- The Cruise, Capote, Moneyball, and now, Foxcatcher. Bennett Miller doesn't make a lot of movies, but when he does, they speak quietly and carry a big stick. Bennett is not a big talker, but he sat down with David Poland for a chat and like his films, says as much when he is wordless as when he is talking.

I can't believe this has been five years since Foxcather. Damn, is this movie breathtaking. I can't wait for Christmas Carol.
The slightly out of focus flag in the back ground was amazing.
He has made yet another brilliant film.
I Wish Every Good,Health,Happiness and Creativity To Bennet Miller👏👍❤
I saw him live at NYFF at another talk. David got a lot more out of him here. BM also mentioned there he had a hard time talking live, he's just super reflective and uses his words carefully. Good job.
Really relieving to see such a master filmmaker so reserved and modest. It gives an introvert film buff like me someone to look up to.
Great fricking frame 🇺🇸👍👍👍
Great director👌 and handsome Man😍
David will you ever interview Paul Thomas Anderson ?
That will be up to Paul. So far, not willing.
DP/30 What do you mean by that? With you or just interviews in general?
dc c With me, though I don't feel singled out. You don't see him on video talking about his movies much.
It looks like you really like the film the master
Studio Steers Productions or love Philip Seymour Hoffman okay both
He’s so attractive! Unusual for a director, lol. Clearly uncomfortable during an interview. However, I love his work so much: Moneyball and especially Capote are great films. I also really like The Cruise. I wish I could see Foxcatcher soon! They fucked up the distribution in America.
He looks painfully exhausted. Hope he got some sleep after the interview.
Great interview(s) !
11:07 look he's taking a nap
David, the new camera makes the interviews look so much more professional. Excellent stuff. GH4?
Honestly, the only reason it can't look like this every time is money. It should. And more complicated sound as well. Trying to get the funding to shoot everything on this level will be a big focus this next year.
DP/30 Please email me if you need a shooter. I own a red scarlet and would do it for the opportunity just to listen to these people. stalbot207@gmail.com
DP/30, how come you have yet to interview Christopher Nolan? Is he too almighty for this show?
Maybe Nolan has never been asked to be interviewed here.
Perhaps it's because he interviews real directors
Iker C Then Paul Thomas Anderson isn’t a real director, huh?
what was your dp doing ? the camera stands still the whole time.. or was that just for focus ?
Would you ever interview Lars Von Trier?
David, where's a Joaquin Phoenix interview? PLEEEEEEEEASE :D
That would be up to Joaquin. So far, not willing.
What a babe!
Looks great, but the mic placement is off getting too many weird throat sounds. Great stuff otherwise though.
I'm kind of attracted to him. Lucky Ashley Olsen.
