- With nearly 75,000 units sold in 2023, the #LexusNX is the best-selling compact luxury SUV in America. The #NX350h represents the sweet spot in the NX lineup due to its enticing blend of power and fuel efficiency. #Lexus has made some small changes to the #LexusNX350h for 2024 and the result is still a unique entry in the segment due to its full #Hybrid powertrain.

Happy Saturday everyone! If you want a compact luxury SUV that is also a conventional hybrid, Lexus is the only brand in this segment with that kind of powertrain. All other rivals are either PHEV or full EV's and that still gives Lexus a very unique offering in the segment and that's why we consider the hybrid NX 350h to be the sweet spot in the lineup.
I own the 2016 NX hybrid. Very reliable vehicle. The materials still look new inside and outside. Change oil, filter and other fluids.
I just bought a 2024 Lexus NX350h. Best car I ever had, and I've had Lexuses for the past 20 years. This car is plush, high tech, and has plenty of pep even as a hybrid. Love the 14" touch screen and the heads-up display. I'm getting great mileage, even though I live out in the country and do a lot of highway driving. I can easily get 42mph in city, and often higher.
How about noise in the cabin?
You will hear hard acceleration, but mostly it's very quiet.
Hello! I recently purchased a 2025 NX 350h premium. It’s advertised at 38 mpg highway and 41 city. When traveling on the highway, I average 38 mpg. However, during my daily commute around the city, I average about 36 mpg on eco and 34 on normal. The Lexus app tells me I drive excellent and I use premium gas. Can you think of any other reason as to why I’m not hitting the 41 mpg in the city? I live in Louisiana so the weather is far from cold at the present.
@@dr.anniepurrl How many miles are on your car? When mine was new (I got it with 10 miles on it) my mileage wasn't so great. A car begins to get broken in around 500 miles, but not completely broken in until 1,000 miles. My mileage has steadily increased, and now, with 2,000 miles on the car, I often get 40+ mpg even on highway miles, driving in regular mode. I live in a rural area, and to get anywhere city-like, I have to drive about 20 miles at highway speeds. In town, I will put it on eco mode and get better mileage. Like you, I was concerned when I first got the car because it seemed like the mileage was only so-so. But it continues to improve. I also use 91 octane gas exclusively in the car. If your car is still very new, you probably need to give it time. At least that was my experience.
Thank you for this!!! It gives me something to look forward to. I’m at 1557 miles now!
Loving my Lexus NX350h! Got the same package on mine. Only difference is I got the white exterior/red interior. Got nothing but compliments from people, including strangers at the gas pump. Again, looks are subjective. So if anyone says it’s ugly 🤷🏻
Naveen loves lexus
The luxury package wheels look really good on this vehicle.
Great video again 👏🏾 👏🏾 The Lexus NX has had it's best sales since it's original release with this new redesign. It's doing extremely well for itself. It was already a best seller beforehand. Regardless of what the Naveen trolls say...
Love my NX 350 FSPORT in ultra sonic blue mica 🥵🥵🔥🔥
I picked up a 23 Nx350h over a year ago. Very happy with it but wish they made the trunk a little bigger.
I can't afford the price, but do like this vehicle.
lol naveen is already rambling😂
Lmao where’s he at??
This is the perfect vehicle for retirees, folks with no kids, and discerning adults. It's fuel-efficient, reliable, luxurious, and will move you. I tried last year to get one and seven Texas dealers could not help me. They said I would have to wait 6 to 12 months to get one if I put down a refundable deposit. I told them to kick rocks.
Last April, I was lucky and found a 2023 Lexus ES300h Ultra Luxury Trim, with additional options and dealer add-ons below M.S.R.P. We drove 300 miles to get her and traded in my 2014 Mercedes diesel SUV ML350. My wife is a great negotiator. LOL
I am averaging 42+ MPG in and around town and on toll roads here in the Houston area.
not good for folks w kids? how come?
@@pietrodibrazza4699 It's too small in the back seat unless you have no need for car seats and only two kids. The RX350h is better if you have kids.

