. Great video, especially with the history. I've been camping up Half Moon Creek when in CO for the last 7 years. Beautiful, and cant beat those cool temps in July.
I just wanted to tell you guys thank you I stayed up a little bit too late. Lol. Your video of your travels was worth it. Now i can go to sleep and dream of my travels in the future with my 1994 Chevy 4X4 that's being revived. Have a great night. Thank you again!!!
Such a good video, love how this story unfolded! Got to watch while camping in the ozarks with a lucky spot that has service, fortunately when I got your notification for the premier, I had to watch. 👊🏼
1st time watching your channel and WOW. Love the history of the area and the views are absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed every minute of this video..thank you👍
Thank you. It seemed like it matched the majesty of the mountains more than some other types of music. I’m glad you agreed with the selection. I selected pieces by Bach for that.
This really was an excellent story. Been a fan for a while man, but geeze… you really went above and beyond on this one. I just watched it with my kids. We all loved it.
Man that makes me feel great that the whole crew was able to watch. Thank you for sharing it and letting me know. Tell them I said thank you for checking it out too.
Congrats!! Man... Congrats for the way you told this story. I am from Portugal, an ocean apart of the US but i felt like if it i was living on those mining days
WOW, I'm just a little guy here on TH-cam just kinda doing it for fun with a couple of videos on my channel and when I saw and communicated with TSTN and X overland adventures I thought how inspiring. Now that I've found your channel (while watching your quit my job video) dude your process of video, narration, etc... is absolutely incredible. Agree with the guy below who stated you're narration and everything else is is better than on regular TV. (and I'm 53 lol, cause that guy said he's 52). Subscribed!!!
Everyone has said it; f’ing amazing. Too much to say, but awesome commentary, videography, music, and editing. Better than any professional tv production. Fantastic job, and excited for the next adventure!
Dude I just found your channel today (left you a comment on the “I Quit My Job” video), I am blown away by how good your content is. I’m getting XOverland vibes, not to say they’re similar stylistically or aesthetically, but in terms of the quality of the videos, the cinematography, the editing, the integration of really good music and narration, etc. There’s lots of good off-road/overlanding TH-cam channels with more of VLOG-style content, which is great, not putting anyone down, but this stands out in terms of seeming like it was produced by a legit production company, as something you’d find on a streaming platform. This channel is way underrated... I have a feeling you’ve got some serious growth in your future if you can get more people exposed to your content, because they’ll immediately realize how good it is.
Wow! That means a ton. I try and make content that I enjoy watching so it always feels nice when I hear that someone else appreciates it too. Welcome to the channel!
I grew up in this part of the country. Spent summers with my father and older brothers gold mining. My brothers would make enough to pay for their college every year. I have a ton of stories of the mill and surrounding area. I will tell a quick one. If you noticed how the mill was tilting over it would have already fell over if my father and an explosive expert didn’t bllow the ore bucket cable that runs from the top to the mill. Used to love the elk calls pretty much every day. I will try and post some old pictures if I can figure out how to. Great job.
So cool! Would love to see the pictures. Unfortunately you can’t post them here in the comments but if you email them to me I can share them. info@starshinemedia.co
Outstanding video. The content, cinematography, commentary, and quality.... It's fantastic. I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. Would love to hit up the Ozarks with you guys sometime. We live in KC, so we're not too far.
What an amazing video, awesome Toyotas help :)! You’re storytelling is at such a beautiful pace, drawing us into the moment! Reminds me of the Yellowstone park documentary with Kevin Costner (and I’m pretty sure he had a bottomless budget for that on Paramount+). Keep it up, we will keep watching!
What I find funny, or sad really, is I live in CO and have a truck with a RTT. This is all I want to do. Do I ever do it? Never. Why? Who knows... Sweet video. You just popped up on recommended. Subbed and looking forward to more.
Time to make it happen dude! You've got some of the most beautiful spots to check out in your backyard. If I were you I'd plug into some groups (you can find a bunch on Facebook) go to some rigs and coffee type events, meet other dudes in the space and invite yourself on some trips. That's how I got started. Good luck and thanks for the sub!
Man what an epic adventure with some amazing people! Would have been great to tag along but as I learned a couple years ago the high altitude is not my friend.
Great video but just want to point out that this is not a mine. This is the Champion Mill. All of the ariel tramways you referenced before brought ore to this mill. The actual mines are much farther up and are much more indiscreet on the mountainside. Great video though but there is not shafts or adits in the vacinity of the mill. Its an incredible structure and an iconic landmark in Colorado but it is incorrect to call it a mine.
over all really nice footage and a nice made video but I am not a fan of that loud classic music. It does not fit some parts of the video. I do like the original storytelling in the background. You deserve more views and followers for sure.
@@BakerOverland Don't feel bummed by my comment, you do great work! And I keep watching more of your older videos (I am a brand new channel subscriber). Keep up the great work and quality
@@hoch_und_runter oh I’m not man. Thanks for the follow up though. I was experimenting in this one with the classical music (you’ll notice that my other videos don’t use that genre). I think it works well in this video but I know not everyone has the same taste. All good 👍🏻 ☺️
@@BakerOverland oh the music is great for the parts when you read the story. I found it not that great around 8:44 starting with the lightning in the Prairie but I understand what you tried to do. Btw. these shots are awesome, in the middle of nowhere with dark sky and lighting. awesome!
