I attended the 1964 World's Fair in New York. I was 13 and saw the Pieta. I thought it was the most beautiful work of art I had ever seen. Fast forward to seeing it 2014 at the Vatican, I still hold the Pieta as the most beautiful work of art. Thank you to those who made it possible for the Pieta to visit the Fair.