Thank you for posting this video review. I’m shopping new hybrid options and this thorough review is very helpful.
Hey Sofyan😊 thanks a lot for this incredible review🎉
Atomic Silver is definitely the best silver out there!
Excellent presentation. I'm currently considering Lexus NX 350h, and this really helps with the decision
Hi! Love the review!
My 2024 does not have the ability to collapse and expand the Lexus menu while I’m in Apple CarPlay. Do you know if this requires a software update that’s available to the public?
As a '22 450h+ owner, I will say I am a big fan of the looks but probably at least a bit biased. Really love my car, my only gripe is I wish the seating position was a little lower (I'm over 6 foot). I'd also love an even bigger PHEV battery, but it is what it is. :)
Magnificent car, superb build and fit and finish. Lexus surpassed Mercedes, Bmw and Audi in these areas......
No they didn’t. Materials build quality fit finish other brands have far surpassed Lexus
@@naveenthemachine that's 100% nonsense Naveen. You know that. Lexus is best build carbrand around. Lc and Ls sedan surpass even Bentley, source Autovisie, Autoblog. Leading carmagazines in the Netherlands.
@@avdp9095 the people who think Lexus is the best quality in human history are stuck in the past. Every single brand has come a long way and surpassed what Lexus once was. It happens all the time
Just like back then blackberry was the go to choice for smartphones. But now every other brand has come forth and surpassed blackberry.
@@naveenthemachine lexus is 34 years old, humans, mlns of years mr Naveen.... .
No, Lexus builds superior powertrains, not interiors
are you sure about the auto lock and unlock walkaway feature not being present? my 2022 toyota camry has that feature.
Lexus knows what the purpose of their cars are and build exactly that. They don't make everything about performance which compromises the ride quality and fuel consumption. They just stick to their old ways hence their sales are so strong
Every other brand knows the purpose of their cars lol. Other SUVs bring luxury and comfort and ride quality to the table but they also add performance without excessively focusing on performance. A cx5 isnt a performance suv but it’s faster and drives better than the nx350
Why is the engine start button up high near the screen?
Regarding brake torquing, you cannot do that in Toyota/Lexus hybrids with PSD transmission. When you depress both pedals fully, the ECU goes into charge control mode. It is used to diagnose a bad battery cells when viewing live data on scan tool.
Sofyan, Thank you for your endorsement of the NX 350H. The people of Canada (Ontario in particular) gave so much money to Toyota to build them here so we really appreciate when folks actually buy them. 😆😆😆
People are discouraged to buy Lexus. as Lexus vehicles are one of most stolen vehicles in GTA. Sales of Lexus have dipped a lot in Peel specifically...
I just bought one!
I'd buy an NX made in Japan... There are a few!... And they have better fit and finish than the Canadian ones.
Japanese cars made in Japan are the way to go!
Keep your grubby Canadian hands off my Lexus! lol

I really wish Lexus would offer the F sport package on their standard hybrids for this and the RX
Great looking hatchback! Yes i know manufacturers call them cuvs so that Americans will buy them. The color really shows off the lines. Lexus interiors always look top class.
I would easily go with this version since I want my next vehicle to be a hybrid which will likely be a Toyota/Lexus. It would also be my third Lexus as I first had a 2017 IS200t F-Sport & currently a 2016 GS350 F-Sport that I bought back in June 2020 with 41k miles, now with 79k miles with no problems so far as expected. I've driven a couple of Lexus hybrids which were the ES300h & UX250h & far preferred them over the gas versions that I've also driven.
Acura really needs to come out with a RDX hybrid. Sure thr RDX is bigger but the NX pretty much has 0 competition.
Finally someone highlights the fact that the dash missing some stitching and extra boogie on the passenger side. It was quite a surprise to me that Lexus sort of "downgraded" this 2nd gen NX.
I have a facelifted 1st Gen from 2019 and the variety of dash materials and stitching make the 1st gen more upmarket in some ways.
Toyota never go wrong 👌

