turning a Putty Knife into a KNIFE knife

In a collection of tools I received from some friends of ours (Thank you Jim and Kristie!!), was an old putty knife, that was just begging to become a knife knife. So I remove the putty.
This is an experiment (I am not a professional knifemaker) which seems to have spawned a lot more of these, so, take it as that :)

Maybe you could install the side handle that came with the grinder instead of the eye bolt

I have the handle, but this allows for finer control IMHO. Have not put it back on since adding the eye bolt. It's safe to say I'm pretty happy with it :)

In the couple years since that video (which is only now starting to pick up steam for some reason?) my editing skills have gotten marginally better and I normalize the audio now 😉

Did you anneal the knife to soften it before hand?

There was no need to do so since it is extremely thin material.