@@naveenthemachineSo Toyota’s sales in the past year don’t indicate they are doing something right? Like sure, Toyotas aren’t really exciting cars and don’t have the latest and greatest features but if people are buying them, surely they are doing something correctly? I’m curious, what is a good a car? Define what a good car is to you, even give an example of an actual car, whatever really just so I can understand you correctly.
@@austin.2716 put it this way
Compare a Toyota against any other brand and that other brand would be superior in every way from looks to interior to comfort to tech to interior space to driving experience to ride
smoothness to nvh etc
Most Toyota’s don’t do any of these well.
I love your review, so nice review, but this looks like an old car even though the 2024 model didn't change
Good Luck finding one; especially a high-end trim and in the colors you want in and out. I tried last year and was told to put down a deposit (refundable $2,000) and wait up to 12 to 16 months. In addition, the 2025 NX350h AWD is going to have better upgrades, so I would get on a list for a 2025 instead of a 2024.
trim?
Toyota is renowned for reliability, yet the Rx brand's large front grille appears dated. Honda's Acura brand was once on a similar path, but Acura has now excelled with a beautifully redesigned, aggressively styled aesthetic.
Agreed. The dated Rdx is still better than the new nx
The 2024 Lexus NX 350h AWD is a stylish and eco-friendly SUV that offers a comfortable ride and ample space for passengers and cargo. With its hybrid powertrain, you can enjoy the benefits of both gasoline and electric power, while the all-wheel drive system provides great traction and stability on various road conditions. In addition, the NX 350h AWD comes with a host of advanced safety features and cutting-edge technology, making it a great choice for those seeking a luxurious and reliable vehicle.
Am I the only person who prefers hood prop stick over hood struts?
It's a reliable car and it's not like I am going to open it every few days, and the struts always fail after 6 to 7 years and cost like 200 USD to replace
Very nice SUV, but this model is exactly why I bought my 2024 Toyota Venza XLE. Almost $55K and I bought mine Venza XLE for about $14K less. I'm glad I picked the Venza. Good job on this video.
I see a woman in her 50's driving this vehicle. She works a govt job, in a high end position, making up to or at at least six figures. Her life is comfortable, not chaotic. She's not looking for excitement.
Naveen…. You don’t know it yet but when you come home tonight from your shift at Burger King….. your mom traded her Camry in for a new Lexus NX! Time to face the light Naveen!
The NX has really come into it's own. Reviewers are really getting jaded. "Hood struts" are not a luxury car feature, they're expected. The used to be present on any and every vehicle on the market. Then came cost cutting.
Hi Sofyam. This is just a recommendation. Please upgrade your camera. It is low resolution and even streaming at 1440p feels like 720p. Please upgrade it.
The fact it needs Premium fuel is a deal breaker. That is insane these days!! I went with the UX, it’s slightly smaller but not by much and takes regular, and is 10k less. It’s totally usable.
Why do people keep saying that? The manual says it RECOMMENDS using premium. It also says you can you regular! The only trims that requires premium are the ones equipped with the turbos!
i have an nx350h and have been using regular gas with no problems
I’ve had mine for almost a year now and it hasn’t gotten boring yet. My previous car was an 2021 Acura TLX and that got boring quick. Boring as in the looks and functionality of the car. Obviously the Acura is more fun to drive but the gas savings are a no brainer for me
Great review! Lexus brand is 👍👍
I was thinking about the plug-in hybrid but I'm hearing that if there is an issue with the hybrid battery, the car will not run even with gas in it. Kinda defeats the purpose of that vehicle type.
...................................... NEVER ...............Ever heard an issue about the Battery (Traction Battery) maybe on other vehicles However Lexus and Toyota have been doing this for Soooooo Long....Heck my 450h+ "F" Sport Battery is even Liquid cooled
The 18" wheels look and perform better than these 20" wheels...
I wish the 20" wheels were optional on these higher trims.
When I built it on the website, it makes it look like you don’t have to get the 20 inch wheels, or maybe that’s just with the luxury package that you have to get them
I'm happy that people are finally clowning Naveen lmao.
That’s pretty weird. You must really love Toyota. 🥴
@@G-Rated okay Koreaboo
A good friend of mine chose the Venza Limited over this car a few months back! Both phenomenal cars but the Venza was more than a few thousand dollars cheaper for essentially the same vehicle.
Me as well. I couldn’t justify the price difference.
I own a 2021 Venza Limited and could not agree more!
Venza has been discontinued. Not a good seller. Replaced with the Crown Signia.

Lexus ❤❤
Hes the type of person that would complain about a car not being nice enough then when they make the car with better materials he says it's too much😅
The next model up from NX is the RX, not TX ;)
That acceleration sound is far from luxury.
No spare wheel gets a big 👎🏼
First thing said should be that this NX is only for people under 5’9” because it’s not for anyone taller than that. It’s very cramped , no headroom. Not to mention if you’re overweight and wide , forget this car …..
I am 6'" and plenty of room * try adjusting the seat!
Probably a big dude @@donaldbanner2185
@@donaldbanner2185 well at 6” tall you can fit in the glove box . And at 6’ tall my head hits the headliner .

I'm 6'3 and could fit reasonably well in an 09 IS. Do you think I could fit well into this SUV? Lol
If there's anyone barking about a Lexus having the same powertrain as a Toyota i feel for you, there's no such thing as exclusive powertrains these days.
Is the eCVT annoyingly buzzy?
Nope. Been driving ours for the last 12 months. This is not anything like the traditional CVT
Ok great. good to know that it’s nothing like the RAV4
Im on the fence between this and the BMW X3. The NX is really just a nicer Rav4. But I like to keep my cars for 10+ years, so the reliabilty of Lexus keeps pulling me toward the NX over the X3.
............................ Typical of Un-Educated People saying the NX is nothing but a RAV 4......Althought the MOST RELIABLE vehicle on the planner...the LEXUS has 3X's the sound dampening and with the Adaptive Suspension you get a Far better ride than the Dog EORO's
Get an x3. If you care about reliability just get a rav4. It’s the same car only cheaper
@donaldbanner2185 3x more soundproofing? Maybe on paper, but all the reviewers who take sound readings show they are close. Maybe it's the run flats adding to the noise too. The 350h doesn't have adaptive suspension, that's on the 450. I have 4 Toyotas an love them. I want to love the NX, and will probably get one over the X3, just due to reliability. But aside from a nicer interior, it's almost mechanically identical to the RAV4 powertrain, with slightly bigger electric motors from the RX.
@@fr8doggr551 and the nx needs premium fuel for high mpg🤣
If you keep it for 10+ years you also need to like the look of the vehicle.
Ugh 😣 a CVT. My only issue
NX vs Sigia
Toyota obviously want to sell these - so they haven't given it the ridiculous patch work paint job of the BX4X.
I still think the X3 or GLC are more dynamic lux SUVs, but you can't go wrong with the NX. The NX 450h+ PHEV is also better than the X3 xDrive30e and XC60 Recharge mostly for its long range and smooth operation, but I kind of wish Lexus made a NX 500h F-sport given the RX shares roughly the same architecture and chassis.
However if you're keeping cars long term past the lease term, the Lexus rises to the top mostly for its reliability and long term dependability
.............................. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm " more dynamic " if by this you mean the Dynamic feeling youi have by going to the Service Department & watching you money literally disappear by $25K the first of ownership / Depreciation I might agree....HOWEVER the Dynamic big edge is to the LEXUS 450h+ "F" Sport model with the Blacked out Chrome , Carbon Fiber interior and exterior where any gloss black was & Large Functional Black Open Air trim on the front Fascia....... Beautiful / Sporty Circut Red and black inserts on seats & a 0-60 time of 5.5 via Road and track ( actually it is even quicker out of the hole...I chirp All four tires because of three elec TorQ Motors.
The NX is just the size of a new X1, NX backseat is very cramped even for average height passengers
CVT TRANSMISSIONS SUCK, especially in a luxury marque
Yuck 🤢 that infotainment system looks horrible with gloss black, seriously?
No shot at 500 miles a tank. Regardless of how I drive after 1 year of ownership
Venza is a better value !!! I have all that plus heated wheel . Only thing my roof don’t open ..
Looks nice. I would still pocket the extra money and buy my CRV hybrid touring again. At least it comes with steering wheel heat standard.😂 😂😂 plus it has a real AWD system, instead of a couple of puny electric motors.
only issue is CVT - they need to use a proper gear box like Mazda
eCVT* and completely different.
I don’t think engine and battery are actually ANY different than in RAV4 or Venza, the difference in power comes from higher octane fuel. That’s it
Still no spare tire? A bit too small for my liking.
Venza Limited has a spare and $10K less
@OkinawaAdventure-un8om I found the NX to be a bit tight. I'm looking forward to the Venza replacement, the Crown Signia but I understand it will be very expensive.
$55,000 to go 0-60 in 6.8 sec?
It's not a sports car it's a luxury suv.

I rather save the moola and get the cx5 signature.
I’d save and get the remaining v6 powered Camry. Because I get a more sophisticated power train than any nx
That’s what I did.

Sounds terrible for a so called luxury vehicle. RAV4 in a fancy dress
Agreed. The nx and even the RX sound horrible in just about any configuration 😂
Naveen isnt Hyundai-kia Fanboy but Lexus-toyota secret admirer, because he know nothing hyundai-kia but Toyota-lexus, tbh
Premium fuel = defeat of all gas savings. Lol so stupid.
Side note to anyone considering this car, it does have a slight issue where the airbag area on the passenger side can collapse in. Which is kinda worrying for safety, but my friends who also had theirs cave in (but from piling shit up unlike I just like touching the materials) and the airbag did deploy just fine, but otherwise it’s gonna feel more removed from Toyota than Lexus of 8 years ago
Lexus is getting a bit too german in how they are nickel and diming over individual options.
Some of your comments need to be thought through.
Auto locking is a stupid idea. It causes a lot of problems. If you are too stupid to lock your car you should not be driving.
Regards. your suggestion leather should be on the dash: sheesh. Go to look at used cars with leather on the dash. Its too hot in summer up on the dash. The leather shrinks, pulls away from the edges and or cracks. Moronic idea.
Still can't drive itself meh
I was in the market for a compact SUV and I was looking at the Lexus RX 350, NX 350, and Honda CR-V. I was always heard great things about the smooth V-6 and reliability. I went with the Honda CR-V because those Lexus vehicles don’t feel luxurious. They are loud, overpriced, and the materials mid.
